I'm sure I could think of more things. My focus has just been everywhere lately. What else... You wanted to do that podcast Halloween and involve all the Sonic communities in it (which I'm sure some members would be itching to get their voice out there). Rose wants to do that story time deal which could be exceptionally hilarious. It might be cute to even have a game where people roleplay characters of other roleplayers (It would get people to do their read up on other people's profiles. ;P)

It would be fun to do game nights again, too. We did PSO for a little while and Viper tried to revive GURPs. Sometimes I don't think it's that we don't have fun community ideas. People who organize them just don't get enough support or just don't have the initiative to keep at them.

Well I think across three or four boards, I've had about... 5 people say yes, they'd like to listen to a live radio broadcast. So I'm probably canning that and sticking to the format that works...

Thinking of which I had an idea at work - what if I were to introduce my MoDCast here? For those who aren't aware, my MSN/other forums name is Master of Darkness, and MoDCast is well... a podcast. You lot could probably blag it as a Metal-odcast.
Anyways, my podcast is reasonably successful and has a fair few regular listeners. The next proper episode is due to be 007(got a music special and the Halloween edition to put out first) and I'll include some content on there about Aftermath-specific stuff - on a regular basis. So if anyone's got anything they want putting out there, send me a PM over on the Metallix account. Fingers crossed this brings this place some more activity, and gives those already here a reason to be involved with something.

TADAH WHAT A GREAT IDEA And if anyone wanted to be a guest on the show, I'd be happy to accept any applications - also at the Metallix address. I'd be needing a reason for you being on the show, for example so you can plug some project of yours. In the past we've had the hostess of the Sig Of The Week come on, a roleplay moderator discussing a now-finally-running tournament, an admin revealing plans for the future direction of her site, another admin is lined up for 007 to promote a Youtube project he's working on... the possibilities are endless.
And if you're sat there thinking "AW BUT I HAZ NO REASON TO BE ON DAT SHOW" then, well... get creative dammit, and make a reason to be on it! MoDCast provides interactivity with others on your forum, but only if you want to be a part of that interactivity!

If my previous suggestion has been largely ignored(read: ain't been online to read it and thus proved my point) then this one should go down well with everybody. I could keep this exclusive to the one site, but if it can be of some sort of benefit here then it'd be foolish to not capitalise on that!

Essentially. I think someone's gotta get this ball of activity rolling, it'd be a simple matter to add another forum into the light-hearted entertainment I supply. Usual format is a brief bit of news, interview a guest, talk about some random Sonic subject, and then just go completely off on a tangent - the last MoDCast for example, we were trying to convince the masses that buying a Neo Geo WILL GUARANTEE ladies on your front door. All this is broken up with breaks for music, each 'cast lasts anything from half hour to our current record, 2 hours XD

I'll make a separate thread for this, as we're going off-topic here.

Hmm...what kind of YouTube project?

It's just that I have a big project where I'm doing a video diary type thing of my latest run through Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3. Working on Part 12 right now (with each segment about 10 minutes). I'm doing it because it's one of my all time favorite racers, and I wanna share it with others, since it's a pretty unknown game.

I don't think I'll be able to participate in this, just like I won't be able to participate in the Story time with rose thing. It isn't because I'm busy, although I would say I'm busy with books - both reading and writing them, it's because I don't have a microphone that I know for a fact actually works, at least on the computer I use for the internet and type with. It's also because I don't have an ipod or whatever it is I need.

I'm a writer, so I need to save my money to get pens and notebooks... I can't just go out and buy something that costs $600. And plus I know for a fact that I wouldn't use it anyway. I'm too busy trying to write, I don't necessarily have time to dwelve into new technology that I know I won't use.

Being the case that I want to write for a living, I would like more people to look at the fictions on the site, instead of the pictures. I know it's harder for the human brain to take in words rather than pictures, but I noticed something on one of my fiction topics. The topic has 42 views, which isn't bad, but the link to the fiction only has 29 views. Which makes me assume that out of every one of you who looked in the topic, there's only about a five percent chance that anyone actually looked at the book. I know for a fact that people are reading it, but I don't know who. I'm not referring to "Enticed Darkness", I'm referring to the "Because I'm A Girl" topic.

I know you guys and gals are far too busy to read something because you are all trying to do an RPG or you're working, but the only one that I know of that's giving me comments is my pal Nail Strafer. And I mean he's busy with work, but at least he's willing to take some time out of his day to talk to me about my works on msn messenger. The two of us have been doing it for some time now. I believe we met in 2004 and that's how we became good pals. He may not write anymore (except on this rpg) but his advice is still very useful.

So all I think you really need to improve the board, is to try and take time out of your busy day to read and comment on the fictions. We already know you all comment on the pictures, so why not the fictions? The way I see it, if people aren't willing to take time to comment on the people who take time to show off their works in the art gallery, then why do we have an art gallery?
