[Tails]

Tails nods. "It is a little over the top, but there's really nothing we can do right now. I learned to go with the flow from you after all."

[Sonic]

He let out a small chuckle at the fox’s response.

“Yeah well, what can I say?” He replied, rubbing the back of his head. “It’s just who I am.” Putting his arm down and resting them on his torso he gained a more series look on his face.

“…but…I’m a bit concerned. I hope those guys who were fighting Eggman are okay.” He placed both of hands behind his back and he closed his eyes. “ That was way too close for even me! Not like I couldn’t dodge anything the Doc throws at me…but…” He let out a sigh.

“Eh, but it doesn’t matter now. Though I can’t help but wonder what that crackpot is up too…”

[Tails]

Tails listens to Sonic and wonders about Robotnik himself. He wonders what to say and it doesn't take him long with a response.

"Robotnik just got defeated from his near flawless plan and I'm sure he'll be dusting off his wounds for a little while. But I don't doubt that he's going onto another plan to make his kingdom, even as we speak. I don't know what he's up to, but I'm very sure its only a matter of time."

[Sonic]

“That’s how it always is.” He replied, somewhat dully. “Now, what to do next though…”

He placed his right fist up to his mouth and closed his eyes; in deep thought. Though, there wasn’t much time before his eyes shot open. He looked over towards Tails with a curious expression.

“Hey, buddy. Do you know where everyone else is?” He paused for a second before letting out a chuckle, “Besides Knuckle-head. He’s pretty much a given.”

[Tails]

Tails explains. "That's just it, I don't know where Knuckles is either. I don't think he's made it through the dimensional rift yet. So I guess the Master Emerald is sitting there with no one to guard it. If we go to the Master Emerald we can at least double check if Knuckles is safe. In fact, there might be an adventure in store for us. We may have to run though, the Tornado isn't exactly ready for flight yet. I'm worried about Knuckles. I know you say he's a Knuckle-head and that may true, but he's still our friend."

Tails continues after a short breath. "As for anyone else, I only came across three characters in the forest."

[Sonic]

“Who said I didn’t like him?” Sonic asked questionable, looking at Tails curious. “Anyway, I’m O-KAY with that! We’ll get there faster my way anyway! After all, I doubt Knuckles would be far away from the Master Emerald. Whatever this dimensional merge did, I doubt it left Knuckles out of the party! Just wouldn’t be the same…”

Tapping his foot against the ground, he gave Tails a happy smile.

[Tails]

"I'm so excited to see Knuckles. So let's go."

Tails exits into cross country.

“Right!”

Sonic grabbed onto Tails’s wrist quickly; and in two seconds flat he was racing off at the speed of sound.
