Well, this certainly sounds interesting. ......"Wait a sec... Dan Dark?! I thought he died or..something..." No, I'm still...around (and still on the mailing list, it seems XP), just haven't been as active online in general since I went and..erm..disappeared a while ago. Which I feel I owe everyone here, Jodie and the other staff especially, an apology for. I was getting a bit bored, which might be understandable enough, but, instead of saying something, logic completely [i]failed[i/] me, and I went and vanished. And being the procrastinator I am sometimes, a couple days turned into a couple weeks turned into.. eh... and..yeah... ...but, well, hopefully that can just be left in the past and move on. <<;;

All that said, then, I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on developments here; I'm curious what sort of things will be possible in the new system. That doesn't mean I will be returning (and I wouldn't intend to apply for staff if I do; I had that chance before and pretty much blew it, so...wouldn't be fair to anyone to go through that again, I don't think), but, I think part of the reason I lost interest before was because I was playing a character that had been modified to fit within the rules as they existed when I joined, rather than the character I might've truly wanted to play. Doesn't guarantee I'll be able to play that character this time, either, really, but, hey, a guy can hope, right? XD;..

So, yeah. I'm interested to see what happens, and what possibilities are opened up. After all, the time I spent here was undeniably enjoyable. That said, even if I don't come back, I hope this works out alright, everything goes smoothly, and, most important, that everyone has fun. ^^;;..

I wouldn't worry Dan, there'll be a lot more options this time round. I'm gonna start giving sneak peeks at various things as we get closer to the time. Right now we're looking at a 'restart by New Years at the latest' kinda time frame. Honestly though if people want it we'll work to a closer time and I wouldn't mind getting the new ball rolling earlier too. What do you guys think?

I agree with getting things going now.

New Years doesn't really work for me... Remember last year when I warned I'd be really busy with a system rollout at work? Well...yup...that time is almost upon me again. The company will basically own my soul for all of January.

I think a reset will suit me nicely actually. I have new ideas for Tut i've been wanting to impliment. (Then again, I ALWAYS have new ideas. XD )

I agree with Nail. If you're going to do a restart, get it out of the way and done with.

Jav, if you're going to restart your character then I'll hold off on posting with Quartz for a while, we'll talk about your plans on MSN if you want Big Grin

Hey all,

Some of you may remember me or not. Last time I was on here I just vanished because graduation and everything else took center stage and Aftermath was put on the back burner in my mind :/ I really think a restart would do us all good. I'd love to tweak Roxie again and this time, to actually be here from the beginning of the restart instead of jumping in after a while. <3 I'm really excited for this

@ Roxie: =B Welcome back, you punk.

As for the restart to be implemented, we were -originally- going to have the full details released in November and then perform the restart at the beginning of December. That would give people a month to wrap up as they would like and it would also permit a month for people to prep for the restart with profile creation/alternations/whatever. I don't know how everyone would feel about that. It is right before the holiday season really kicks in, so it might be bad timing.

My thinking about holding off on Quartz until Jav is ready got me thinking... won't other people be thinking about backing off on starting any new plot? This could have a negative effect on the forum's already lax activity until the restart is in effect, because we all know how popular this OOC section is Wink

So far it seems we got a general feel of people wanting to get the restart started and done with before the holidays. I have to say I wouldn't mind seeing it before the holiday as well and maybe I can get some fresh 'plot' in.
