RE: Twisting Pavement
"Except for the bathroom, it's just one big room inside, so it's more spacious than you'd think," Giichi said, as he unlocked the door. It felt really good to be back. Felt like months had passed since he'd been around here.
Terra would see that Giichi was correct about saying it was all just one large, airy room. A sitting area with a couch, some recliners, and a TV took up much of the side of the house facing the water, with a bay window giving a great view of the ocean and the beach outside. The other side appeared to be mostly for the kitchen and dining area, with a door leading into a small walled-off bathroom. Above the kitchen, Terra would see a loft just below the pointed roof, with an octagonal window letting in some light. That looked to be the sleeping area, since he'd see a bed up there. Despite being small in size, having few walls made it feel very light and airy, especially with the high ceiling. "I suppose one of us will just have to sleep on the couch. But it does fold out into a bed at least." He started walking up the narrow staircase towards his bed, taking off his cloak as he went. Despite being the mid morning or noon time, he felt rather sleepy from all the traveling. "Maybe I'll rest a bit and then we can decide what to do next..." |

RE: Twisting Pavement
Terra's eyes endlessly scanned the place as he made his way inside. He nodded in agreement as Giichi mentioned the couch. It did look rather comfy but sleep was something he didn't need at the moment. Looking down at his palm markings he breifly grimaced as they were still a bit faded.
"Enjoy your rest, I will remain awake and replenish my power outside." He replied looking up at the sand cat. Giichi would then see the Geomancer exit through the same door they just entered through. Outside he wondered not too far out onto an open patch of sand where he began his traditional medatative procedure. |

RE: Twisting Pavement
Giichi turned around, his eyes already half closed and heavy as he watched Terra exit the house. Going outside to replenish power? Oh well, maybe that's what he'd been doing before in the garage. He thought he'd just check up on him later, as he quickly shed his clothes and slipped under the covers.
[Little time skip here I guess] After he felt refreshed, Giichi climbed out of bed and got dressed up again. He didn't see Terra anywhere inside the house, so he decided to go outside and look for him there. Sure enough, he was sitting on the beach sand and doing that meditation thing again. Unsure of whether or not he should interrupt, Giichi decided to just sit down next to him and look at the ocean till the echidna noticed him there. |

RE: Twisting Pavement
A green outline surrounded the warrior as he sat with his legs crossed and hands folded together. The soothing sounds of the beach had made his medatation easier than ever before. His closed eyes opned brefly at the sound of approaching footsteps. Seeing Giichi he resumed, alhough the outline seemed to die down a bit.
"I asumse your nap was well enjoyed. What's the plan now?" He asked as his eyes gradually opened, the outline vanised |

RE: Twisting Pavement
The green aura made Giichi feel more like he definitely should remain quiet until Terra was ready to talk. He stopped for a moment when Terra looked at him and the outline faded, but apparently the echidna didn't mind and resumed what he was doing. After a few moments Terra spoke up.
"Now that I'm back and got some time to myself, I think I would like to...go into town." Giichi said the last bit slightly hesitantly, as if he were carefully thinking through how to speak in his head before saying anything. "There's this building in Soleanna I think you'll really like. I don't want to spoil the surprise though. Want to go look now?" |

RE: Twisting Pavement
Terra raised an eyebrow at the sand cat's hesitation. The Geomancer got to his feet and let out a prolonged stretch. Giichi's offer filled him with curiosity and he glanced over at him.
"Ready when you are." He replied as he lent a hand out to help him up. |

RE: Twisting Pavement
Giichi accepted the hand, and before long they were back at the car and cruising down the coastal roads. The cat took it easy, because he knew the police presence got tighter and tighter as they got closer to the city. He scanned everywhere around the road for hiding places for cops, trying to guess where they would be.
As he did so, he gave an offhand question to Terra. "Have you ever seen Soleanna before? That's where we're going." |

RE: Twisting Pavement
Terra breifly glanced at him as he noticed the sudden loss of speed, and raised an eyebrow. It seemed attention from local law enforcement agencies wasn't on Giichi's agenda. Nonethless, he enjoyed the passing veiw and rested his right arm out the window.
"Only from advertisements have I seen this place. I've heard many things after the dimensional merge and from what I heard, this is a safe place to think about my next course of action with no inturuptions." He replied |

RE: Twisting Pavement
As they neared the city, Terra would definitely notice the amount of traffic increasing, not to mention the buildings. They whisked past quaint little sidewalk cafes and tourist shops with postcards out front. On the left, a billboard advertising the Alfredrick's bar came into view. That reminded Giichi of when this little adventure had started. A smile tugged at the edge of his mouth as he wondered if Petya was still in there, passed out drunk from when they'd last spoken. Felt like ages ago.
But as they passed the sign, the funny thought disappeared, replaced by a small mixture of fear and anger. Right smack behind it was a police car with a cop in it, pointing the radar gun at them. They were going the correct speed so Giichi had nothing to worry about, but the mere sight of the cop and car caused his eyes to narrow. Cops would always deny they had nothing against bright red sports cars, but Giichi didn't believe that for an instant. "So...your next move? What do you think it'll--" The cat stopped speaking, looking up ahead. "Oh, I think we're there now." [To Roval Arms] |
