Joshlafina Tails Goochenheyer
Name: Joshlafina Tails Goochenheyer
Age: 18
Gender: female
Alignment: Neutral
Writing Alias: Tails... the reason she doesn't feel like using her actual name is because it's just too long. She chose Tails as her alias because it's short and simple and it helps her to not have to try and put Tales as her alias, because they already know that. It may confuse readers into thinking that the writer is Miles Tails Prower, but when the readers see her portrait, they realize that someone just wanted to use that name for their works.

Appearance: She looks like a total bombshell. Bombshell as in every guy wants her. But when they get to know her it is entirely different. It’s like she gets harder to fall in love with as the person is around her more often. She has one tail and her eyes are hazel eyes. She is a blue arctic fox and she usually wears informal outfits. She has pointy ears and her nose is a hot pink. She usually wears shoes instead of sandals, because she doesn’t really like looking at other people’s feet. Her face will normally seem expressionless. She tries not to pack a lot of makeup on her, but does make sure she has enough on her to look dashing.

Personality: She’s extremely blunt and can seem expressionless if anyone were looking at her face. It’s very hard for her to express how she feels, but that doesn’t mean that there’s an absence of emotion within her. She is schizophrenic, which means she has thoughts and visions that she can’t control unless she gets pills to take by her doctor.

Because she can seem emotionless, it can be off putting to a lot of people who don’t know what her condition is. She suffers from the schizophrenic “flat affect” and that greatly affects her personality and how she expresses herself through other means of communication. Whether it be writing or drawing, even then it can seem like there’s no emotion in her works and yet she will tell the people otherwise, because she knows - even if it doesn’t appear to others - that she mustered every fiber of emotion and life into her works.

It is very difficult for her to talk to others and carry on a conversation, which usually means that she won’t ever be able to have a relationship with anyone - male or female - unless somehow she can overcome the limitations of her personality that is molded by her schizophrenia.

Despite it is difficult for her to express emotion, her eyes will fill in the gap, so you’ll know what is going through her mind if you look at how her eyes respond to subtle things. Depending on what she feels will be shown by her eyes.

Other than that, she feels depressed, but it’s difficult to tell. As her story goes along, she starts feeling better about herself. As I said before, she is extremely blunt and it can be off putting when you try and see what she is feeling, because it doesn’t seem like there’s any life coursing through the body. Or, at least, thinking that Tails has no soul and is just a body working by remote.

Biography:

Before Joshlafina Tails Goochenheyer ever was born, it was likely that the family had some sort of hardships going on in between. It was a very harsh reality for her mother, but a trump card for the father. They were both in college at the same time, although Tails’ dad went to college for four years and then went to a very expensive college for very smart people and he had free ride. Her dad forced her mother into having sex constantly and ultimately Tails was born by mistake.

Because the great grandmother on her father’s side had schizophrenia, Tails too received schizophrenia as an inherited disease in the brain. Schizophrenia makes it hard to express emotion and it’s like she or he is lost to the world. It greatly affected Tails’ personality. She received this when she was born, but it didn’t manifest itself until she reached the age of eighteen.

As a child, Tails would just sit in cars, schools, church and formal places without expressing herself. She would eat, that was a given, but despite all that you would have to force her into talking, using a napkin, wiping off her face when she was done eating, and all sorts of things that were apart of her personality.

She had a favorite tree she used to go to nearby her house and she still sits in it today. She doesn’t eat the apple off the tree however, because she’d been taught that if you pick from a tree there’s a very huge chance that you’ll come across an earth worm.

As she was a child and grew older, it still seemed like she was shut down to the world. Because she didn’t really participate in daycare before she went to school for her first time, the grandparents that were raising her at the time and the daycare employee was worried that Tails wasn’t learning anything and that she was possibly autistic.

Tails was taken to doctors to see what was wrong with her and to figure out why she didn’t do what a normal person did in the natural environment. Tails first had to go to a face recognition test. Since her grandma was there, they used her face and another person’s face to see what would happen. Tails ended up passing, but what the doctors didn’t catch was the schizophrenia going on in her brain.

While the two faces were being shown, Tails was hearing voices inside her head that made her worry what she was feeling, despite the fact her face appeared emotionless to the whole situation. However, what the doctors detected was brain activity that was excited to see her grandma and was off putted by seeing this woman she never knew. So she passed. They declared that it wasn’t autism, but they had absolutely no idea that it was schizophrenia. Tails would go through other tests concocted by the doctor to see if she tested for other diseases that would affect the brain, but still no luck. They decided to stop and declared that there was nothing wrong with her.

She watched a PG-13 movie when she turned seven and then upgraded to rated R when she was ten, because of her father. To her, because she never ever got to see her biological father that much, her real father is a butt-hole. She hates that SOB.

When she became thirteen, her father asked her to live with him for a little while. Despite the fact that she was only there for a duration of a school year in high school, it was hell. Her father sent her through his version of boot camp and made her feel like she didn’t matter. Granted, she seemed happier, but she felt it was something that was faked.

Her father hit her constantly and as her life there coursed through she gained many bruises on her arms, legs and even her face. When her family that were elsewhere invited her over someplace for a family reunion, she didn’t hesitate to get out of that hellhole her father put her through.

When her other family members at the reunion saw her arms, legs and face with bruises they asked what happened to her. Tails simply replied, “You know.”

The thing was that they didn’t know, but it dawned on them that it must have been her biological father. Her grandma asked, “Was it your father who gave you those bruises?”

Tails finally was able to express emotion, but it was very difficult to tell, other than seeing her cry and it was comforting to her that someone actually cared. “Yes, it was my father. I love you grandma.”

“I love you too sweetie.”

For the duration of her life her father would show up here and there, but he was a lot softer on her than before. The problem was he still made himself sound like a butt-hole. An arrogant jerk. He talked to her about not getting over the fact that she left him to live elsewhere.

When she became 18, she had a psychotic breakdown and had to be sent to the hospital. After telling the nurses and the doctor what happened, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The reason she was sent to the hospital and diagnosed with schizophrenia was because she was hurting herself and something had to be done. She got an army finger nail clippers. It had a can opener and a pocket knife to go with it. She scraped off the skin from her left arm with the can opener and then she spotted a knife. If a friend wasn’t there to stop her, she would have committed suicide just after destroying her works.

She survived and was put on medication.

Moves/combat style: street fighting.

Skills: She uses her skills of drawing and writing to express her feelings. However, it doesn’t mean that she is the best at doing what she does partake in just for the fun of it. Because of her schizophrenia, it is very difficult for her to put emotion into her writing, so her works usually seem flat and most of the time it’s hard to get into the story. She’s been writing since she was a kid, so she’s had a lot of experience, but she didn’t manage to convey any emotion into her writings until she became 17... So in a since you could say that she’s still a novice. She also draws, but not as often as she’d like, so it too is difficult to express emotion in that part of her personality as well. She doesn’t draw as well as she can write, but if you ever looked at any of those two ways in which she expresses herself you wouldn’t know that she poured her soul into it.

She is very limited in what she can do, because of her schizophrenia.

Strength: She is agile and can stand her own.

Weakness: Because of her schizophrenia, she starts out very slow and can get knocked out while she’s trying to get focused on what she’s doing. As the fight progresses, she’ll get faster, but it’ll take her awhile.

Strength: She can write and draw.

Weakness: Because of her schizophrenia, it is also hard to express emotion in her works. Her works seem very flat and stilted. Her characters seem very blunt just like her characteristics.

(if you find this character to be unfit to be in a RPG, let me know.)
