Egg Command Tower

[Rose Fox]

Rose smiled through the monitor. “[Thanks doc. Good to know I’m useful than just being a secretary. But, I don’t think I’m quite done with showing you what they can do.]”

Her smile became more mischievous as she called out to her bots. “[Skel-ies!]”


“Yes, ma’am?” The all replied back in unison.


“[One of you go behind the booth.]”


Following orders quickly, the one in the middle jumped over the shooting range booth with a front flip and landed perfectly.


“[Now, run up one of the sides of the wall and jump off- WHILE shooting.]”



“Yes, Ma’am!”


And so the Skel-y obeyed, running straight up the right wall and managed to get reality high before it was obvious it could no longer go up. When that happened, the Skel-y automatically jumped off, shooting several rounds at the target before landing in a roll. It looked over towards were it had seen Rose’s face into the monitor.


“ Did I do well~?”


“[Yes, yes you did.]” Rose replied with a triumphant smile; like she would have patted it on the head. The Skel-y’s face turned into a happy expression.

[Dr. Robotnik]

"Oh my...the swatbots could never do that." The doctor grinned. "Although they aren't very tough. But if they work in concert in battle, I can see many possibilities."

Robotnik's communicator beeped. Sighing, he reached down and brought it up to his mouth.

"Yes? What is it?"

"Intruder found and terminated in the sewers," a SWATbot answered back quickly.

The doctor blinked a few times.

"My...that was fast. Usually it takes a lot longer. So who got the final kill? Novus? Rampage?"

"No...the new Skel-ies did."

"What?" The doctor looked up at Rose on the monitors. "Rose...did you let your little robot buddies go running around in the city already?" He said this in a way to suggest he was angry she'd gone over his authority like that. However, that impression melted away quickly. A broad smile crossed his face. His number one fangirl was proving to be a valuable resource. "Normally I'd be mad, but they've already killed the intruder, even before Rampage and Novus. I'm very impressed. You should build more as soon as you can."

And with that, he switched channels to the ship that Novus and Rampage were riding in. "You two can come back now. The intruder's been dealt with, so report back to the command tower. By the way, I need to discuss my next operation with you. It's actually already under way, so get back here immediately. Oh...and Rampage..."

The doctor's voice took on a sterner tone.

"This time I will meet you in the docking bay. Understood? No more visits to the lab with unannounced guests."

[Rose Fox]

[“Hey, you told me I could help. Plus, I only sent four. And if this guy was killed by them, then he obviously wasn’t that big of a problem. And anyways, all the others are drilling a huge hole…”]

Rose paused having already crossed her arms.

[“Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that. You see…the skel-ies have been digging underground for a while now. They haven’t hit anything or whatever, I’m making sure they are digging into places were they won’t damage anything. You could say that a particular pet of mine can’t fit through the front door very well….so they’re digging an entrance for him…”]

[Dr. Robotnik]

Robotnik did not like the sound of this. She was conducting her own little digging operations without telling him? And they were looking for a pet of hers? What sort of pet would be buried underground like that?

"Rose...give me the full story. I want to know where you're digging, and what this pet of yours is. You've been a great help to the empire so far, but I also need to know about these little projects of yours."

[Rose Fox]

Rose waved her hands in a motion that said it was no big deal.


[“Yeah, yeah, I can show you there little digging map. Ya see, my little bunker was nestled in the mountains; underground. And somehow this strange little dimensional merge placed it under your city. So all my hatches that were –supposed- to lead outside are now blocked by sheets of rock. So in order to clear up at least one I needed to dig. And my little Serph-y simply can’t fit through the front entrance.-”]


She clasped her hands together and gave a sad look, like a little girl who’s lost her cat up in a tree.

[“Serph-y needs to come out of there! After all, he can’t stay cramped in that little hole for too long! He’ll get restless.”]/b]

Her expression changed for a brief second as it went into a more wide-eyed wonderment.

[b]["I think I can patch a surveillance camera through so you can see him…”][b]

He would see Rose soon turn her attention to her keyboard as she typed incredible fast. Before long she would managed to show what she was talking about. It showed a fairly large hanger, which was lite but still somewhat dim. And sitting in the middle looked to be a large, metallic snake-like creature; that looked to be curled up as though it was sleeping. Robotnik, if he had created it, would no doubt recognize the resemblance of it, as it looked to be the Egg Viper. Despite not being able to see her, Robotnik could still hear her childish sounding voice over the intercome.

[Tranmission from Base Lanuch Zone]

The Doctor would soon notice that his communicator was beeping. When he would answer a voice would come through, the signal producing a lot of static as though the communication device was too far away.

{“Ah, Doctor. I’ve finally reached you…”}

Obviously the voice wouldn’t be recognizable, but it sounded very low and off.

[Dr. Robotnik]

The doctor wasn't sure if he should admire or be a little afraid of this thing. He honestly had no idea what it was...but it looked like a...

"...snake? It's a giant snake?"

Owing to the dim light, he didn't recognize it as a robot at first and thought it was alive.

"Where did you get a giant snake from? How is it living down there? Are you planning to turn it loose up here?"

That idea the doctor REALLY didn't like. But before he could ponder that thought more, he was interrupted yet again by his communicator.

The doctor unclipped it from his belt and lisstened to the message. However, he could only hear bits and pieces of it between the static. Although he did manage to make out the "finally reached you" part.

Sighing, he said, "Are you another one of my long lost friends from another dimension?" This was proving to be rather tiring, really. If only he'd had this many allies before Sonic had screwed things up with the emeralds shattering...

[“It’s not a gaint snake!”] Rose remarked defensivly, [“It’s my Serph-y! He’s a gaint –robotic- snake.”]

She soon paused though as she realized the Doctor probably wasn’t listening.

The other person was obviously not amused by this remark, nor did they seem to understand a joke.

{“What are you talking about?”} The voice started off, in a very dry tone, {“Friend? I don’t remember being considered that.”} He paused, obviously deep in thought. {“….Doctor, could you kindly elaborate what you mean by ‘Different Diemention’? It wouldn’t happen to do with Chaos Control?”}

[Dr. Robotnik]

"That's right," Robotnik said, confirming what the voice said about Chaos Control.

"A while ago, I had in my possession all of the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, but then when Sonic came to save the day as usual the emeralds got shattered. This caused a massive burst of Chaos Control that merged multiple dimensions and times of our world together. And ever since then allies of myself from other dimensions seem to have been lining up outside my doorstep..." The doctor sighed again. "Now, if only every one of these people had been around BEFORE Sonic screwed things up. So who are you, and what's your story with me? You've probably been working with an alternate dimension version of me, hence why I don't know you."
