Exclamation RE: Releasing Pressure
She watched the rabbit walk away from this. She was no longer attacking the forest so that was a plus but still it was unlikely it will change the end result at this point. She would likely come back and repeat it anyway.

"How do you expect to find her just sitting in a forest practicing? If it was my sister I would not even stop moving till I found where she went."

Saria turned towards the relative location of the unknown. The location was becoming a bit clear now that they were talking about right.

"And I hate to inform you but I'm not an 'Overlander', nor am I from any place you know of. I don't even know what 'coal' is. So take your prejudice somewhere else. I have no idea what these 'Overlanders' have done to you but don't go blaming other people who have nothing to do with it."

She was getting mad at these people. She had a rabbit that was all about full of herself thinking the world revolved around her sister and clearly did not care of consequences of her own actions. The second one was taking out some prejudice, that has nothing to do with her, on her.

RE: Releasing Pressure
Chalk stopped walking and put a hand to her head with a sigh. This was all getting too much. She hadn't been in the Freedom Fighters long so it was reasonable to assume this guy hadn't heard about her yet. And this other one was just being too high and mighty, come to think of it she did look a bit that way too.

She turned slowly, looking at Saria and beyond into the forest. "Why does this happen to me?" she murmured to herself slowly. Slowly she sat down on a nearby rock and leaned back. High above the sun was streaming into the clearing maintaining a nice temperature beneath the canopy.

Her ears picked up the remarks to her own comments but she decided not to respond. This arguement was getting out of hand and Chalk had a feeling it was a complete misunderstanding on all parts. She yawned and rested back on the rock, her wings folding back behind her and sliding into place on either side of the rock she was leaning on. The end result was a rather comfy stand she could rest again. She chuckled to herself lightly as she took a piece of fruit from her pocket and began to munch on it.

RE: Releasing Pressure
I slapped my hand across my face, both because this foam kept falling down into my face and was really starting to try my patience (which only seemed to make the faint blue hue tracing across the scars on my body become brighter) but also because this conversation as it seems has been one big misunderstanding on everyone's part.

Okay, sure, I'm still not entirely convinced this girl is not just some Mobian-Overlander hybrid, but still. I have NEVER heard my dad talk about Overlander's creating balls of flashing light from their hands. Plus, and this is probably my own prejudice speaking, but this person seemed far to preachy for an Overlander. According to my Dad's experiences with them they have all been very demanding and forceful.

As for the Rabbot. I have no idea what she is talking about with this whole 'Angel' Suit, but the explanation of it being a fire-fighting equipment did suddenly explain what I was coated in. That at least left me relieved this wasn't anything toxic to me at least. Still this whole situation needed further explanation and speaking from my hiding place was not going to encourage either of them very forthcoming with information.

Come to think of it, didn't I hear the Rabbot say she's been here practicing with that suit for a week? How could I have not noticed any of that before I was knocked out last night by that... whatever it was... Heck, both of them seemed like they knew more about what was going on than I did so perhaps it would be worth the risk to find out what I can. Besides, at the very least doing so will get me out of this insufferable foam and let me dry off.

"All right, I'm coming out." I called out. "I'm not looking for a fight, but don't try anything funny." I rose up from beneath the bush, slowly and cautiously. I now came into full view of the two in the clearing. Well, my body at least. As I stepped out of the forest I brushed off all the foam I could from myself, revealing to the two in the clearing the my brown fur, and green tunic, and revealing to them that their mysterious stranger is a deer. Of course, from this distance they may not notice, but as I drew closer they might notice the strange, faint blue glow coming from the lightning patterned scars all across my body. Me, I don't know how, but somehow I was completely oblivious to it.

RE: Releasing Pressure
It was kind of nice to see things cool down a bit. Saria just hoped they stay like that as truthfully she really did not have to fight people. It was easy smashing robots and machines but people? That was not something she really wanted to do. She was suprised to see the unknown person was a deer. She was expecting maybe someone younger, a fox maybe but then again Saria did not know the full extent of furs. She however relaxed a bit now that at least everyone was in the open.

"I was not looking for a fight etheir, I was sleeping till I heard some explosion that knocked me off where I was sleeping onto my bum."

She was rather annoyed that her sleep had been interrupted but at this point she was wide awake.

RE: Releasing Pressure
"Yeah that was my bad, sorry." said Chalk from behind as she sat up with a grin.

The smile stretched from one side of her face to the other in a very dorky looking expression. She waved with one hand only adding to the look. Opening her eyes she studied the new arrival with curiosity. He was like her but seemed to be a Robin Hood to her Star Trek.

She hopped off her rock, took a moment to steady herself and then started forwards towards them both. "Didn't know anyone else was around here you know," she started saying, "Not seen anyone in days. You coulda just said I woke you up, wouldn't have minded a break anyway. I'm getting all sweaty anyway maybe I should..."

She paused and begun to look around. "Oh gosh darn it! Where'd I put that cursed pack? I thought I left it far enough away, drat!" Perhaps it was clear to tell earlier but it seemed she was now rambling to herself as she glanced back and forth around the clearing.

Finally she shrugged and looked back at Chadin and Saria. "Oh well, I'll find it later. Name's Chalk." As she finished she looked at the other two, seemingly expecting some sort of reply from them.

RE: Releasing Pressure
"Same here. I replied to Saria's comment about our apparent rude awakening. "But believe me I wasn't sleeping voluntarily. I was on my way to kno- To meet with some other Freedom Fighters when the sky ripped open... Felt like I was getting torn to pieces bit by bit."

"You said you've been here for days?" I asked Chalk. I found it odd to think that if she has been training in this same spot the past two days doing the same thing that I would fail to notice either the destruction of this clearing, or all the noise she was making. I also couldn't help noticing that this rabbot seemed a bit... squirrely.

RE: Releasing Pressure
"My name is Saria, pleased to met you!"

Saria replied back as she was sure she had yet to introduce herself as well. She had been suprised to hear that Chalk was here that last few days, though then again Saria roamed the forest and so it was not like she was in this area all the time the last few days. It seemed the deer however beat her to the question about how long she has been here.

RE: Releasing Pressure
Chalk gave a polite nod at Saria and then looked back at Chadin. She pulled a face for a moment and then shrugged slightly, she guessed he didn't want to introduce himself.

"Yeah a couple of days, ever since I arrived here," she replied before pausing and looking away for a moment. "Still don't even know where here is mind you. One minute Linda was visiting me at the rescue centre and the next WHAM!"

As if to enphasise her point she raised her right foot and slamed it down heavily on the ground. The impact sent shockwaves through the ground, not enough to knock anyone over but certainly enough to feel. It seemed Chalk wasn't lacking in the physical strength department. Without even pausing though she carried on her tale.

"Next thing I knew I was waking up in this dingy looking city. Totally shocked me you know," she paused momentarily as a look of thunder crossed her face, "That's when Linda got captured. Looking back at it there wasn't anything I could have done, I hate to admit it but if those other Freedom Fighters hadn't showed up I could have been captured or killed myself. Doesn't help my mood mind you...."

She scowled heavily, spinning round and slamming her armoured foot against a nearby rock. The rock fragmented on impact, part of it flying off and smashing into the bow or a nearby tree. There was a pause and then the bow fell like a rock to the ground. Chalk stared at it for a moment and then turned back to the group.

"So now I'm stuck here for the foreseeable future until I can work out what happened."

RE: Releasing Pressure
One part of me was a little frustrated that this rabbit continued to keep wrecking the forest even after all the trouble it caused, but another side was quite impressed by the power this one had at her command.

And yet another voice in my head however was reeling at the revelations this one brought up. The dingy old city I can only imagine is Robotropolis. Especially if Freedom Fighters were there to rescue her. I was begining to suspect that perhaps both of these people are from other Zones. I heard some of the other Freedom Fighters talking about those alternate dimensions, but I've seen one before.

Perhaps that strange light and the sensation I felt was caused by Robotnik's latest doomsday weapon... I was on my way to meet with the Knothole Freedom Fighters to help them with a major operation... What if Robotnik managed to activate his weapon? What if I was too late to be of any help? The thought was staggering. I blankly walked away from Saria and Chalk and sat down on a fallen tree stump in shock.

A massive feeling of guilt washed over me. I could have done... something. I felt sure of that. And now, I find out that here I've been lying unconscious for days after the fact like a useless lump. For all I know Robotnik has completely conquered the planet and all my friends and fellow Freedom Fighters are gone.

"Wait, you said you met other Freedom Fighters right!" I rather suddenly jumped up, remembering what both Saria and Chalk said.

RE: Releasing Pressure
"So I'm not the only one..."

Saria blurted out at the end of Chalk's story. She was kind of glad that she was not the only person that had come from somewhere else but in the same breath it made her feel a bit depressed as well, reminding her of the problems at hand. The deer jumped at the statement about the freedom fighters as if trying to make sure everything was alright.

"I was rescued by them about a week ago. I had broken every bone in my body, if they had found me in the forest. I'm pretty sure I would have died."

She was very sure she would have died if she had not gotten some attention and been brought to the hospital.
