The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Neon raced around the corners of the alley, not activating his sliding shoes so that he could better be hidden... though the alleys were still echoing with his footsteps. The Wind Fighter sensed that man ahead, and he ran right for him.

He was now at the same place he had been before, where the man's shack had been. That was clever, but I'm not out of the game yet.

"Nice try, but I've been around the block more than once!" Neon shouted, giving chase.

"Good sir what are you talking for?" He held a bag of trash with him. "Can't i take care of my own goddamn garbage before you question me?"

"How about you open the bag first." Neon said. "Frankly, I don't trust you, and I'm not letting you leave if I want the Council to handle you."

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
"Rampaging robots in Soleana? Not likely...no reports...no nothing...yet here they are..."

Blaze stood in the middle of a pack of destroyed Robots. She didn't recognise the design not that it would have been easy to identify them though...the pieces were everywhere. She knelt down to pick a piece up before throwing it away to the side. What had happened here?

As she stood up her ears flicked backwards catching the sound of approaching footsteps. She turned towards it as two city guards slowed to a stop near to her. "Miss Blaze!"

Blaze answered then with a nod and a quizickle look.

"Miss Blaze we've had some disturbing news," one of them said after a moment. "We received word from a citizen that he'd found a double murder but took off before we could get any further details."

"A double murder? In Soleana?" replied Blaze with a hint of surprise in her voice. "Show me!"

Before long Blaze had been shown to the location where the individual had last been seen and was being directed in the direction of the alley he had fled down. It didn't take Blaze long to find the two dead furs. She snapped her fingers, a bright flame springing into life in her hand and illuminating the alley.

Raising her other hand she stopped the guards behind her from moving and then cast her gaze over the bodies. They were recent. Tilting her head to the side slightly she caught the sound of voices on the air in the distance as they echoed down the alley.

"Stay here and see to these, I'm going to investigate further," she said slowly and then stepped forwards down the alley.

She didn't hurry, uning her feline grace to tiptoe down the alley silently as she tracked the source of the voices.

A motorbike sat and purred there as Qesun looked at what was on the ground, right at the entrance of the city he lived in now. Shattered automatons, the calling cards of the twisted man who now held his home in his grip. This would more then likely have the news crews all kinds of riled up later.

He looked up from there and saw the gaggle of guards not much farther down, just as a purple cat ran into the alley ways. A quick rev of the motor and he was coasting over to the guards to see what was up. "What's going on."

Some of the guards turned to look at Qesun. A few moments later and one was stepping up. "It's no concern. The Guard is on the case. Move along."

Of course, while Qesun was being told to move along, he was looking over them all by standing up on his bike. Which only resulted in seeing the bloody mess over there. "Mad Midget Maidens," is all Qesun could say without using strait expletives. "Did that one girl go in alone?"

"Yes--" It was all that could be said by the guards before Qesun reacted. Not knowing that either Neon was down there or who Blaze was, all he could see was that one individual who, while was a trained Guard of Soleana, was on her own hunting for a murderer of all things. Before anything else could be said, he strait leaped over the guards and headed down the alley as well. If they wouldn't accompany her, he would. Of course, he also missed the fact that she'd ordered them to stay behind, but that was water under a bridge at this point, as he wasn't stopping for any of their protests against his actions.

Neon's ear twitched. His Wind Sense had picked up another being!

...And Fire? The Wind Sense had picked up fire? Must have been a torch or something. The guards must be following and investigating.

"Bad news for you! If you're as guilty as I think you are, you don't want to deal with the back-up coming in!" Neon shouted, smirking. "Now, please, open the bag!"

"You know, I am reaaallly tired of your Acqusations." He growls, ripping open the bag, clothes, paints, many bottles of medicine(empty) canvases with scribbled paint works on them, and food scraps came out of the bag. Perhaps this was the junk he picked up out of the dumpster just now

"Garbage see? Non? Now k-kindky gett Loost!" Pushing his way past the hedgehog back the way he came

"I'm not getting lost until you stay put, sir." Neon growled, releasing a gust of wind to keep the man away from him. "You're the closest to these murders, and even if I couldn't get information from you, someone else can. Now, I suggest you either start talking, or I will keep you here so you can sing to someone else."

His hands were now up, ready as if for a fight. Neon was getting a very odd vibe about this man now, if he hadn't already before, and he wanted to know more.

RE: The Golden Gates: Entrance to the City
Blaze rounded the next few corners the voices grew louder and she begun to pick up on the conversation. Shouts and cries and harsh words being spoken. She quickly raised her other hand and sparked a flame into life before wrapping it around her hand.

Stepping around the final corner she stepped out into view ahead of the arguing pair. For a moment she didn't speak, just surveyed them, and let the flames in her palms ignite fully. The alley lit up with a bright red flash as Blaze's arms were wreathed in flame. [Fire Pact Activated]

"Alright hold it both of you! By the power vested in me by the Soleana Council I'm placing you both in custody on suspicion of murder. Come quietly and nobody has to get hurt." Her gaze narrowed. It was obvious from her pose that she wasn't bluffing, Blaze was never that subtle.
