RE: Worried
Hey guys. Um..... I'll be upfront- I need help. Badly.
You know how I said something in an earlier post about other Lowells not making it through car accidents? Well, our most recent one was my Uncle Sergio. (Don't try to pronounce it if you have a tongue stud unless you want massive bleeding.) See, he died the same weekend I was hospitalized- in a completely unrelated accident that took place only a few minutes away from my own. Thing is, he listed me as one of his nephews he wanted to do his.... what's it called? That speech thing you give at funerals. Eulogic? I don't know. But, see, the problem is.... the guy was a total... um... @-$-$-h-a-t. Really. I mean, really really. Most of the Lowells (not including me) disliked him greatly for quite a few personal/family happenings. And believe me, our family takes a BIIIIG stock in family relations- hey, you would too if you had 56 people living in the same house. So what am I to do??? My twin-sis' told me "Lie your butt off if ya have to!" But, at the same time, that'd be going against certain morals my family also takes stock in. I'm, as my dear friend Ajiryn put it, 'royally [OMG censored construction apparatus]'. I couldn't think of anyone else to ask but you guys. I can't go to my family because, well, this is something I REALLY think they shouldn't be aware off. Anyone have any tips on how to slide by a Eulogus-thingy without lying too much but also coming across as politely sincere? |

RE: Worried
Don't be so detailed in your speech.
He had a long well lived life blablabla. |
