The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City

Qesun managed to down one of the suckers as he zipped through them. The other he'd missed just a small margin, shooting off one of its antennas instead of its head.

Neon was in luck this time. Two of the buzz bombers that closed in on him swerved and crashed into each other as they tried to avoid his attack. The third was more lucky, escaping from the attack and regrouping with the last two. The two started at Qesun and Neon but the last one remained behind for the moment.

Seizing the opportunity of Blaze's hesitance, the buzz bomber remaining charged at her, shooting rapidly.

At the gates, the men were shouting at each other. Orders were being distributed. Panicked young men and a few furries had long began readying their defenses as the group fought in the street. The real threat would be upon them soon.

The guard left behind could only watch half-aware. The turtle had managed to knock the wind out of him and recollecting his breath proved difficult. The turtle's captive himself would probably have been screaming, but the blood filling his throat kept him quiet. He choked on it, weezing and twisting futilely in the wretched creature's foul embrace.

As my energy replenished itself, I caught sight of the closest fight coming at its peak. The violet feline had just demolished one of the insectoid units but by whatever reason had left herself open to the second. My rational side was telling me not to get involved. I didn't have even half the fire power on me at the moment. She looked important though. Maybe if I would get on her good side...

I rushed in as I pulled my daggers, diving in behind the enemy that was currently focused on rendering the cat full of its volley of fire.

"shh shhh..." he used one of his hands to russ the forhead of his captive.
"Its alright... It'll only hurt for a second... I promise...." The blood was warm as it resided on his fingers. He let his wicked tounge rest along side his neck licking away the excess blood. With disgust, he slowly forgets the bitter taste of blood is not like how hers tasted. Sort of disgusted he dug his nails in deeper.

"Your bones are soo good.... I can feel them.

"That will work when the next wave comes. Hopefully. If its on the ground, we'll cover each other's backs." His strait face slides a bit towards a smile as the next comment comes to mind. "I'll try not to lose ya," QJ adds at the end, that smile turning into a slight smirk. He was about to shoot down the last bomber when someone else joined the frey, protecting the other cat that was here. 'Hey, that was my gig. Hero is supposed to save the princess.' QJ jokes in his own mind. The more realistic part of his brain was happy to get all the help they could muster, though. They were probably about to need it.
