Topical Smell?

Soleanna... a city that mostly covered by water more than land, how unique. There are not many cities out there that actually has a town or city that is surrounded by water. This is one of the few that Escudo has seen, and by far yet probably the best. Escudo stands in the front deck of the small boat that he paid for so he can arrive here. Looking from a distance between the ocean he can only imagine what will he expect as soon when he takes his first step. "We will arrive there shorty, please get all your belongings" The captain of the boat said to Escudo, keeping his hands on the wheel to make sure that his boat is heading straight toward the parking place instead somewhere else. His black eyes, aims straight ahead while both of his hands were moving gently from left to right on the wheel. It will take a few minutes before Escudo will be able to depart from the boat, at the meantime the captain wanted to ask him a few questions about his reason of coming all the way to this part of the world.

"Escudo, mind if you tell me why you want to be here?"
"Just here for vacation, need a break from my job."
"I see, everyone needs a time out"
"I cannot agree more"

Those few minutes passed away quickly, Escudo and the captain finally arrived to their destination. As the boat finally got to the docks of Soleanna, Escudo picks up his bags from the boat, making sure that he is not leaving anything. The captain knows the day when Escudo will be expecting him to arrive, there is no need to ask that question. "Well, have a great time. I will see you later" The captain said to Escudo, as the summoner looks at him and nods his head. With that, Escudo starts to take his first steps inside Soleanna. The first thing he can hear are the seagulls flying around the sky above him, some where driving close to the ocean so they can capture a fish for supper. There is not need to look at the ocean to notice that since he can hear the splashes that the seagulls are making. There is nothing else he can hear but that for now, sounds like a prefect chance to smoke a cigarette.

Escudo drops a few bags that he was holding on his right hand. He digs inside his jacket pocket to check if he has some cigarettes left from the long boat ride. Unfortunately he does not, hopefully this place sell some because he cannot stand a day without taking at least one smoke. Picking the bags he dropped on the ground, he starts to smell the atmosphere of the docks of Soleanna. He cannot expect anything more than a topical type of smell, it is said that this city has their own jungle, it must be from that.

Looks like there are a few things that he is going to have to take care of before he does anything. The population of this city sort of looks big, renting a house or room would not be a bad idea. But, he is going to need to find a place that offer those services. No, better yet he wants to get a pack of cigarettes, they are much important than everything else he can think off now.
