He cricked his body back up quickly. Was his paranormal activity a ruse?

"Hello boys.." he coyly says holding their arms

"I suppose that's what would definitely help." Neon said, looking at Qesun, the breeze blowing around him now more of a gust. Off in the distance, dust could be seen swirling around near the robots. "Let's start off with the appetizer!"

Neon pushed forward with his arms, a powerful gust meeting the swarm of robots head-on.

He'd give them the tornado very soon now...

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
I made circles in the street as I turned, trying to recognize the sound while civilians around me panicked and fled. I could have sworn for a moment how similar it sounded to the footfalls of Draelorn in the rhythm of the sound, like the rickety tones of adorned armor. It almost felt as if... I were back home. But the white marble architecture encompassing my view for all that I could see told me different. Finally, I focused on the gate again, my ears having the chance to distinguish where the sound was coming from. Out in the distance, there were multiple gray figures marching across the plane. Sunlight glanced off them but there was something more off about the sound. It appeared... hollow.

"Aw, come on!"

My gaze flickered to actually focus on the fox that had been pestering me. His brow was rigid and his mouth formed a firm line.

"Why the sudden serious look on your face?

"Let's go."

He took me by the arm and I threw a slug at him again. This time, I nailed him square in the shoulder. His grip relaxed long enough for me to tear myself away from him while my other hand quickly unsheathed one of my daggers. I had it at his throat in seconds.

"Hey, why the vi'lence? I'm tryin' ta help ya out here. Those are swat bots out there! And as wild and voracious as ya may be, Athena, this is one battle not even ya could win."

"W-What the hell do you know?"

I lowered my dagger. There was no time to bother with this nonsense. For the moment, I felt almost powerless. I'd just sapped myself of what strength I could have had this morning. What did it matter to me... and... Wait, swat bots? Where had I heard that name before...

"Come on!"

This time, he didn't grab my arm, instead choosing to wave me off back in the direction of the central plaza. I shook my head and took a few steps forward his way... then spun on my toes and headed back towards the gate.

"Freak! Don't touch me!"

One of the guards pulled back and trained his rapier at the clearly tweaking turtle. The other froze at his touch though, his breath coming short at the vile feeling of the turtle's hand on his arm. He felt so violated and he didn't even know why.

"Get back!"

As Blaze, Neon, and Qesun reached the west gate, the first batch of buzz bombers had reached the city. A volley of shots followed in their wake. Two of the four guards at the gate were down in seconds. The other two pulled out laser pistols (assumed to be stolen technology from Robotnik) and fired away in retaliation. Their shots seemed inexperienced and inaccurate though and they managed to only take one of the dozen down as they passed over the gate and caught sight of the rest of the cavalry. The group fixed its volley on the gathered defenders and fired away.

And now it was ready. Neon released a tornado right into the middle of the robot swarm, its swirling winds forming a funnel from the clouds in the sky.

Neon was rotating his arm in the air to match the tornado's spin as it sucked in one, two, four... at least five had already been sucked into the tornado and were being tossed around like rag dolls. Neon grinned as one was thrown out of the top of the whirlwind and crashed to the ground. It wouldn't be coming back.

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
He let off a light flourish of his pistols, a far more dangerous looking thing considering each one was bladed. With it, he shifted his stance, aiming upwards at the buzz-bombers. He watched for a moment as the guards tried their best, their inexperience showing painfully. For a second, he contemplated showing them a few tips later, if they survived.

*CRACK!*

His concentration shifted back to the buzzers as one began a strafing run at him. He shifted his stance again, narrowly slipping past the incoming shots before whipping the pistol in his right hand back around. His aim followed his arm up past the weapon and to the mechanical menace, right to the base of its back where its right wing met its back.

*BANG!*

He let off one shot before shifting again to aim at the ones ahead. He eyed his next target, the head of another buzz bomber. The weapon in his left hand shifted its aim and fired with another bang. Keeping in stance, he picked out another and fired again. While not exactly fast at it, he tried his best to make each one count before letting it loose into the air. He fired one more at another buzz bomber, trying to make sure to cover Blaze and Neon as well as himself.

with his hand on his shoulder he quickly switches his grip on their neck, pressing tightly, not enough to strangle the gentlemen but enough to startle him.

"Shall we dance?" He pushes the guard into the wall and proceeds to bash his skull into theirs to attempt in stunning him

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Unfortunately for Neon, he would not be as conveniently fortunate as he had been in the previous encounter. The four remaining buzz bombers caught in the tornado continued to fire, but their shots were random at best. One of their shots planted on the pediment of the building next to him as it flew out of the funnel and back over the gate. Pieces of prized marble sculpture rained down on the hedgehog. He would have to move unless he felt like becoming a hedgehog pancake. Ridiculous super powers not included, kids. Like batteries. What a cheat.

The first buzz bomber that Qesun hit erupted in flames on the stone roadway only several feet away from him. The second practically recoiled before looping around with a missing eye now evident. The third and fourth were more lucky to see their brethren attacked and had managed to evade the shots. They responded by targeting him in specific and firing away.

[Qesun, Qesun. One too many actions in one post, man. You know your stuff. Live up to it.]

In the meantime, two had taken to heading Blaze's way, firing at her in rapid succession. A remaining buzz bomber did the same to Neon.

The guard with the rapier stood at the scene, looking positively shell shocked at what was taking place before him. The mad artist's victim hadn't the chance to respond to the current threat at hand before his head was meeting the marble wall of the alley way. Pain quickly took its tool on him.

"Lay off him!"

The other guard finally snapped out of his trance and thrust at the turtle with his weapon.

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Neon's concentration cut out as he dodged the falling marble, causing the tornado to stop. As he dodged the marble chunks, the attacks from the Buzzbomber also missed, turning the marble chunks into blasted marble chunks. In fact, a few of these hit Neon, and he stumbled as he tried to get back up.

"Dammit! Blaze, any time would be helpful!" Neon grumbled, now back on his feet. He paused for a moment, conjuring wind for a Wind Hammer to be. [Charging]

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
[Little tip Neon. In battle there is a posting order. Please don't go post crazy. Refer to the rules section for more info on this.

PS: I'll post as Blaze tonight when I actually have time to do so.]
