The first step

RE: The first step
He's still trying to aviod answering. What's he doing anyway? Stalling for time? He didn't have all day to mess around.

"If you don't want to answer, then just get up and leave. I don't have time to pick on low intellect thugs like you. I'm searching for somebody of significant importance and no, I'm not telling you who he is."

Why would he? This guy could be working with GUN for all he knew. Why should he know that Ruggero was looking for Robotnik anyway? He should be minding his own business and finding people who didn't have guns like he did.

RE: The first step
Byrain’s right eyebrow rose up in questioning at that last part. He was looking for someone of….something? He blinked in bewilderment. Well, it didn’t matter much to him, at least the sap was already making the wrong move in allowing him to get up. Of course, he said it before….but now that Byrain had made a ‘point’, it was more than a perfect opportunity. Just keep on playing dumb, Byrain, Keep playing dumb…

Keeping his hands up, he slowly go up, though he looked completely unbalanced, even crossing his left leg over his right as he tilted dangerously to the right, holding his arms out to try and gain back his ‘balance’. He shook his a little bit blink at the same time, and the staring more defiantly in front, blinking more. He was drunk, and now he looked like it. The fact that he couldn’t completely see straight was a fact of it.

"Damn." He mumbled to himself as he shook his head more, now seemingly ignoring the man in front of him.

RE: The first step
He got up, but isn't saying anything. So is it right to assume he's taking the latter desicion? "If you don't want to talk, then turn around and go. You're of no interest to me." If he knew he was playing, he would have shot him until he couldn't move, but he didn't know. Still, if anything did go wrong he had a way of protecting himself, unless he loses his gun. Sure, he could use his legs, but it's likely that this unknown person could cane him easily.

RE: The first step

“Wellllllll, Maybe I –want- to talk….” Byrain quickly replied to him with a snake-like grin. He took a large step forward. Or, to be technical, a large –angled- step forward, appearing to be completely off-balanced. “First off, Yes, I’m after your wallet.” He replied, his words slurring together as he sounded dull as though he’s been asked the question thousands of times. “ I don’t see how it’s a ‘low blow’ to you, though,…”

RE: The first step
Ruggero took a step back as Byrain stepped forward. "So you were after my wallet. I figured somebody like you would do that. Stealing somebody's wallet is completely lame and shows that you don't have the brains to go out and get a job for money." Though the slurred words coming from this guy's mouth made him seem suspicious. "Are you drunk or something? Now I know why you wouldn't have a job, man."

RE: The first step
Maybe.” He replied, looking towards the side with the word coming out slurred as well.

As he replied his right hand, once again, seemed to reach for the invisible bottle that would have been hanging somewhere on the right of his belt line.

Damn.’ He replied in his mind when he was once again reminded that he left the bottle on the top of the building.

“Either way……I –have- a job. I just…haven’t done jack with it yet, yo.” Which in some ways was a truestatement. He was with the empire, but so far he’s only did –one- thing. And –THAT- job was pretty lame. What’s so fun about kidnapping? Nothing, nothing is fun about it at all.

RE: The first step
"Maybe? From the sound of your voice, I'd say definitely." From Ruggero's POV, he thought that he had the upper advantage. There was no way that assailant could get to his wallet if he was drunk, right? Besides, there wasn't much money in there and he kept his credit cards in the inside of his jacket.

"So you DO have a job. How much do you get paid? It must be pretty LOW if you're stealing money in your spare time. I'm looking for somebody, a certain somebody, to work for. I'm not doing it for the money, I'm doing it for a cause and if you believe in the same stuff as me, maybe we should both go to this person instead of wasting our time interrogating people." If he knew that this assailant was with the Empire, he would withdraw that comment, but he doubted that scenario. If it was true, it would be one step harder to get in, but he knew he can still make it.

RE: The first step

Byrain looked at Ruggero with an expression that can only be described as a deer in bright headlights. He took a swaggering step forward towards him.

“What you be talkin’ about, yo?”

RE: The first step
Why bother getting informaiton from somebody who's completely smashed? It's like talking to a wall with a boxing arm. Ruggero took another step back as Byrain took one foreward.

"If it matters to you, which I'm sure it WON'T, I'm going to see Dr. Ivo Robotnik. If you knew any sense in this bloody place I suggest you come along as well. I'm sure he'll find SOMETHING for you to do."

RE: The first step

His eyes squinted as he looked at Ruggero suspiciously.

Oh rrreeeaaaallllllllyyyyyyyy...," he started off with a suspicious tone, "What’cha got for him?” Byrain asked, though it sounded more like a demand. He leaned forward and eyed him down, waiting for an answer.
