Taken from http://www.pistonheads.com:

Quote:Bugatti's new supercar saloon concept has finally been revealed - and will go on show at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new car's name is Galibier, an Alpine pass on the Tour de France route.

The two-tone body shell continues the styling theme established by the Veyron, and in show form, it makes extensive use of polished aluminium and carbonfibre. The new car's engine is said to be a retuned version of the Veyron's 1001bhp W16 powerplant, although it is now mounted up front

Thoughts? I personally think it's butt-ugly and is just riding the back of the Veyron's success. Hardly an ideal follow-up to the greatest engineering piece of automotive history of all time - to date...

It reminds me of those cars you'd see in mobster movies...the ones set in the 1920s and 30s. Apart from the rims I think it looks rather classy, because of that.

I see a kind of semblance... you have a good eye for this kinda thing man. But it doesn't change the fact that it's butt-ugly and will only sell thanks to the Veyron.

RE: New Bugatti Saloon
All cars look alike to me so I don't really know, however the second car you posted looks rather classy, but it porbably has horrid gas mileage. If I were to get a car again, it would probably be the 1969 SS Camaro that I have in my "Fox Series" books. It's going to be featured in the second book called "Dark Fox" and it's going to be in one of the craziest chase scenes ever written. At least by my standards it will be.

The 1969 SS Camaro, the fox of all cars.

RE: New Bugatti Saloon
The second car I posted was a 1920's Skoda, and a very similar if not identical style of car was used in Chicago by the mobs. It probably would have insanely bad mileage, but nowhere near as bad as a modern sports car I'd imagine Smile

'69 SS? Nice choice.
