The Arrival

The Arrival
The area had been charged with an abnormally high energy level for almost half an hour now. As time went on the anomaly had shrunk from covering a good quarter of the city down to a mere 100 meters. All the while its rate of change had increased steadily. And none of that energy had disappeared. It simply condensed, leaving the air now crackling with energy. This all hovered roughly over where the city hall of former Station Square had been.

Before long, with a sound akin to the snapping of a rubber band, the anomaly collapsed upon itself. With a flash of bright light, the energy dissipated rapidly, a ring of light spreading and vanishing away into the sky. At the center of its collapse, standing calmly on the bare ground, was a fox. This fox glanced back and forth lazily, leaning on a staff roughly as tall as him. He looked practically regal in his clean, flowing robes and with his strange, runed staff. “So this is Mobius?” he said to himself. “This should be interesting…”

[Note: As I honestly don’t know how all the terrain looks in the new Robotropolis, some information on that would be much appreciated. I also left out what time of day it is so you can decide however many civilians around you’d like viewing the proceedings ^_^]

RE: The Arrival
The electrical light show had obviously brought attraction to the miserable city. Though not the good kind of attention, a few patrolbots approached the fox's way. Probably demading an explanation... or just a prisoner for Robotnik.

RE: The Arrival
As he surveyed his surroundings, his twinkling eyes eventually settled upon the approaching robots. "Ah, the locals. What odd looking armor they have." He smiled and began striding purposefully toward them. "Excuse me! I don't suppose you fellows could tell me where I am? I'm new to the area, you see." His voice was bright and cheerful, something likely not often heard in these dingy streets.

RE: The Arrival
You are in breach of the cities curfew, you have 30 seconds to comply or be terminated.

The robots arruptly pointed a prod with a sharp ball at the fox as he approached closer. These guys didnt mess around with nighttime curfew!

RE: The Arrival
Corona raised his hands up in an attempt to help alleviate the situation. "Whoa, whoa. No need to terminate anyone here, gents. I wasn't aware there was a curfew in the area. What is needed in order to 'comply'?"

RE: The Arrival
a handprint device released from the robot, Perhaps a register process was necessary.

The 2nd robot however still kept its laserprod point at the fox.

RE: The Arrival
Corona raised an eyebrow, watching the device warily. Okay, he thought. Must be some kind of golems or something... that would explain the blank aggressiveness, anyway. Still... "What is that?"

RE: The Arrival
He laughed softly, shaking his head at the robot. "Oh, I'm afraid I'm not in your database. As I said before, I'm not from around here. Now I ask again. Where am I?" And as mirthful as he sounded, the question sounded more like a command than anything else...

RE: The Arrival
The robots had heard enough talk from the stranger and shot fire at the gentlemen. Aiming towards his feet like a warning signal.

Then you will come with us to Robotropolios prison.
