RE: Egg Command Tower
“Ahh- No, I’m not that. It’s….complicated.” Surprisingly, he was beginning to calm down. Why, he wasn’t sure, but maybe the conversation took his mind off things. “I’m afraid I wasn’t a part of the dimension where he took Station Square over. In fact, instead of him succeeding in my dimension he-” He stopped midway, almost as though he was unable to say it. Because the truth was, he wasn’t. Thinking back to when he watched the man’s death along with the times that he had briefly worked alongside him left a heavy feeling in his heart. No, he has not –missed- the Doctor, he hardly knew him. He didn’t care much for his philosophy standpoint, but unlike everyone else he seemed to knew, he didn't hate him. Hate him for what he was for; while he could care less. He was just another human being. Though, he remembered someone who thought of Robotnik as more—

And there was the reason his heart felt so heavy. Though it was possible his actions could of changed nothing; a part of him wanted to blame himself for the man’s death. And the reason for his guilt was not so much of his caring for the Doctor but who he had cared for—

“—was executed by G.U.N.”

"..."

The man fell silent. Apparently he wasn't sure what he was supposed to say now. For a while Alta would hear nothing from the other side of the wall. At last though, John picked back up again with his original mentor-like tone.

"This must be some kind of stealth interrogation. Robotnik's getting smarter. I think I'll stop talking."

RE: Egg Command Tower
“Stealth interrogation-?” He stopped, looking down at the ground and sighed. No, there would be no use explaining anything more. As most people did, he immediately branded him as one thing and chose to ignore. The one thing he hated about society the most. He leaned against the right wall and closed his eyes. It was times like these he wished he could have been working on something. Something that would have some kind of order to it; instead of the disorder world that surrounded him. Why did he have to be the only person of his kind? He waited for the time that they would take him away to start the interrogation, time slowly passing by.

RE: Egg Command Tower
A short time later, Alta would hear the now-familiar sound of SWATbot boots clanking on the metal floor. Soon after that sound, a SWATbot's shoulder briefly moved into view through the bars of his cell. But instead of opening his cell, they opened the cell next door...Jean-Baptiste's cell. Alta would hear a small sigh, and then John spoke again.

"Come on...let's just get this overwith." A sharp SLAM followed that, then Jean-Baptiste groaning loudly. The slam sounded like a metal fist impacting flesh.

"Prisoners must remain silent during transport."

RE: Egg Command Tower
He winced as he heard what was happening next door. Well, know he knew what –not- to do. There was not much he could do besides stop leaning on the wall and stand up straight. He didn’t bother to try and say something to the SWATbots; best to leave the bees to their work.

RE: Egg Command Tower
John's cell door closed, followed by the click of handcuffs. Soon after that, there was the sound of the SWATBot's feet clanking on the ground, with the dragging sound of John's feet.

Alta wouldn't have to wait much longer for his turn. A couple minutes later, two more SWATbots entered the cell block and stopped at Alta's cell. One of them worked a keypad to open up the cell, while the other entered with handcuffs. The bot motioned for Alta to hold out his arms.

Even though he couldn’t see clearly, he could still get the picture. He held out his hands with no resistance as his nerves quickly decreased. Now, he was scared and in a case a bit speechless.

The SWATbot slapped the cuffs on, then rather roughly grabbed Alta by the arm. He would practically be jerked off of his feet. The SWATbot didn't relax his pace at all, as he marched out of the cell and down the hallway. It was either pick up the same pace or be dragged along the floor.

The other SWATbot fell into step behind the two of them.

RE: Egg Command Tower
He chose to keep up with them, wincing at the throbbing pain in his arm. He felt his arm beating faster by the second and get to the point where he felt it was going to leap out of his throat. And even at the pace he was walking he could tell that he was shivering madly and began having a cold sweat. WHY did the nerve pills have to wear off?

RE: Egg Command Tower
After marching down a few non-descript hallways and an elevator ride, the three entered a hallway with nothing but steel doors along one side. The SWATbot punched in his passcode for the door, and the door hissed as it slid open sideways. Beyond the door Alta would see nothing but solid blackness.

As one SWATbot pointed his gun at the human, the other undid Alta's handcuffs. Then, unceremoniously, the SWATbot with the handcuffs placed one hand behind Alta's back and gave a mighty shove, pushing him into the pitch black room. The sounds echoed off the walls as Alta would be sent inside.

Then the door slid closed behind him, leaving him in the inky blackness. Judging from the feel of the floor, it was cold concrete.
