I haven't been on in a long time, so I'm kinda behind on current events. Recent personal problems have given me a different outlook on life and thus I have completely revamped Sonno.

In short, I welcome the restart.

This makes me smile. With this, Qesun is probably not going to be the first character I put up. Rather, I have someone else in mind, who has already been involved in a faction system. He got left to the wayside. It'll be good to get to toss him into the mix again. =3

Not long now til the restart kicks off. Anyone thinking of altering their characters at all, or introducing new ones?

Nail (the character, not me) is going away. I think in the last round, I more or less completed his story and I feel like there's no more tales left to tell.

My main candidate for this round is Gail Strafer. This is Nail's father, except I would play him as a teenager or a young adult. Some have asked me if I would play as one of Nail's children, but I thought no. Gail is much better defined as a character than they are, so I have a better idea of what I would do with him.

I did enjoy playing Sly, although without his own faction I'm not sure what I'd do with him. To me, the most interesting thing about him was how he ran F4.

There's also a young cat thief character I made years ago but never used. His old name was Varas Greeger but I think I'll change it now. His backstory is that he and his parents did a traveling acrobatics show, but eventually Varas gets bored and leaves and turns to crime. He would use his acrobatics and parkour to access high places that most people think would be secure from thieves (like penthouses and such).

He also looks very young for his age. At first glance you would think he is a teen but he's actually a much more disciplined and intelligent young adult. He uses this to make people think he's nothing but a naive and foolish kid, so they underestimate him.

Ah-haha.

I'm actually dropping all my old characters. Most of them had a good run and it's just time to let go. Jodie was getting somewhere, but I feel like the further I went with her, the more I deviated from her true character. She's honestly a lot more fun than I've played her out to be on here, but then, if you were put in the situations I tossed her in for the heck of it, it makes sense that there would be a change.

Amy's grown on me a lot these past four years, but I don't think it's fair for me to hold her role forever, so she's going to be dropped, too. I have to say though. I probably had the most fun with here considering the large variety of people I worked with as her. I will definitely miss that aspect to her. I would not mind roleplaying with those people again.

Tallulah I feel a bit sad to let go of only because she was just starting out, but I could always bring her back. At this point though, I feel like I brought her in undeveloped and it's frustrating me. XD; Maybe it's just because she honestly isn't very villainous. No matter how much I try. Although she does have her points... Unfortunately, they were never brought up.

That essay over, I will be bringing in two old faces from the first round in re-hashed form and one new one that some may recognize from a short-lived GURPs session. =B More when the round opens.
