Metallix
Name: Metal Sonic, Codename "Metallix", Number BMS10034-1
Age: 5 years since first activation Sex: Mentally, male. Actual, none. Species: Robot Appearance: Initially, you would think Metallix is a darker blue version of our favourite blue blur, Sonic The Hedgehog. Then you would notice the eyes are larger, and are red set onto a black background. A red ring for each eye, that glows upon intensity of its purpose. His muzzle is not bronzed flesh like his counterpart, instead it - and his other limbs - are shiny, stainless steel. Unpainted, and untreated except for a bit of polish perhaps. At the tip is a sharp pointed nose. His head also comprises three metal, pointed spines. They are flush fitted to the round ball that is his head, and serve to aid with the impersonation of Sonic. Moving down to his torso, and another 'round ball' is used as the basis for the fittings here. Front centre is a large air intake, which can be sealed off for travelling within a vacuum. Another seamless welding job has been made of the rear heat deflectors - large in size again, because on his back is a large thruster. This is the main method used for movement, and the deflectors serve not only to remove heat from the area, but also to aid aerodynamics and focus the thrust from the propulsion system into something more purposeful. His arms are in proportion to the rest of his body, and are formed with stability and balance in mind, as also being the home for the deadly hands - a 'thumb' and four 'fingers', which are finely pointed and ready to make kebabs out of body organs. The arms aid balance, and also help manoeverability once in the air. . Lower down, the legs are also - a common theme with this Metal Sonic it would seem - aerodynamically sculpted, all designed with the pure thought of outracing Sonic and ultimately destroying him. At the bottom are two feet - red with a white horizontal stripe, each housing two minature thrusters, to aid with manoeverability more than outright speed. After Metallix got deconstructed at a subatomic level and teleported down to the planet's surface, his reconstruction at the destination left him physically altered. The nanites still within his system combined with the molecular deconstruction and make some alterations to his appearance. The first difference is that instead of being a navy blue, Metallix is now a rich, vibrant shade of blue no longer metallic in hue and instead having the look of a deep, glossy paint. The "round-ball-and-spikes" head is now more moulded, and instead of three spikes it has five - the two on the side of its head have split into two, and the combined look has a near-enough star effect when viewed from the front. Running down each of these spikes is a single white stripe, with what looks like an arrow at the tip. The eyes and muzzle are now more aggressively styled, and the mouth area in particular is interesting - it appears to be made out of some kind of liquid metal now, giving Metallix a fully functioning mouth. However this is still as cold as any other surface metal on his body and chassis, and is a part of his humanity coming to the surface through the transformation. The torso is slightly smaller, with the same intake and thruster combination installed upon it but in a smaller space, as a frustrated Metallix made space on the ARK for such a shrinking(without realising, however) by removing the unnecessary components from his chassis.. The shoulder pads are much larger, but are no more effective than the previous items. They are also painted a matt black. Completing the torso is what looks like an armour plate coming down from the bottom of the front of the torso but serves no real purpose as it protects nothing, and a long flowing sarong, black in colour, on the back attaching itself to his hips. At the ends of the shoulders are much larger forearms, looking like they are incorporated into the hands as an integral unit. The fingers are now flexible items, as opposed to the previous spikes - he loses the spikes, but gains a much more human hand in return. The legs now incorporate more naturally-jointed knees, with slight give from side to side, as opposed to Metallix's previously hinged joints. The leg units are flared out from the knees down and have an edging on them similar to the white striping on the spikes on his head. The knees have large spikes on them now, but to use them would be utterly pointless as they are an integral part of the knee, and no more reenforced or armoured than the rest of his armour. In other words he can't run the risk of using them in case it damages the knee they cover. Finally, the boots on the bottom. They curve upwards to resemble what could only be described as elfen footwear. They have the white striping in a horizontal fashion, the same as previously seen on Metallix's plain and dull clogs. Personality: As a robot, Metallix should have no personality, other than thinking things through logically, and being cold, ruthless and efficient in achieving his set goals. However, ever since being repaired with a technology Robotnik called "nanites", a bizarre change has occured in the Greatest and Most Unique Metal Sonic - he began to feel. He is quick to anger, and also has a soft spot for a young girl called Rose Fox, as she - unintentionally, it should be noted - started him off down the path of exploring his emotions. A streak for revenge has also been uncovered, along with a dark hatred for freedom and all Sonic stands for. Family: At the top you have Doctor Robotnik - his 'father', as it were. There are numerous Metal Sonics, most notably the original from the Death Egg, the version that ran on emerald energy, and the Metal Overlord. There are also countless hundreds - if not thousands - of badniks that could also be considered family, but his real family would be the brotherhood of Metal Sonics created by the good doctor. Transport: Was granted the use of a small transport shuttle when on a mission to claim the Time Stones, and never really bothered to give it back. He dubbed it The Retribution and it can carry a pilot, Metallix and his elite squad of six Type-B SWATbots, but that's about it. Biography: The first Metal Sonic had been destroyed aboard the first Death Egg, and Robotnik wasn't best pleased that his efforts had been brushed aside so easily. Another idea was needed, and so he looked to the Little Planet and the Time Stones. He needed an assistant to help him gather the Stones together, something faster than he'd ever created before. It then struck him - to be faster than Sonic, he had to imitate it with more than appearance. And so "Metallix" was born - at the time he was top of the range, high-spec everything. He was the ultimate Sonic, and Robotnik was confident of a victory this time around. Sonic ultimately beat Metallix to the collection of the Time Stones, but not before Robotnik had gained a couple and altered the planet by placing numerous Badnik Generators around in the planet's past. He also ordered his newest badnik - Metallix - to capture Amy Rose, and thus lure Sonic into a race. A race different from normal. The loser would perish, as Robotnik would be following with a death ray bolted to his egg-o-matic. Surprisingly, Metallix lost. Sonic had a determination within him to rescue Amy - not because he liked her, but because it was his fault she was involved. He ended up with a stalker, Metallix ended up on the scrap heap. Or so you'd think. Robotnik was angered that his latest plan had failed - not just the Metallix Project, but the whole operation on the Little Planet. Gathering the mashed up pieces of his prize robot, he found the only part that could be reused was the black box - the all-important part that was effectively the robot's memory. The doctor hit upon a brilliant idea - to reuse the black box inside an identical-looking chassis - identical in looks, but vastly uprated, this time to be the ultimate hedgehog hunter. He added not only uprated armour, but new toys everywhere - and still kept a hold of all the old weaponry, such as the electricity field. His plan was simple enough - thinking back to Sonic's sheer push to rescue an innocent, Ivo hoped to use Metallix's original memories as leverage; to remind the robot that he had been defeated once, and that failure was not an option. In tandem, Robotnik had finally finished the manufacturing of a new technology - nanomachines. These were only able to repair items - not redesign them from a molecular level - and could only work in a special fluid currently, so limiting the range of their useage outside of the laboratory. They could still be used to fix up his newest creation, so placing the new Metallix inside a holding cylinder at his Mystic Ruins base, he filled it with the fluid containing the nanites, and left them to the repair job. Before he could even contemplate reusing his pride and joy, Sonic had come along and destroyed his newest base of operations. Robotnik abandoned ship, thinking all within was lost - including his latest Metal Sonic project... Three years had passed since the original deactivation of Metallix, and a further two since the Mystic Ruins base had been destroyed and declared unsafe for the scientists to work in. Now, those two years later, the scientists were told the site was now safe to return to, but not to venture too close to the cliff. One disobeyed the rules, throwing a harmless stone into the pile of concrete and rubble that was formerly known as the Mystic Ruins base. This little stone knocked into a delicately balanced larger rock, and this into another... the chain reaction caused a huge tipping of rocks, and a huge cloud of dust. Somehow, amongst the chaos, the Metal Sonic had been reactivated. Emerging from the debris, Metallix set about his new targets with a passion. He wanted to know where he was, when he was, and where the hedgehog was. He received satisfactory answers, apart from the one about the hedgehog - a scientist told him there were now two supersonic hedgehogs running around! To ensure his return was kept a secret, Metallix butchered the entire research team, before flying off, searching for a safe place to perform a systems analysis. Scanning his updated maps, he discovered the Scrap Brain zone, on South Island, was currently disused. Sonic would not be passing through there, so that's where he went. After a safe journey, Metallix powered down all unnecessary systems whilst his CPu ran the full systems analysis... he was shocked to see that his weaponry had been upgraded significantly, as well as his armour... in fact, he felt like a completely new robot. It was time to return home, to find out why Robotnik had destroyed him, and subsequentially repaired him. But before he could do that, a timely reminder as to his return. A G.U.N. cruise ship was passing beneath him, so he decided to make his presence known - by literally dropping in on the ship. However on the way through all present G.U.N. forces opened fire upon him, damaging his visual systems and scrambling his gyroscope. Finding a safe place to reboot his visual circuits, Metallix then went on another bloody rampage, on his way back out through the hole he came in. Flying high, he left a message for the media present - "Tell Sonic The Hedgehog - Watch His Back." And with that he set off to return to Robotnik's newest base, following a beacon installed within him. He eventually arrived at Robotnik Island, and was directed towards a transport pod, which had been sent out to collect him. He was soon placed into another vat of nanites, to repair him. However, five years of development on the nanomachines meant that they were capable of turning lead into gold, amongst other things. In Metallix's case, they somehow converted the electron trails in his cables into a kind of hormone - still able to flow throughout his body, yet giving him feelings - the side effect of hormones. For the first time in five years, Metallix came face to face with his creator - Doctor Robotnik. He asked why he was destroyed, and why he had been given a second chance. Some unsatisfactory answers were given, before Metallix was issued with another task - to aid his newest assistant with sourcing the Time Stones. Metallix froze, aware that these gems were his undoing before. A few minutes later, and Metallix knew the location of the precious jewels. He was instructed to board a transport vessel, and was issued with a squad of nimble, fast type-B SWATbots as an escort for himself and a stealth bot, designed to carry the stones safely. Rose Fox was on hand to offer assistance from the base, hacking into numerous doors to allow them access to the Time Stones. Soon enough the Time Stones had been retrieved. The stealth bot sprouted jets, and flew in a straight line towards the troup's next destination - Never Lake. Metallix wasn't looking forward to it... Soon enough they got there, and met up with the doctor, Rose, and a wolf called Dakoter. They wereall given a new task - to defend the doctor whilst he activated a time machine - the aim being to go into the past to eliminate Sonic as a whelp. Metallix - now beginning to realise something was wrong with him - got aggrevated, and yelled at the doctor - if Sonic was dead, there would be no need for a metal replica! He feared for his own existence. Robotnik snapped him out of it, by reassuring him that only Sonic would be removed - everything else would remain the same. And so battle was joined - Sonic and Metallix went head to head, Rose tried hacking Tails' Tornado, and Dakoter was the last line of defense against Mighty the armadillo and Billy Walker. Eventually, evil - for the first time in a while, it should be mentioned - triumphed, the doctor disappearing in a blaze of light. Metallix didn't notice this as he had powered down mysteriously - and his 'mind' was still active. Something had gone amiss. Some time passed before he roused. Wanting to know more, he went back to his shuttle, and returned to Robotnik Island. Rose Fox's robots followed however, and without realising, helped him come to terms with his new emotional issues. Skills: Combat Master Designed primarily for combatting Sonic, Metallix is a formidable foe. For any opponent. Electric shield - Metallix charges up a field of electricity aroundabouts three(3) metres around him, disabling robots and harming biological metter if touched. It takes a turn to charge up, and restricts his movement for as long as it is active by keeping him at a walking pace. Torpedo - Flicking on his forcefield, Metallix flys fast and low, straight into his opponents. Is set up in one turn, and lasts for one turn. Fury Swipes - Using his clawed fingers, Metallix lashes out extremely quickly, tips first, to strike and slash his opponent. He cannot perform this move whilst moving however. Suplex - grabbing hold of his opponent extremely tightly, Metallix bursts into the air before slamming them head first into the ground. The problem with this move is he is just as likely to harm himself as he is his opponent, even thought Metallix would have practiced this during many simulations. Other skills: None. Metallix is, quite simply, a killing machine. Strengths: Once focussed on a task, will stop at nothing to complete it - he is extremely hard to distract once he gets going. Is capable of making his own decisions, without having to wait for Dr. Robotnik's orders - so long as it goes towards furthering his goal of destroying the hedgehog. Isn't any weaker to lightning magic than other magics, as he is specially insulated enough to utilise electricity with one of his moves. This doesn't render him immune however. Weaknesses: The newfound emotion issue confuses and conflicts with his logical AI systems, causing shutdown sometimes. Is too ignorant once concentrating on a task. Fears destruction by Robotnik once again, and thus tries too hard sometimes. Is prone to magic as per other robots. When in combat and has analysed combat routines of opponents, he finds it difficult to adjust to a changing of tactics by the opponent. |

RE: Metallix
You might want to note his reaction to the sudden world rape this round has. Other than that, I'm assuming everything is pretty much the same, right?

RE: Metallix
Ah yes, I'd forgotten that this was a c/p job. I'll repair the history, don'tcha worry
other than that, everything else is the same. Might edit the appearance too, but apart from that it's all the same.
