...this community? It seems to me that we're becoming about as social as hermits. =o

People, people. It's okay to roll with your own ideas. I thought roleplaying was supposed to be fun and engaging. I'd love to see more collaboration between members. I'd love to see you guys take a step up. Be curious. Be assertive.

I mean. What's holding you back? Seriously. Just how many people have you seen banned from here? I always thought past the applications and past the chaos emerald business, we were generally lenient.

So, I'm asking you. What's stopping you?

I'm not going to warn you for stating an opinion on the structure of this place and whatever (although let's not point fingers at specific people please).

So, discuss!

But on that topic, I have been thinking of doing (instead of podcasts) Live chats. Live chats being getting people onto skype and just start talking about whenever. Since I seem to be doing that a lot with some peoples....

Well, I know I for one have nothing even resembling a life, so I'm on here all the time. In fact, this just so happens to be the only one of my forums my school doesn't block XD So really the problem lies in all of YOU. I am exempt, by means of being totally awesome and simultaneously being about the saddest case of nerdom I've ever seen that doesn't involve WoW.

I've done that before, for my Fallout PnP games. It's pretty fun to do RPs via voice chat. It's just scheduling them can be a pain in the butt.

Awe, come on now. I can't really say I'm much of a Sonic fan anymore myself, but that's not really why I kept coming back here. I came back here because when I have RPed here, I actually enjoyed it, and enjoying it is the important part.

@ Shadow: Ah-hahaha... Don't know if that's something to brag about. XD; I'm very much the same way though when I don't have a lot on my plate.

@ Rose: Yeah, we could do that for sure. GURPs could also have a revival even.

@ Qesun: That's basically why I've stayed all these years. It's a small community. You basically know everyone and that makes things a lot easier, too.

I just have the "they dun wanna talk to you" complex at times ;; that kinda makes me shy away from interacting alot. *steals your candy* The rest of the time I'm usually messin with photoshop, writing, being outside doin stuff. :B But typically I'm on every night bout 8 cst just laughing it up on teh internets till about 2am

Any time in the past I've tried to get topics up and running, they've been ignored for whatever reason or I've been given a raping over MSN for spamming - on any other forum these topics would be filled with speculation, discussion and not considered spam.
Work on your OOC areas, seriously. Not being a Sonic fan any more shouldn't be a limitation on allowing yourself to join in with a number of threads people have on the go here, I know a number of people who say that and it's mildly irritating that such narrow-mindedness is around. You don't like Sonic? Fine - discuss Kingdom Hearts, Forza, the weather, anything. Assuming you're not told off for spamming, that is.
From my experience the OOC is a crucial area in developing your "community".

And also, the board is primarily a roleplaying one. Unlike most Sonic forums where it's an extra feature, with Aftermath it IS the feature and why people come here. Not everyone wants to roleplay, and when they see the lack of my above point, they tend to bugger off.

If I recall correctly, it really hasn't been that way in a long time. The last time I think topics were ever closed was around a year or so ago. Since then, there may have been a stray one here or there, but I at least don't recall many being closed.
