Landing Party
Roxanna stood looking at a large holomap that filled a majority of the cargo bay. The transport was currently flying low and fast as it approached the coastline that Station Square sat on. It was now a little over half an Earth hour since Sarath's transport had split company and headed for its own destination and Roxanna was now totally focussed on her own goal.

Tanya sat nearby; glancing at the map from time to time but seemingly more interested in the various sparks she was making fly from her palms as she hit one against the other. Roxanna was looking at a secton of the map to the south of Station Square, a large forest. It seemed to be the best place to set down, both isolated and suitable for landing and hiding a craft in.

"I would say this clearing here looks the most promising for landing," she stated to no-one inparticular, "Providing we can land without being noticed that is. Wouldn't you agree Tallulah?"

RE: Landing Party
I followed the dot on the map with my eyes a moment longer. We were closing in on the city. It wouldn't be long before the real test began. I could feel unease string my heart.

"Wouldn't you agree, Tallulah?"

It almost hurt to breath. Everything fell into my claws so early. Before, everything seemed fine. I had a lot of work and things to consider and adjust. Plan. Now, with my mind freed up from its previous constraints, I found myself hurtling into uncharted territory where a single knot in the plan could cost us heavily. We didn't have the backing anymore. My focus returned. Fortunately for me, Station Square was generally familiar now; it was the leading that I wasn't comforted about.

"There are no notable towns in this area if I read right. This forest was preserved eight Earthen years ago. It is said to be a memorial now for the 'Chaos Incident' victims."

I touched the holopad nearby and pulled up an article. The first thing that came up was an image of the offending creature followed by lines of text translated into Mianolian. I flickered through a couple more articles until I came to one on the park.

"We'll have to touch down with precision. But we should be all right."

RE: Landing Party
Roxanna gave a small nod tapped a small metal chip just inside her ear. "Bring us in on the assigned co-ordinates. I want no mistakes." She paused for a moment as if listening and then looked back at Tallulah. "We'll be there in a few moments, heretake this."

Roxanna held out her paw, a small metal chip visible in the centre of her pad. "I don't plan on seperating unless necessary but if that time comes this will allow us to keep in touch. Just place it inside your ear. And don't worry, its completely harmless...I know you have a dislike of advanced technologies."

Just then a loud snore filled the cargo hold. Roxanna scowled slightly, glancing across at the sleeping form of Tanya. The mink was resting on top of a nearby box, laid out on her back with each of her limbs dangling over the edge. How anyone could sleep in this ship, nevermind in the position she was in was beyond the panther. Shaking her head she looked away.

RE: Landing Party
I hesitated. Then picked up the chip delicately between two extracted claws. For a moment, I observed it with a furrowed brow before I lodged it carefully in my left ear. Almost instantly, I heard a hissing noise from it before it went quiet. I didn't know what to make of it, but it didn't bother me enough to question. There were more important things on hand.

I watched us drawing closer to our drop point. It wouldn't be long now. It was questionable how successful we would be. Tanya certainly seemed like a perishable asset to our group, but I neither voiced or hinted my claim.

[Note: Most of my characters are right-handed. Tallulah seems to be one of the exceptions.]
