RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
Nail paid no attention to anything the knight was saying, as he frantically collected the last magazine and stuffed it into a pouch on his flak vest. But just as he was moving to run the other way, the knight snagged his leg with the whip, which caused Nail to fall over backwards into a supine position.

Years of experience caused the fox to reflexively bring his P90 to bear on his opponent, despite laying on the ground. As the sight pointed towards the knight's upper body and head, Nail squeezed the trigger. A torrent of 5.7mm rounds spilled out from the muzzle. If it didn't hurt him, Nail at least hoped it made the bastard shut up and let go.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
The drad knight placed his left gauntlet in the way. The over sized piece of armor took a majority of the bullets, the rest cascaded against his armor. Still reeling the fox in, he moved his upper body from left to right, not allowing the assault of lead to concentrate on any one part of his armor. Though the last dozen or so bullets of the clip penetrated his coal black armor, embedding themselves into his flesh.

Now with a fresh wound oozing blood, the dread knight got down to one one knee, reaching down with his left arm to grasp the merc's face with his gauntlet. Blood flowing down his arm, spilling onto Nail's combat vest and equipment. "Is that all offer for my penitence, a flurry of bug bites? I require greater agony then this." if Nail was to bother listening to Relic this time he could discern 2 things. The knight had a working bran inside his skull and his attack managed to piss him off, though as far the battle was concerned, Nail drew first blood.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
He could feel this warrior's hot breath his face as he spoke. It chilled Nail to the bone to be in the grasp of such an opponent.

Fortunately, the knight seemed to have only grabbed Nail's head...not bothering to restrain his arms. That allowed Nail to draw his Five seveN and point it directly at the arm restraining him. Even though he couldn't see properly, he could feel the barrel scraping against the arm's armor. At such a close range, the bullets would do a lot more damage, especially with the armor-piercing nature of hte 5.7mm rounds. Nail probably would have made a snarky reply like "How about this agony?" if he wasn't so terrified at this moment.

The fox just spasmically pulled the trigger, hoping this would finally get his attacker to allow him to run like hell already.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
The rounds began to wound Drake's arm. The gun moving up the dread knight's arm from the recoil. The bullets embedded themselves into muscle tissue of his out stretched limb, while other ricocheted off his bones, making hole holes in the walls.

The knight had just started applying pressure to the merc's skull, intending to turn his head into a pile of mush with in his palm. Before he was able to do that, his clawed hand fell limp, releasing the fox to the ground. The bullets had gone through the ligaments that controlled his left hand.

Relic Drake let out sinister laughter at finding out this "We shall see who's path will be judged fit to be fulfilled!" The helmet was very articulated, having a separate piece to cover his jaw. One could almost make out the insane grin possessing the enslaved fox.

With Nail's foot still wrapped up by the energy whip, Drake stood fully. With a great heave he yanked the whip back around Nail included. Traveling through the door, the whip was forced to make a 90 degree turn, bending on the doorway, before releasing the fox. In one swift motion Drake single handily had thrown Nail out of the room and down the hall.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
Nail executed a Wilhelm scream as he sailed through the door and then down the hallway, as he banged roughly against the wall and then landed in a heap on the floor. A small blizzard of pain surrounded his consciousness, between the two rough impacts and getting his head sqeezed. He stumbled to his feet, looking to see where he'd ended up.

Amazingly, he'd ended up next to the elevator he'd rode in, and the doors were wide open. Nail had wanted to avoid the elevator, because he figured that Priscilla girl could easily do something to screw with it. But it was the only way to go, unless he wanted to try to run past that knight again...something he didn't fancy. So Nail quickly stumbled in and slapped the button for two floors down. As the doors shut he stopped to reload his weapons.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
The dread knight dragged his body out into the hall, letting out huffs and heaves. Readying the whip again, he waited for a bit. Lashing it out just as the doors shut, He gotten in stuck between the firmly shut doors. Pulling with all his might, He flung himself into the steel doors as the elevator began its decent.

His larg body made an impact on the doors, denting them in heavily but the elevator still moved. Dispelling his whip he raised the orb back into the air. He began to form a longsword in his right hand, he needed something to pry the door open.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
Relic's sudden impact into the elevator sent Nail to the floor. He recollected himself as fast as he could and saw the whip lashing in the small gap between the dented doors. Almost like a cartoon, they now had an imprint in the vague shape of the knight's body.

How did he cover that much ground so fast?!

No matter...the elevator was still going down. The whip lashed around a bit more before being sucked out as it reached the top of the gap. Nail dragged himself over to the control panel and started mashing the button for the floor below, rather than two floors down.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
Stabbing the ethereal in between the doors of the opening to the elevator, Drake began prying them apart. Applying pressure on the sword untill it began to bend and warp, after opening the doors the green hued weapon let out a piercing whine before exploding into emerald green sparks.
Relic brought the the orb close to his face for a brief inspection, letting out a groan. "Busted...." The artifact could only handle so much strain before it had to recharge, it had reached far beyond it's limits being wielded by the dread knight.

With the doors now fully open, the coal black knight took a single step foward into the open shaft. Plummeting his top heavy armor made him rotate forward, so his upper body slammed into the roof of the elevator. Denting the roof heavily, he raised his right hand up, planning to smash the top of the elevator and cave it in. Chasing this merc around the building was proving to be much more of a hassle then he had anticipated.

RE: Sparring: Nail vs Relic
Nail could hear a screeching noise up above as the elevator descended. Fortunately, the car had just arrived at the floor below. But the dents that Relic caused before prevented the doors from opening all the way...since they couldn't smoothly slide into their recesses now. That left just a narrow opening in the doors to squeeze through.

But as Nail started to move to the gap, Relic crashed into the top of the elevator...making it fall down slightly below the floor he was on. After recovering from the shaking sent through the car, the fox glanced upwards, seeing a new indentation in the roof. Then there was another loud crash and a second indentation...as the knight slammed his fist into the roof. This elevator wasn't going to take much more abuse. He heard the structure of it groaning and shaking from all the pounding. Frantic, Nail flung his P90 ahead of him through the door gap, and then jumped upwards to squeeze through the narrow exit with his pistol in hand.
