Darkness the Hedgehog

Name: Darkness.

Age: 19.

Species: Hedgehog.

Colour: Dark grey, black and red.

Clothes: Black fingerless gloves, a pair of dogtags, a large black zipper sleeveless shirt with blue rings around the holes the arms slip out, a large pair of dark black jeans and a pair of black and dark blue hi-tech boots.

Appearance: Long dark grey quills running down to hip level. A black muzzle. No ears on the outside. Black streaks on his shoulders and around his eyes. Red eyes.

Personality: Can be very stubborn, prefers to stick to being a loaner and is sometimes angry for no reason. He has a bad attitude towards some people who are annoying to him and hates being helped when he's already been humiliated in any way. His anger can sometimes blind him of what's going on, causing him to go rapid. He's only nice to those who don't annoy him as much. He doesn't take many things seriously when they've got nothing to do with him but when they do, he gets extremely serious. He's also sarcastic when things look too damn obvious. He DOES however only talk about his personal life to Tia only and no other, her being the only person he's closest to.

History: Born from a poor family, Darkness didn't originally go by his current name. His home town was invaded by a huge terrorist population and were very un-merciful. Him and his family had no choice but to leave the town and live somewhere much safer when Darkness was still a baby. But when they decided to become refugees on a transport navy ship, hell sprung lose. Pirates invaded the ship and killed everyone, including Darkness' family. The pirates decided to orphan him and a few other children and teach them to become what they were. Over the years, Darkness was taught to become ruthless, un-merciful and skilled with all sorts of pirate weapons. On his first day as a real pirate, Darkness and his fellow ship mates invaded an island population and stole everything of value to the islanders. Darkness was then told to plant bombs on the island and blow it out of the waters. He did so and as the island ceased to exist, the pirates decided to give him a name that suited his cold black heart: Darkness. But after a few years, their ship was shot at and captured by a navy fleet. Some of the pirates were captured and hung, but the rest, along with Darkness, escaped with the remaining boats on their ship. After arriving at land, the pirates as well as Darkness went their seperate ways since they were no threat to anyone in their small numbers, and it wasn't easy to convince more people to become pirates. Darkness left his life as a pirate and searched for a new life.

During his travels, he bumped into a girl known as Tia. The two fought like no other. After the fight, the two seemed to realize they were questing for the same thing and decided to set off with each other to find what they were after. But during the travels, they grew more attached to each other and soon fell in love. After, they realized they were both what they were looking for and settled with each other. They now travel the planet along side one-another, looking for new things to broarden their minds.

Skills with Katana - Intermediate (15): Weilding a sword was the main part of being a pirate and Darkness would've been no good amongst the crew had he not been taught the ways of the blade. Looking after his sword after every battle, Darkness continues to train.

Skills with Twin SOCOMS - Intermediate (15): Darkness always carries around with him a pair of SOCOM handguns wherever he goes. After many lessons by the pirates who raised him, plus some self teaching, Darkness is a skilled handgun specialist.

Skills Slots: 10
Beginner in First-Aid (5): After each individual battle, Darkness manages to clean up small wounds. Large wounds forces him to go to a doctor to check up on him or to find someone else who's got a higher knowledge of first-aid.
Beginner in Cooking (5): Not exactly the greatest of all chefs but Darkness does know a thing or two about basic foods to cook. Knowing how to use a microwave and an oven to the basis of a teen, he's able to cook up small meals to satisfy his hunger. Otherwise he has to order food or go out to eat.

Strengths:

- Is able to leap to heights higher than average.

Weakness:
- Extremely intense light weakens Darkness very easily.
- When extremely angry, he can be easily caught off-guard, giving his enemies a chance to whack him one.
