RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Blaze watched the antics of Neon and Qesun with a tolerating gaze. She didn't care about their attempts nor their limited sucess. She cared even less for Neon's calls. Civilians shouldn't even be here; whether they were civilians or not hadn't even registered in her mind.
As the buzzbombers fired she pushed back, flipping right over and landing squarely back on her feet. Stretching her hand forwards she made a flicking motion with her fingers and caused a sudden eruption of the air around her [Flashover] hoping the sudden shock would knock the bombers back enough. She quickly rose her other hand, a bright ball of flame already present in her palm. She spread her fingers and pointed at one of the bombers. A sudden lance of flame sprung from her palm and head towards one of the bombers. |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Getting shot back at was hardly surprising, especially when you shot first. Didn't mean Qesun liked it, and he made his complaints known quickly. "Oh common!" he shouted just before rolling out of the way of the incoming attacks. "You're robots! No sense in getting your feelings hurt over being shot at! You're not even supposed to have those!" He ended the roll back in a crouch, and half-spun back up from it in a stance. This time, he focused on one buzz-bomber. They seemed to catch on quick, and he didn't want it to dodge out of the way this time, or at least not that easily. He fired the first shot to see if it would dodge again, and then fired the second when it did. He then turned his attention to the other one focused on him, knowing it'd make another run on him soon.

"I'm really sick of these things." Neon muttered. He sprang into the air, catching himself with a gust of wind. He floated there and swung down his arms quickly, shouting "Crash and burn!"
With the swinging of his arms, Neon commanded a gust of wind to slam two robots to the ground with his Wind Hammer attack from a distance. Bits and pieces of the 'bots flew through the air as the machines were crushed. "Want some more?" [Wind Hammer Charging] |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
[Ok with Yols out of it for now I guess that leaves me to take over here. Also little note for Neon, you only get one post in each round. There doesn't appear to be a set posting order which is ok but don't post twice before the reaction to your first post has been posted. Also, don't force hit, check the rules if you're unsure.]
Unluckily for Neon the bots had seen his jump and had scattered to the sides as he performed his attack. One still caught the edge of it though and half of it was smashed apart. This still left the other half for shoot back at his airbourne self as it tumbled to the ground. The other three came at him from various sides each firing in turn. For Qesun the double shot technique worked well and the buzzbombewr he had been aiming at jinxed out of the way of the first shot and straight into the second. It fizzled, sparked and then nose dived into the ground with a crunch. The other three surrounded him much like their bretheren were doing to Neon and fired from three different angles. The bots attacking Blaze were thrown back by the sudden burst of flames and a moment later the flame lance pierced one of the bots sending flaming fragments spiralling off in all directions. The second steadied itself and then resumed its firing. -------------------- The guard wasn't expecting the sudden kick and it caught him in the ribs before he could land an efficient strike. He fell over backwards landing on the floor with a thud. |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
The pounding of my boots on the pavement shortly fell as I rounded the last corner into an open plaza and paused just in time to see a shower of gears and shrapnel for guts raining down onto the pebble mosaic. I stood a moment just staring in awe as the fight progressed before me. What strange contraptions. Were those the SWAT bots he was talking about? I had a hard time believing in the threatening and menacing legacies they had left when I was staring at an oversized robotic hornet with big, goofy eyes. I pulled back to the corner of the building for the time being, hoping they hadn't spotted me. No matter how much they might have looked like toys, they were still putting me at a disadvantage with flying alone.
I closed my eyes and concentrated. [Warm Embrace] |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
((Well that's no good. Let's try to help reverse that flow.))
Down one, up two, and at three surrounding him. 'Well,' he started thinking to himself, 'No complaints here. I put myself here. Hope they're not too fast on the draw.' The toe of his shoes dug into the road and he took off, making speed towards the nearest facing 'exit' in between two buzz bombers, spinning and running backwards for a moment while aiming up at two different buzz bombers, taking a trio of pot-shots at each. Turning about again, putting foot to ground again, heading towards Neon. Perhaps if they were a little less 'individual' about this ordeal, they'd have a better chance of living. "Well, this is getting off to a great start. We need to work on this whole 'outnumbered' issue." he states out loud, more or less towards Blaze and Neon. |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
"Good thinking. I suggest we keep hammering at these things." Neon replied, jumping back, the shots fired from the three closing Buzzbombers scorching the ground where he once stood. As they all came together, Neon released the Wind Hammer on the group, hoping that he'd take all three, at such close range, out at once. Regardless of his success, the hedgehog found it a good idea to move towards his new 'friend', since the princess wasn't at all giving him any positive reactions.
"Guns work better on these things anyway. How about I provide cover while you do all of the fighting?" |

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
He was pleased. He sunk his dirty nails into the guard he kept in his arms, into his neck, While walking further into the alleyway not to be noticed. Figuring the other guard is too stunned to react after being kicked so sharply.
