About Sonic Aftermath

Sonic Aftermath plays uniquely as Sonic RPGs go. Whilst many out there are set in a single topic started by a player with a single story arc in mind where others may gather to follow it as they wish, Aftermath takes those topics and interlocks them all together into one globalized world. In that essence, everything that occurs in those topics is deemed as "canon" as some might say.

Of course, with this breeds cause and effect. Say, some time in this RPG Chaos flooded Station Square again. Unless the other characters in the city are on high ground, they better think fast and find a means of safety or they'll be swimming with the fishes. An hour later, someone living in Radical City hears from the radio about the flood. They panic and start over where they run into people who also heard about the incident from different areas and wanted to help out in the cause. This is that global ripple.

As you can see anything that happens in one topic affects all the other topics currently running in one way or another. This does not allow characters in one topic to know what is occuring in another however. They must either investigate or be apart of the topic in question to know about what is happening unless the event is big enough that it would affect other topics. In this case the player who initiated the event should post an appropriate effect in other topics.

This concept is undoubtably new to some players and can be a little difficult to understand at first. If you have any big issues please contact the staff and we will do our best to help you.
