"Yeah, I know, but..." Giichi trailed off, as he gazed around at the silent, foreboding scene. "...I guess wishful thinking's just a self defense mechanism of mine."

With them being so high up, the chilling wind whipped past them at a terrific speed, causing Giichi's cloak to temporarily billow in the wind. He snatched at it with his claws, holding it tight.

Quote:"she'll be here momentarily. She said she's almost done."

"That's...great..." Obviously Giichi didn't mean it though. The top of this tower gave him the creeps.

[Skipping. Where'd Nail go?]

[...So uh, it's been three weeks. Am I in the wrong topic or something?]

Era had been circling high above the city for quite some while at this point, taking special care to avoid the notice of the egg
carrier, marking out landing zones she would need to forward to Amiroo in a moment. But for now, she had a crew that
needed pick up.

"Rye, what's your status on that transmitter?"

"It's ready to transmit, we're ready for pickup. We need to hurry, according to Rog, this could start any minute."

"Copy "

Rye put the craft into a shallow dive, returning the craft to below the smoke layer that had accumulated above the city, below the layer was like a different world from that of above it. While it was bright and sunny above the smoke layer, below it, the world was a dreary gray scale.

A few moments passed as she descended into the airspace, eventually reaching her destination. Again, as she slowed the vehicle, the rattling returned with a vengeance, however for the moment it was controllable.

She pulled alongside the rooftop, lowering the rear hatch for the guys to climb aboard.

"Come on, lets go! Amiroo and Nail need us! Lets move lets move lets move!"
Not missing a beat, the others jumped aboard one by one.

"go on Gichii, i'm right behind you sweetheart" Rye said as she nudged him with her head, insisting he go before she herself jumped aboard.


Era wasted no time once everyone was aboard, closing the hatch, and diving viciously towards the rooftops far below. She was determined to get to Amiroo and Nail. Hopefully the two of them had succeeded, and splitting up hadn't been a foolish mistake.

"Alright, the transmitter should be transmitting now, SOLIS can you confirm that?" Rog said.

A small shiver ran down Giichi's back, as Rye nudged him forward. It still felt a little creepy to be pushed along by a raptor like that. Not to mention he half expected something to jump out up here, so being physically touched didn't feel very comforting, to put it lightly.

After jumping into the ship, he quickly moved forward to talk to Era.

"Do you know how Nail and Amiroo are doing? Are they okay?"

He felt half-afraid to ask, because he wasn't sure if he would like the answer.
