Captain Ruggero
Name: Ruggero Muthias Honour
Nickname: ‘Captain Ruggero’ A name he got during his College years. Age: 24 Sex: Male Species: Human Cyborg Appearance Height: 5ft11 Weight: 158.7 Eyes: Brown Hair: Black ![]() (The image was done by the talented Rose Fox and I do have permission to use it. Thank you so much Rose!) He normally wears a white shirt under a black military jacket with matching pants and a white belt, brown shoes and a white hat with a silver shield on it. Alternate clothes: White shirt and black tie under a gray V-neck sweater, gray pants, black shoes. AC2: White shirt and black tie under a black V-neck sweater, black pants, black shoes. AC3: Red coat with yellow buttons, a yellow collar and yellow cuffs, red pants, black shoes. AC4: White shirt and black tie under a black blazer with yellow buttons, a yellow collar and yellow cuffs, black pants, black shoes and the white hat. AC5: White shirt under black overalls, black shoes. (For working on machines, robots, etc. Has two different overalls. One with sleeves and one without.) Alignment: Villain Personality: Ruggero is somebody who takes his beliefs seriously, especially about technological advancement of the world. He tries to avoid an argument by simply trying to show evidence in books or other that back up some of his points. While he generally ignores people who don’t like his beliefs, those who do something against his technological beliefs are instantly regarded by him as enemies. From his dress sense, most people would consider him as somebody they shouldn’t mess with. If normal, uninteresting people try and interact with him, they’ll see him as a cold, selfish, rude and uncaring person, who doesn’t want to waste his time answering questions like the time or directions. He’ll do his best to avoid a conversation unless it counts towards his goal. He is serious most of the time and never wants to be pestered about trivial, irrelevant topics to him. When working on a project, he doesn’t seek help from others, believing that he’d finish it himself. This could lead to some people thinking he’s anti-social, which in some situations is quite true (Mainly normal social situations outside.) Although he’ll accept help from allies if they want to help him because even though he won’t seek help, he doesn’t want to leave anyone out of a project if they want to do something. Which comes to this. He isn’t a cold person entirely. If he ever makes allies, he’ll treat them with high respect, knowing they are working for a cause he believes in. He would answer any question they ask him and would be more polite than when being around normal, uninteresting people. He would sometimes like to give treats to his allies to help boost their confidence as well as morale in general. He tends to be in a good mood when successfully completing a machine or robot that contributes to his beliefs. He was, however, never actually taught about what love is and would find things related to it confusing and uninteresting. Family: Rupert Honour: Father Anne Honour: Mother Chichiro Kranatan Honour: Brother Transport: An old brown motorcycle that has been kept in top operating condition. Weapons: He has one weapon, which is an energy rifle he designed himself from an assault rifle. This rifle is easy to use with one hand and can fire short bursts of energy. The butt of the rifle contains a long lasting power cell, which can be recharged at a conventional power outlet. Biography: Ruggero was born in a little town called Waspen, north of Station Square. His father owned a factory, which made generators and his mother, was a schoolteacher. Ruggero was first fascinated by machines at a very young age after being given a kids book by his mother called ‘How this machine works’ which had some nice pictures of gears, conveyor belts and other mechanical items. Later, when he was a few years older, he was taken to his dad’s factory and was amazed at what he saw and what he heard. He felt like he wanted to be there forever, but he wasn’t able to, since children weren’t supposed to be in such a building as that. At around that time, his brother, Chichiro was born. Ruggero didn’t pay much attention to him though. When he was young, he always took the keys to the gas and electrical meters of his house and watch them for an hour or two and then he would go to his room and draw an odd looking machine or a robot. Other times he would try and watch TV shows about robots, all of these would increase his fascination. He had a good start in elementary school, with science and math being his high key points. He wouldn’t socialize though and would normally be seen in out of bounds areas watching the school’s ventilation system and other machines, which he considered interesting. As he did this far too often, it was rare to ever see him at break times and while some kids tried to pick on him, he simply ignored them and moved on. His high school years were of relevance to him as he hung around the tech studies building and even though he was good at math and science, he excelled in the tech work, especially electronics and metalwork. He also spent his break time looking at all the various lathes and other tech machines, inside and out, to see how they worked. Of course, he was picked on the rest of the time by schoolmates who he didn’t want to hang around with. At one stage got his father to go to the factory again and he was able to see the process close up this time. He knew what he wanted to be. A mechanical engineer. After high school, he went to a special technical college in Waspen, where he learned more about the realms of electronics and machines. He also researched robotics, knowing that they would be a key source of work in the future. In his spare time at college, he used his knowledge to construct his very first machine. A robot, which he called Ansley Hams. Ansley had a very funny way of walking. Its main purpose was to follow Ruggero around to see if it can follow him via a wireless link between an antenna on Ansley’s head and one on a wristband Ruggero wore. He also created and piloted a 1:10 scale remote control steamboat on the local river, which was where he got the nickname ‘Captain Ruggero’, a name that he decided to keep. Unfortunately, his robot Ansley was destroyed after some of Ruggero’s former classmates had heard about what he did and destroyed Ansley and beat up Ruggero after a walk outside of town. This was when Ruggero started to become anti-social towards humanity. His college was well known for having a rifle team and Ruggero decided to sign up to learn marksmanship while he was studying to help him defend himself against those who wish to make his life miserable. All this time, there were some pretty well known catastrophic events going on in the world, but he ignored them as he found them irrelevant to his own life. He was 21 when he finished college. He gave the boat to them as a reminder that he was there. From there, he began to draw several designs at home of several machines. Robots, mechs, vehicles and at one stage, finished a design plan of a gigantic spaceship in the form of a building. He worked at a part time job throughout his college years to make up some money to try and make some of these designs. He didn’t want his efforts in the rifle team to go to waste, so he designed and made an energy rifle, converted from an old assault rifle he bought at a gun store. He also made an assistant robot called MAROS, the Mechanical Autonomic Robotic Operating System. With that, he knew what he wanted to see in the future, a world of technology, where robots would do human jobs and machines had made the world a much better place. He was still a researcher and one day on the Internet, when he was 22; he discovered documents relating to Professor Gerald Robotnik. Going even further, he discovered the one thing that probably had him staring at the computer screen for half an hour. Space Colony ARK. Something so huge and marvelous was intriguing to him as to how something like that existed and still does today. Ruggero was saddened by the discovery that Gerald was executed by G.U.N and from then on, he sought a view on the government. His opinion was that they weren’t doing a good job in terms of technological advancement and wanted to see something change. His mood was worsened when he later heard his dad’s factory was shut down by council because of environmental concerns. That’s when he researched on Gerald further and discovered that Gerald had a relative, a living relative, that brought Ruggero to such great lengths of joy, Gerald’s grandson. It seems this Robotnik was well known for events that seemed to happen while Ruggero was at college and was still doing things now that Ruggero was certainly impressed with. Ruggero thought that his beliefs would be realized if Robotnik was in charge of government so he made it his personal goal to join Robotnik’s empire and see that his beliefs were realized. Before leaving. He entered the now empty factory. What was once a busy and productive place was now cold and lifeless. That’s when he was confronted by his brother, Chichiro, more commonly known as C.K. He had read Ruggero’s research about Robotnik and knew from watching news stories that Ruggero was going to make a terrible mistake. He told Ruggero that Robotnik was evil and that joining him would make him a criminal. Ruggero took this as an insult and a fight ensued. Ruggero lost after an accident involving one of the machines being switched on and him getting mangled in it. He had to have both his legs amputated, though this didn’t stop him from designing. He focused his attention on making new robotic legs for himself, which took another year. These would be powered by powerful batteries, which he would recharge in his sleep. The process of attaching the legs to his body was long and painful, but well worth it thanks to MAROS. Afterwards, he spent months on training to fight with his new legs, knowing that he would be facing some close combat situations later on in life. His beliefs remained unchanged and now he was at a point where he wanted to go search for Robonik. He restored an old motorcycle his dad had for years and when finished, he departed Waspen, knowing that one day, he would return to retrieve the work he had left behind. He doesn’t need to worry about them being left at his parent’s house at the moment as MAROS would be there to protect them. Moves/Combat style: Ruggero would mainly use his gun when he gets into a fight. His aims quite good which helps him in small easy fights. However, if the need arises, he’ll use his legs. He has trained himself with a variety of kicking moves, sometimes combining them with some punch or grab moves to try and do more damage. He’d normally aim at someone’s chest, but is able to use his legs to trip somebody as well as aim for the opponent’s head if need be. Skills: Engineering: Ruggero is a highly experienced mechanical engineer. He could turn a worthless piece of junk into working like new if he wanted to. He knows what parts to use and what would work best with what and has been known to fabricate his own parts sometimes, if they are metal of course. Design: Ruggero has designed many machines, even though not all of them have being actually produced for one reason or another. He never misses any detail of the machine he’s designing so that he would know exactly what to do when he has the sufficient tools and items to build it. He’s also good at metalwork, electronics and programming as part of his original study at college. Marksmanship: His training in the rifle team at college has earned him a very good aim with guns, particularly with his energy rifle. However, he hasn’t trained with moving targets, which would seem to be a little bit more difficult, but not too hard to shoot. Legwork: He has been able to use his robotic legs to the best of their abilities; therefore he is capable of using his legs to a greater extent than the average human. Strengths: + Good with machines + Good with computers and electronics + Determined + Follows orders if given one. + Will work on projects to the best of his abilities to make sure they turn out the way he wants them to. + Has been able to defend himself with his legs. Weakness: - His legs are vulnerable to EMP. Depending on how big the blast; his legs could slow down in function to disabling completely. - Without his legs and his gun, he is practically disarmed as he isn’t as good of a fighter with his hands. - Sometimes he thinks he has more energy than what he really has, this is due to his legs and even though theoretically he could run longer than a normal human, his upper body wouldn’t take it. - Even though he accepts offers to help, he never seeks it when working on a project, sometimes believing he can do it himself. - He doesn’t know how to cope in some situations without technology to aid him, especially if he’s in a place like a jungle or a desert. - He never really understood what love is about.
