Tia
Name: Tia
Age: 20 Gender: Female Species: Fox Color: Light blue on the tip of her tail, very bright red hair. Clothing: Black Finger-less Gloves, Dark Blue stealth sneakers. Brown ankle holds on the upper thigh section of her legs to hold her Scissors Suwayyahs. Black Shirt, and blue short shorts. Personality: Very passive and often doesn't talk unless talked too. She does get talkative when with people she knows. She seems to be positive as she tries her best to look at the better side of things. She doesn't talk about her past to anyone, expect very close friends. History: Native to Never Lake, but raised in Radical City. Tia never got to really know her parents, in fact she doesn't know who her real parents to this day. She was born into a clan of assassins, and for identity reasons Tia was raised by different people at different times during her life. She wouldn't understand how 'different' her life was going to be. It had been decided before even Tia was born that she would carry on the tradition of 'Lidevie' clan. 'Lidevie' was a clan of specialized assassins who executed supposed wrong-do-ers that were outside of the reach of law, despite the clan being over a several centuries old, it basic customs had survived. The 'Lidevie' clan, however was reaching the end of the line as several of the founding families had left and with it unable to execute the largest villain outside of the law, Robotnik. It was losing what-ever honor it had left. Tia was born into the clan and was raised for the first years of life were raised by the clan leader, and his family. She grew up in an elderly family, with little tolerance for anything outside there 'normal'. They lived in a traditional house on the very edge of Radical City. They didn't have TV, they didn't have video games. She was raised based on the customs from the clan's history, when she was old enough she did cores around the house and at most was allowed to read 'select' books during free time. At the age of six, they began to focus on teaching her to 'hate evil'. They showed evil to her through use of newspapers articles, from past parts of history. Whenever they went out, they made sure to point out 'evil' in the real world as well. Tia young and no real concept of world accepted it and took in the elder's words, hook, line, and sinker. They taught her, evil makes people sad, evil brings war, evil brings anger, evil brings deaths. She was at first scared of these things. She attended private schools for her education, to help keep her away from the 'free' world. She was still exposed to some of the 'free' world even at a private school. She learned about things like technology and friends. The elder however carefully twisted this, pointing out that technology was made thanks to war, and war was thanks to evil. He twisted it drastically to the point of saying that those 'friends' were teaching her 'evil' things, and that she would become 'evil' too if she fell for them. That scared Tia and left her to push herself away from everyone outside of the household all through her elementary school years. The psycho-babble from the elder stayed strong because they kept enforcing it everyday, constantly. However, they all changed there tunes when Tia was entering Middle School. "Do you want to know how to fight 'evil'?" That was the question that started it all. The elder had built up fear of this 'evil' in Tia and now that she lived in fear of 'evil', she wanted to do anything to escape that. She wanted to know how to fight evil, so she would no longer be scared of evil. It was at this point she was passed off to someone else in the clan. She moved from the edge of Radical City, to the out-skirts of Never Lake. She never did attend her Middle School, at least not officially. She was now being taken care of by a large gruff black fox, named Hich. Hich started the next phase of Tia's psycho-babble, to change that child-hood fear to into a quest to rid the world of evil. Tia was also introduced to other kids of similar age, and similar beliefs of 'evil'. They all lived on a small dojo a bit in the woods from Never Lake. Tia's life might have been a bit harsh with the elder but now it had become hell. The kids did all the work around the dojo, the youngest and weakest getting to do much of the work. Tia had just entered, leaving her as the youngest and the weakest of them all. It was overwhelming at first and in anger she protested, which resulted almost instantly in an open-palm strike to her chest by Hich. "Evil can not be overcome by the weak, only the strong." It became the second line that became burned into Tia's memory. She became obsessed to become strong to correct this 'evil' being done to her. Hich only helped that develop that further by making there life's difficult. She would find herself on the receiving end of Hich's attack very often as he was there instructor, who would teach them the basics of fighting. That was what he said at least, but all he really did is accept challenges and then beat the kids up in response. He would show a move once and then told them to hit him with it. That was the way he wanted us to earn our food but almost all of the kids couldn't lay a figure on him, he didn't hold back. Tia knew if she wanted to defeat this 'evil', she would fight it. She found out on the third day, that if they didn't hit Hich then they had to get there own food. Tia at this point had not eaten in over a few days and really needed food. She was starving and at night she stood awake with two other girls from the dojo. She heard from them that there was two way to get food in the dojo. The primary was to go out at night and hunt for it, and the second was to steal it from Hich's supply of food. Tia had never hunted before and at the same time stealing from Hich seemed just as impossible for her. That wasn't the end of the problems, if they were caught out bed at night it was a punishment, so hunting was chancy cause if they were caught out of bed they would get in trouble. Tia asked what kind of punishment, and the girls only looked at each other and Tia would never forgot the look on there faces, of just plain terror. The girls explained to Tia that the only way they stay alive is if they work as a group. If almost on cue, outside Tia could see the four boys of the dojo silently running into the forest with make-shift spears and other crude weaponry. "We have to try and steal it today it seems." It was customary for the boys and girls to steal or hunt, and since all of them together would be too large of a group to hunt, it becomes a first come first serve. If they were going to hunt they had to hurry out first, and who ever didn't make it out was forced to have to steal. The two girls had been there for a year and so they began to explain a very detailed plan to steal the food. They knew where the food was and even knew where he was. He was always in the same place every night. The food was under the floor board in the training room, however Hich slept in the room right next to the training room. The tricky part was moving the heavy floor boards without waking him. The training room had heavy flooring for extra support during training, and so if slid across the floor it would make a loud sand paper sound, and dropping it on the floor made a big BANG. The floor boards were also huge, so when picked up they didn't stay straight, and finally they were too heavy. The girls mentioned that they barely were able to lift the board most of the time, and normally would get caught. They seemed to be a bit more optimistic now that there were three of them. It was one of the scariest nights of Tia's life. They slowly sneaked downstairs into the training hall. The three of them managed to move the floorboard without making a noise, and underneath was stacked perfectly layer after layer of different types of canned foods and such. However they were a net of ropes between them, Tia went to instinctively grab a can of corn, before any of the other girls could stop her. The moment her hands wiggled the net a sudden sound of bells could be heard. The other two girls, seemly already knowing this ran off but before Tia could figure out what just happened, Hich was already standing in the doorway. Tia found out first hand what the punishment was, as next night, still starved she was taken out to the center of Never Lake and thrown into the lake. "Swim back. If you can." She didn't even have a chance to reply as he took the small boat and drove back to the dock they had come from. Never Lake wasn't a small lake and she was exhausted enough from not having any food. She however was more determined, she was starting to understand how 'evil' it was and that it was going to beat her at this rate. She forced herself to swim back to the shore by the morning, however she was stuck on the shore. She was exhausted and no energy left, when one of the other girls came by and gave her some corn they had stolen. The girl was a white fox named, Milsa. Tia quickly found out by getting caught, all the kids were able to eat since Hich had taken her out at night. During that time all of them had raided the food Hich's food supply, and all of them were able to eat a large meal. She had saved a can for her as thanks for Tia. Milsa helped Tia back to the dojo and became pretty much good friends. The next three years, it become about training and survival. She learned to hunt, sneak, and fight. Most of all, She didn't want to see her fellow kids or her friend Milsa being hurt by Hich anymore. Tia and Milsa tried there best to train to fight Hich, to beat Hich. The dream of all the kids, to defeat this 'evil'. Tia was ready to do anything to defeat Hich, even resorting to dirty means if possible. A 14 year old Tia, woke up before there normal food meeting time. She took one of there crudely made spears and sneaked downstairs and into Hich's room. She at first was scared but all she had to do is think of all the things he had done to her since she came, not just her but everyone else in the dojo. The took the spear and plunged it right towards his heart, only to hit the floor knocked out but a rapid strike to the back of her neck. She awoke later to find herself in a boat on her way to Western Island. She was transferred again to a rather young gentleman named Hruth. She sat in a boat as the drove to Western Island. Hruth was driving and started to explain to her, despite her not even asking, what was going on. He told her that the whole point of the dojo was to see if she was willing to do anything to strike down evil. The difficult times by Hich and the pain he caused, was all suppose to be a trial. If they didn't defeat evil, it would eventually defeat them. He smiled as he turned to her and told her. "You passed. You saw evil, and you sought to strike it down." Hruth explained how now she was going to learn the ways to strike evil, and the strength to do so. There was another dojo which older kids, many older then her. She found out quickly she was the youngest to ever to come in a long time. It was here where she learned her assassin skills. They enforced her sneaking skill from her trail before with more formal knowledge. They honed her killer instinct from all the times she hunted. They taught her how to fight, showing her the basics and some of the intermediate skills she would require. The new dojo was still difficult but not 'evil', you had to clean and do work around the dojo but you were fed and well kept. It was also around this point when Tia became 'desensitized'. One of the things that were different was boys and girls weren't sergeant in anything. They ate, slept, even bathed together and treated equally. Tia as like the rest of the children, went through an older version of Deprogramming, to destroy any interest in the opposite sex. Tia having been going through puberty, found any interest in men pretty much wiped away, all under it leading to 'evil' things. She had to throw away everything, so she could strike evil no matter where it might be. She spent three years training, learning the skills of the assassins. The fourth year, when she was 17, began her real world training. She now had the freedom to move out and go anywhere, however she stayed at the dojo despite being able to leave now. She was free from living restrictions now but at this point she was devoted to the cause. She received her first missions from the very elder that had raised her when she was just a child. Her first mission was to take out a small gang that was suspected of having involvement in a case of rape, but was never prosecuted. Tia was a bit edgy about her first mission but her training, compared a bunch of teenagers who thought they were 'Da Bomb', it was no match. She first found where they hung out through both rumors and reports. She then found there little hide out, she did everything the way she was taught. She killed without remorse the two members watching the doors by landing on them and stabbing them in the neck. She then dragged their bodies into the center of the alley before intentional firing a round of there pistol. She was trained effectively as like expected, as someone came out to check what happened. Tia took him hostage, and used him to call for the rest of the gang. She didn't even give the hostage a choice as she slit his throat and waited in ambush for the other ones. They all met a similar end and she was gone by the time someone reported the gun shot. She reported back that the rapist had been taken care of. Her life was like that for six months, till her world began to unravel. She was ordered to take out a drug lord on last minute notice. The assassin assigned to originally take it was gone at the moment. Tia unprepared, and her weapons being damaged was rushed to take action. She had spent much of her money just on food and buying information and was short. She found a new blacksmithing shop on the 'troubled' side of Radical City. She met Dan, who she virtually threatens to fix her weapons in a day and deliver it to a specific spot. He didn't make it on time. She watched from her hiding spot as the drug lord was making his deal with one of the small time gangs in Radical City. She didn't have her weapons but if she didn't strike down the 'evil' now then she might not have a chance too later. She decided to try, despite managing to using the drug lords own car to 'explode' everything. She still had guards and gang members left shooting at her despite there dead boss and dead gang leader. She managed to win but at deadly cost, she had taken several bullets and was bleeding to death. She passed out only a block away from her fight thinking that it was the end but at least she had take 'evil' out with her, however she didn't die. She awoke in a bed in the care of the person she had left her weapons to be repaired with, Dan. She instantly wanted to leave and go back to the dojo, where normally she would be allowed to rest and heal but her injuries were simply too great for her to be moving about. He was also asking questions about what happened but she was sworn to take her deeds to the grave. She didn't want to talk because he might even call the police if he knew the truth, however after a week and then two weeks she began to feel guilty herself. She was being taken care of by a complete stranger by the goodness of his own heart and yet she wouldn't answer his simple question of what happened. After a few more days, she finally admitted to what had happened. She explained everything in full detail, how, why, and even details about her clan. She didn't say much about the clan but it was enough for Viper to figure out what the clan did. She could tell he was now uneasy around her and even through a few times that he had called the police on her. The finally came when she was well enough to leave on her own strength when Dan asked. "Can you teach me how to fight?" She first thought it was a bit of a crude joke, but she had learned how to read peoples expressions and faces. His wasn't joking but with resolve. She partly didn't want to say no to him and at the same time she didn't want to be hassled by such a task, let alone the fact she should silence him since he knew some of the secrets. "The weak shouldn't fight, that's only for the strong." His determination was more then Tia expected as he came right back at her. "Then help me to become strong." She could tell that he wasn't backing down and his resolve was set. She agreed in to teach him how to fight. She gave him his first brief lesson before she left, mainly just showing him the basic practice methods and told him to do them daily, if he did she would teach him more lately. She partly hoped that his resolve was just spire of the moment and that when she came back, he would have not had practiced and so she wouldn't have to teach him anything. The next nine months, were some of the most interesting parts of her life. She would visit him between jobs and tasks to repair her weapons, and in turn she taught him the basic's of combat. She didn't teach him anything advanced but more how to remain calm and focused during a fight, to think in the heat of the moment. Tia was a bit scare at how quickly focused he became during training. His resolve to learn unwavering the entire time she knew him. She also pointed out how Dan had a talent she lacked, his speed. She didn't understand it but cause of Dan being a cross-breed, he had the ability to go fast enough to not be seen, and a skill an assassin like her would have died for. She couldn't help but be reminded of the blaring speed of a specific blue hedgehog, that was famous everywhere. She mentioned concepts to include his talent into his fighting style however he didn't want that. "If I rely on this talent alone... then I really am weak." Dan's time during training with Tia was a learning curve for her. She couldn't explain it entirely but it was like looking at someone with endless determination. She had a feeling one day his skill might just surpass her, it was a bit scary thing to think. She challenged Dan's mental reasoning for wanting strength only to be surprised at Dan's solid resolve. She told him a bit about 'Swift Death to Evil', that was her clan's motto. She didn't want to teach him any more beyond the basics without knowing for sure that he wasn't 'evil'. He smiled an explained something, something that kept him driving forward. "I've seen true 'evil', the evil people call discrimination. However, evil is determined by the people, not by one person. It's a concept that each and everyone has different values in. I don't hate them, I pity them. I pity those who can't understand, who don't want to understand. I want to fight, I want to become strong, only to protect myself and the people I can about, from those people... those people who don't understand and will do 'evil' so they don't have to understand." It was like Dan had pulled on cord that unraveled Tia's world around her. She had been taught absolute evil, and that evil was universal, a constant in the universe. Yet, Dan so easily pointed it out. It wasn't those who were evil never thought they were doing evil. It racked her mind enough so that she questioned herself, was what she had been doing 'evil'. Who gave her the right to take lives? Who gave her the right to dish out 'justice'? If almost the strength it, Dan who saw the expression on her face as it started to over think everything. "Tia, don't stop believing in your own justice. I don't think you killed those out of hate or anger. I don't think those people were 'good' people, but do you think 'Bring Swift Death To Evil' is the only answer? Sometimes living with that sin is more unbearable then dieing." Tia rested for rest of the day. She had to think for herself about what was right and wrong, and her 'flawed' concept of evil. She sat on the roof of the shop that night as she couldn't sleep that night. She was confused and feeling a bit sick, as she through about how all the people she had killed. She never thought about them before, did they have families? Did they have some loved one waiting for them? Did she have the right to take there lives? They were all supposedly created equal, so if she had the right to kill them wouldn't that mean that everyone had the right to kill? It hurt so much. She started to unravel everything she taught as everything 'truth' she had been taught was cracking under the weight of Dan's words. However, she didn't have the time to think things through. She sat on the building top of Dan's shop, and quickly found herself not alone. She noticed a white fox on the roof with her, clad in a white dress. She was armed with two cestus, a variation of katars, more focused on slashing then stabbing. Tia didn't care about any of that as she knew the fox, it had been years but the face was still hers. Milsa stood there looking at Tia, with a blank look on her face and the both of them stood silent for a moment as both attempted to read each other expressions. Milsa was the first to break the silence. "It's been a long time, Tia Valencia." Her voice was devoid of its former warmth. Her personality was hidden completely under her neutral words. She had become a professional assassin like Tia, and her skills spoke for themselves. She knew more then well enough that Milsa hadn't come for a union and she was out on a mission. Milsa just gave a small smile as she slowly walked closer to her old friend. "Each assassin is handed specific types of missions." Tia knew the system but she wanted to know what she was getting at. The assassins were divided up to handle specific tasks. Some assassin targeted high-profile targets, some were information gathers, and others took care of the small time 'evil'. Assassins of specific groups often did not cross, Tia never met any other assassins from the other sections of the clan. It was standard practice for the groups not to know each other for secrecy of the clan. "You were to handle mid-class assassinations. They are the most balanced out of the clan, being proficient in all the arts and skills." She didn't need to be reminded of what her jobs where, she always was taking down drug lords and other middle-class targets, often those that had managed the 'Not guilty' in court. "I'm a specialist. My primary mission is to bring in traitors." Tia knew why now, her clan considered her a traitor for some reason and now someone was sent to 'clean up'. She didn't understand why she was considered a traitor and her face gave that away to Milsa. "Why? You talked. You told the owner of this shop about 'us'. You know that's forbidden." She wasn't sure how, but her clan figured out she had told Dan. Tia wasn't sure if she could fight, her former friend. She was so confused and what little joys she had in her life was now being turned into ash by the present. Her face betrayed her again as Milsa was able to read the expression once again. Tia was wondering if it was because Milsa or good or her crippled mental state. "Oh I'm not here to kill you, I have to take you in alive. All though I do have to kill is the shop owner, I heard you taught him some of our trades. I wonder how good of a fight he'll put up?" Tia blood boiled, she didn't want to let someone she knew die. She knew there was no point in trying to debate to not kill him. She was relying on his words now, "Don't stop believing in your own justice". She felt a bit different then before, she didn't feel like this was going to become 'just another' fight. "I won't let you." She drew her scissor katars and got ready for the impending fight, however Milsa only laughed. Tia finally was able to read her expression just once, for a moment it was mixed sadness with disappointment. "I could have killed you long before now. I was here the entire time, I could have slit your throat any time." Milsa reached her hands into her other dress and pulled out long but thin needles. Tia knew what fighting style she really was. She was a projectile user, most specifically needles. Unlike knifes and other larger weapons, needles were impossible to hear coming, they were silent and difficult to predict as well as see. Needle throwing however also extremely difficult skill, far more then throwing knifes was. It was now plain as day why she was placed in the position she was in, most fellow assassins would never know what hit them. "I won't let you kill him." Tia fought Milsa with everything she had. The fight dragged on and on, both Milsa and Tia have absurd amount of stamina and tolerance to pain. The fight dragged on till about sunset when both of them were finally at there limits and exhausted of all ideas and plans. Tia had won, her katars only a hair away from completely taking off Milsa's leg, and her left shoulder a total bloody mess. Tia's left arm was more a pin-cushion then anything else, with numerous amounts of needles across it, and several in her legs as well. Her right arm was bleeding from a large cut up the arm from Milsa's Cestus. She slowly walked to a sprawled out Milsa as she slowly bled to death. "I lost... Heh... Tia..." Tia came closer to get her katar back from Milsa but as she kneeled down, Milsa's good hand swung out with a needle in hand, stopping an inch before Tia's neck. Tia didn't understand why she stopped, she would have died if she had carried it out. Milsa despite her pain, was easily able to read Tia's face again. Why? ... What's the point... if we both die? I would rather you live on... with the sin... of killing someone... you once called a friend. It was true, it hurt. She had killed someone she had called once a friend, someone irreplaceable in her memory. It registered on how much it hurt as everything was getting worse and worse, she had just killed a childhood friend. Milsa smiled as she drew back the needle a bit. And... just so you don't forget. She seemly 'flicked' the needle between her figures but even with that, the impact and force was still great. The needle went straight into her tail, since it was by her side. It was too far in to pull out and was stuck in her tail. You're the second... person to beat me. You should meet him... in the dunes of the Desert Area. He... is a traitor... as well. Her friend smiled and at the same time cried. Tia watched as she went limp, with the same smile and tears still in her eyes. Tia was hysterical emotional, she saw everything around her crumbling away. She was a traitor, a traitor that killed her own friend. She wasn't sure were to turn, she partly wanted to go back to Dan and see what he had to say but she didn't want to worry him. If she went to him she would have to explain that they were after him as well. She did not want to tell him, so without a word she disappeared from Dan's life. She was sixteen and losing her will to live, Tia recklessly traveled across the dunes of the Desert Area. She was searching for the person Milsa had spoken of, another traitor. She wanted to know how to live, as her whole life had been for the clan and now it was all in ruins. She wanted answers, she wanted wisdom, she wanted something she could cling' too. Her recklessness resulted in her passing out on the dunes of the desert as she tried to find this man. She awoke again, cursed by fate, to survive once again by mere chance. She was in a cave somewhere underground. She quickly was introduced her savor a older brown fox by the name of, Rison. She spoke to Rison of what she was doing out in the dunes without even him asking. He didn't even say anything for that matter as Tia just started talking on and on about her troubles, in her feeble attempt to get the weight off her chest. He just sat and listened carefully to her tail, and how she was searching for this person. Rison was quick to give a small rough laugh and then spoke with an aged voice, which was full of wisdom and life. "Well I'm glad you don't work for them. I thought I would have to kill you, it was pretty obvious you were an assassin but your lack of perpetrations for the desert, recklessness, and then an instant break down of your entire life to a complete stranger. It was rather revealing!" Rison had spent over ten years in the desert and he explained how every-so often an assassin from the clan would come by and demand him to come back. He never accepted any of it, some often resulting fights. He was a major instructor of the clan, a section of the style that only he knew and he was determined to take it to the grave with him. He wanted no part of the clan anymore, and there 'evil' ways. "Now child let me tell you, the true horror of 'Lidevie' clan." He explained from the moment of her birth that she would be given to the clan. He explained the entire process in which they raised the kids of the clan. He made a pointed out during her times with Hich, why was it he never found the remains of the food they ate, or that the food was missing. It was because he already knew, and was well aware of what was happening. They wanted them to 'hate' injustice, and the oldest way to do so is to make them feel injustice and enough so that finally, they would do injustice back in return. At that point they would move them onto learning fighting, and then do mental training to destroy outside interest like love and friendship. They would be taught to fight and ordered to execute people with no feelings or remorse. He added that Tia never did fully hear the history of some of her targets, if they had families or not. He also pointed out even if the primary target was evil, did that make all his minions too? They might have to take risky work to make ends meat. They might have even been forced to help. He then spoke of the funding, she hadn't even thought of where the clan got there money. Rizon explained it very simply, that the clan's view of evil is the highest bidder. If someone really wants someone dead, they can hire them for a fee and it would be done. He explained that when he first became a master it wasn't that way, but as the leadership changed and the clan began to die off the leader was willing to do anything. He was so fixed on keeping the clan alive that he started taking missions with high money from clients that were questionable and then later it became all those missions. The clan was brought back to life but it had lost all its honor. He then left, taking the magical and anti-gunner skills with him. They have wanted him to return very badly to teach those moves to the new students, but he would have nothing more to do with the fallen clan. The dark truth of the clan was scary, like being told your entire like was planned and controlled from day one. She was right in it too right to the very last murder, she had been used perfectly. Rison explained further about if she had gone with Milsa, they most likely would have tried to deprogram her again and if it didn't work. They would kill her so she wouldn't tell anyone about the clan. She stilled remembered Dan's words about her justice. She wanted to her 'justice' and she wanted it bad. She didn't see anything good coming from this method. She stood up to leave and head back to fight it all, to take them all down. Rison, however stopped her with a few words. "If you think you can take them on as is, then go on but understand, with your level of skill you will die. The masters of the different styles of the clan are far more powerful then your friend." She picked up on the tone of his voice as she sense something coming as he was ready to offer something. "You have the talent, and I have the experience and knowledge that you need. However I have one simple condition." Tia had a feeling by the way he explained he had told other assassins to 'go away' that he had to be very powerful, and if he was an instructor of the style. That meant he had to be part of the founding family of the clan to be an instructor. She wasn't sure of what though as each family handled a different part of the fighting style, since she hadn't reached the age of 20, she wasn't allowed to learn the advanced arts. Rison offered to assist her in her quest for her 'justice', to end the clan. "You must live. You must not throw away your life. You must live till the day you body turns to dust. You will bare the sins you have committed for the rest of your life, as have I. You will not do something that will get you killed. You must bring back your will to live, for yourself." It was odd and different, she had long thrown away her fear of death. Rison however was saying she must bring that back and she must stay alive till the day she dies of old age. "I'm giving you more power, not to for just justice but to protect your life." Tia trained for a whole year, non-stop, with nothing else to distract them. Rison was a master at both magic and anti-gunner abilities. She had never been taught magic, or moves to avoid gunners. He explained that with these skills he had it would make her a complete assassin, one who has learned all the different branches of the arts. He explained though magical she would never be very strong, explaining to her that she wasn't talented enough to excellent in both magic and physical attacks. The training was very similar and very harsh standards, maybe even more then her years with the clan. He pushed her limits by practicing magic and physical skills at the same time, mental and physically exhausting her at the same time. She learned the magic but despite the time and constant training she only managed to be above a beginner in magic, and was very uneven. She knew how to heal a bone but not skin and muscles, she knew how to create a wall of rock, but not how to make a hole in the ground. She didn't make very much progress after further in magic despite all Rison's and Tia's best efforts. Tia's physical fighting skills however made drastic progress, and this is when Tia learned 'Death Emission'. The art she was learning was the newest part of the fighting style. It became only needed when the appearance of guns came, so the style she was learning was a far more recent version of the style. The move was one of the most advanced anti-gunner moves of the clan. She spent lots of time practicing this move alone to shorter her weakness against gun-users. The move took almost the entire year to effectively learn it enough to use in battle and she would require honing it more on her own later. Rison taught several of the advanced moves and principles to Tia as well, which brought her skill up drastically. She made the most progress physically and managed to learn at least some magic. The day Tia went to leave, she was 19, Rison gave her a present. He gave her Scuro & Sonne, this set of weapons was forged by two different blacksmiths, one who was trying to build the strongest, and the other who had a pure soul. The weapons were a treasure of his side of the family, but he wanted them to be used for the shake of ending the clan once and for all. She went on her way, first to the Never Lake. She arrived to find the only childhood dojo, abandon. She went to Radical City to visit the elder's house, it was also abandon. She finally rushed in anger to the dojo in Western Island, it was also abandon. They had changed locations, since she had let the secrets out they must have moved all the locations of the training spots for safety reasons. She couldn't pick up the trail of her clan anymore. She sat in Western Island, disappointed and mad... only to be met by someone unexpected. She met Darkness in Western Island and due to a bit of anger and maybe destiny. She fought it out with him, quickly finding herself matched, despite her new skills. After coming to an exhausting draw, they both came to discover they were looking for something, maybe a different reason in the world. They joined forces to search for this other reason. However, after about a year there relationship had changed drastically and Tia was losing interest in searching for her clan but living up to the promise to Rison, to live her life. She however was a known assassin at this point and had plenty of bounties on her head, some of which she suspects her clans involvement in. She never wants to loss her way again in life and is worried that if Darkness disappears the way in life she wants to live might disappear with it. She still has some bad habits from her days with the clan and has a real 'evil' side when it comes to fighting. She also still tends to forget to value her life in a battle, however she values Darkness' life very much so. She is now 20 years old and making progress to a 'somewhat' normal life. She has lost track of Darkness during the madness of Sarath's invasion and despite all that he means to her Tia is sure she will met him again, but right now she feels she has to start taking a more proactive approach to redeem herself. Weapons: Scuro & Sonne - A set of hand-held scissor katars, the left blade is called the Scuro for 'Dark', while the right blade is called the Sonne for 'Light'. The blades are hand held and about a 6" long with three blades on each one, a left, a right, and a center blade that come together at the base, most of the blades being 90 degree angle. The Scuro & Sonne are almost identical expect a jewel on the top of the base, one having the symbol of darkness, the other of light. They are excellent for breaking and crippling most traditional blade weapons, like swords. The material is highly suggested to be ring substance as energy blades due not cause the blade to melt, making it hard to break and even harder to repair when broken. She often has them on clips on her tights, often easily hidden under a jacket or dress. Needles - Tia has and knows how to use throwing needles, a difficult skill too use. This skill acted as Tia's only range attack during her years before she learned her magic. She is decent at this skill but is no specialist at the skill, she has no special tactics or moves with this as she prefers to not rely on it, since she at most has 5 needles, when used however they are hard to see coming as they are much smaller then even a throwing knife. Skills: Killing Style - Tia's style in combat general is to destroy the opponent at all costs, including self injury. She wills gladly injury herself to allow her a death blow on the opponent. She is very good keep a fight short, mainly as her fighting style instead of attacking the opponent instead attacks their weapon, as without a weapon the opponent is defenseless. Her primary point however is to kill her opponent before the fight begins via stealth, therefore avoiding the need to fight from the start. Stealth - Tia naturally is very silent and very light on her feet, due to her training as an assassin. She can walk at normal pace without making any sound, and even running makes very little. She can still be heard normally, its just harder cause by nature (likely cause of personal habit) she walks in this fashion, when intentional even some of the best furies can't hear her coming... that is till its too late. She has some minor skills in disguises, but prefers to just avoid being seen altogether. Earth Magic - Tia can use earth based magic, like creating a rock spire attack and similar. She has the ability but she lacks in stamina and chooses to rarely rely on it due to her lack of stamina. This is not to be mistaken by lack of training, as her Rock Spire attack is rather deadly. She naturally simply has low magical stamina. Special Attacks Nujison Breaker - Tia counters another attack by using her Scuro or Sonne to catch the foe's attack in between the scissors on her weapon and then twists her blades to place heavy pressure on the side of a caught blade, though it normally never breaks a weapon first attempt after a few attempts it will result in the weapon being damaged and eventually start to crack then break. The quality of the weapon also affects this as higher ended weapons will take much more abuse then a standard one. She is not above using this same move to remove her opponent’s limbs. Death Emission - A straight forward expansion of earth matter, noticeable by the suddenly expansion of earth a before use by her feet, to launch Tia at break-neck speed at her intended target. The attack itself is based heavily on the killing style as the method use to 'stop' after being launched is to use your intended target as a surf board when you crash into him or her and/or have stabbed. The target is suppose to act 'landing softer' for this attack. If she miss's the target its possible to go into a roll, however due to the speed involved even going into a roll will be very painful and will take a moment to recover from and of course failing to roll would result in something similar to a motorcycle accident. She can use this move about twice, and maybe a third time if she wants to risk passing out due to magical exhaustion. Rock Spire - The creation and/or altercation of soil and rock, often thick and long with a often rough tip to it. It is then thrown at the target magically like a javelin, at travels at a comparable speed to one. The noticeable downside to this move that it take a good deal of stamina and takes even MORE when 'creating' earth, instead of altering it. Tia generally prefers to launch this attack from the ground, at close range, often from behind the target. She can create an earth spire at max 2 yards way from herself, and despite being able to create it in the mist of battle it takes at least whole post to form, and another to fire it. She can use this move about 3 times within a normal day, and 4th time if she wants to risk to passing out due to magical exhaustion. Strengths -Tia has instinctive reflexes when it comes to battle -She can cast and keep fighting melee at the same time. -Tia has an extreme level of pain tolerance. -Tia has overall relatively very fit overall. -Tia has no set 'morals' regarding fights. Weakness -Tia is primarily combat based and has very little outside of that -Tia combat style is self-destructive by nature. -Her sense of smell is virtually dead. -Her lack of magical stamina makes her magical attack and skills very limited -Tia has a needle embedded in her tail, which due to its depth causes large amounts of pain that bypass' her normally high resistance. |
