Okay, watch the movie gamer, and tell me that there aren't a rather big mush of players in there.. You may not be fat, but that doesn't mean that there aren't fat gamers out there. In fact, I used to play video games and I wouldn't say I'm skinny. So don't cticize. And no, I don't assume that girls like romances either. I know for a fact that people have their own preferences on books, but you know what I can't say. I can't say that there's a ton of readers out there, so I just write whatever pops into my head. If I decided to do a fantasy or a mystery, that's what I do.

In fact this makes me wonder, I make an oppinion and then you all wail on me. What's this world coming to if you can't even state your oppinion without someone criticizing you?

I do believe you missed the entire point, Tech. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, yes. That does not mean that the opinion is right though. It's an opinion, after all. It just so happens that your opinion isn't very likable because it's based on a generalization that hasn't been proven as being completely factual. Thus the backlash.

Yoli, your calculations - is that based on number of active accounts, or amount of players? Either way, 26% is stupidly excessive.

Tails, I didn't suggest stripping out all the staff. Perhaps I could have worded it better but that just ain't my style...
Any my point - if people are too busy to be doing RL and this board, then step aside and let someone else more able to do so, do so. Keep a couple on - Viper, as it's his domain, Links, as it's his board (and one or two more but that'd be it) and take a couple of the younger more dedicated guys on. Instantly you have remotivated staff willing to get this board up on its feet again.

And for the record, I am developing a bit of a gut on me. Nothing major, in these parts they call it a beer belly, and it's because I go out of the house and drink excessive amounts of alcohol with my friends and have done for the last 6 or 7 years. My gaming habits started about 16 or 17 years ago and I didn't start putting weight on until I discovered booze <3

My calculations are based on active members. I never account count. That's cheating in this case. =B

Me too. I can tell they've been logging in and out: are they even aware this exists?

And to illustrate an earlier point, nobody's approved Quartz for posting despite his profile having been moved to the appropriate section and having no posting access to the rest of the forum - I thought the post I'd made in the support section wasn't going to be seen as it gave me another "not approved" message, only to see it there...
That's been about a week, if that was a new member they'd have had little to no way of communicating this problem with anyone, gotten bored and left by now. I make a valid point, in my earlier post.

That was actually my fault. See, I actually forgot to approve the account before moving it. Durhur :| My apologies on that. Often, i zip by here quickly looking for PMs or something i often forget otherwise.

Actually my bad, man. It wasn't a dig at you and I apologise if it indeed came across that way! In fact, come to think of it I only ever see you and Yoli do anything around here. So yeah, my bad man.
