Omega ran up to Whip, and knelt beside him. "Whip!? Whip? What's wrong!? What happened!?"

"Ugh... those vibes... they caught me off guard..." Whip muttered, staind up and shaking his head.
"It feels the same as that little shard I gave you. Also," Whip smacked Omega over the head. "..I lost my ring thanks to you!"

"Ow! Jeez, sorry..." He removed one of the rings from his finger, and pulled it to it's normal size, handing it to Whip. "Here, take one back, I can only use 5 at a time anyway...."

He glanced around, looking for what could be causing Whip to so bad, thinking that maybe it was another shard, like Whip had told him.

"Thaaaaank you!!" Whip thanked, taking the ring and placing it... somewhere. He then noticed Omega's wandering stare.
"It's coming from over there." Whip said, pointing in a general direction. "In the direction of those stone steps."

Omega nodded vaguely, and plodded to the stairs. He began rooting around the stairs until he found the source of Whip's discomfort, another glass shard, just like the first. He held it up to show Whip, and then stuffed it into his pocket with the first.

"Hey, you think those rocks are connected somehow?" Whip asked. "They sorta look like each other..."
Whip reached into his pocket an pulled out a Turnip, shoving a bite of it down his throat.

Omega pulled the shards out, and held them both in his hand, looking at them. ".... I don't know. Maybe. The only place I've seen anything remotely like this is in the cooled sections of Lava Reef Zone... But this just... Kinda glows, all on it's own. Anyway, I'll hang onto them. And if you keep getting sick like this, I'll look for them, if there are more. Probably worth something to someone."

"Hey, yeah. A rock that glows on it's own? Sounds like a quick buck to me!" Whip exclaimed, money signs replacing his eyes. "I wonder what's up with the stomach aches though. You think I'm allergic or some...thing...."
Whip stood silent, his breath shortening. He could feel the blood rushing to his head and his legs going numb. He shook his head, blinking quickly and reaching for his head with one hand.
"Um, nevermind. Those things are taking their toll, for real.... I can feel it from miles away..." Whip sputtered. "It's like the more we collect, the more I can feel..."

Omega quickly pushed the shards back into his pocket. "I'm sure we'll find someway to cure your queasiness along the way, if we keep looking for these shards."

"It doesn't feel like there are any more here." Whip commented, looking around himself in a scan. "I think maybe we could find some more in other areas. But do you think there could be other things around here?" He asked, looking questioningly at Omega.
