RE: The Ebony Celeste
From his position on the bridge, Sly thought he saw a flash of quick movement near the front of the tanker, on the port side...like somebody who didn't want to be seen. They hadn't seen the lifeboat in a while, so it might have been possible they'd missed it and the so-called heroes were already here. He radioed the deck F4 grunts.
"Listen, some of you get off the lights. We may have already been boarded. Especially check the port side near the bow. I think I saw something over there. Report in immediately if you see anything strange." When they had just been wandering, the F4 grunts walking around started to actively search for anything strange. In the meantime, Sly brought out his binoculars and started to scan the last place he'd seen the fast movement. However, there was enough space to crawl under the pipes to the cranes, if Qesun and Toby still wanted to go ahead with their distraction plan. But it would be slower going, and time wasn't a luxury they had anymore. --- The kangaroo just laughed in Tech's face. "Wow...subtle aren't you? You're going to kick me in the balls while I'm doing that, aren't you? That's what the heroine always does after the grunts finish untying her so they can get busy." The shepherd was still chuckling himself. "You do realize we've got fifty trained soldiers on this boat, right? Even if you took out one you'd still have to get past the rest of us and then find a way off the boat. I think that's a pretty tall order for a damsel like yourself." |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
(Gonna get it in before I go to work so you guys can keep moving a bit while I'm out)
It was finally about now that Qesun finally drew his weapons out, the odd addition to the ends catching Toby's attention. "Yeesh. You actually plan on using those?" Toby asked, raising an eyebrow when he spotted the larger bayonets on the ends of QJ's pistols. "They're weapons are-gcckk!" He never had time to finish, suddenly startled by equally sudden action. Toby grabbed Qesun's arm as soon as he saw an opening and went, going alongside the pipes as long as they could before getting back under and making their way more slowly to the next piece of cover. "Warn me next time?" QJ stated, slightly rattled from it. Toby shook his head. "Naw. That would just slow us down." Qesun peered out again. People were moving now. Actively searching. They didn't have time anymore before either them or the guys on the side of the deck were found. Time for a new plan. "Toby, keep moving." "...What?" "Yea, get out of here. I'm going to distract them now. Give them something to take interest in." "You crazy much?" "I went on this little endeavor, didn't I. Go." Toby nodded with a more then slightly worried look on his face now and kept moving under the pipes with the next opening. Once Toby was on his way, QJ began tapping on the bridge he was under with his blade. 3 taps, pause, 3 taps, pause. Something to try and get somebody curious and close enough. |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
The sky had become depressed as it hid it's blue face from them behind a thick sheet of clouds. Midday turned to twilight, the seas rose to six feet tossing James' small vessel about in the rough seas. "great...this is perfect...thanks mother nature for once again spicing up life!" James said sarcastically as he hung on to the bow of boat. "Dudes I think we should probably reef thoses sails..." Danny said hanging on to James for support as the deck bounced about under his feet.
Suddenly, through the grey seascape, came of a beacon of light on the horizon. James eyes widened realizing that this was it. "Cut the lights, cut the music, everything!" James yelled to Jordan in the cockpit. They quickly scampered abour the deck shutting the lights down and drawing down the sails. James and Danny ran into the cockpit to hide from view although they seriously doubted that anyone could see anyone on the deck from that sort of distance. "well...I guess it's time" James said going below to go over the plan one more time before they executed it. |

Tech chuckled. "How exactly am I supposed to demonize my kiss offering when my feet are tied up? You guys are stupid for thinking I'd sink to your level. All I want is a heart warming kiss before I become a possession."

RE: The Ebony Celeste
[I guess it's my turn now, yes?]
An F4 grunt turned to look at Qesun's tapping noise. Grimacing, he made sure he had a full load on his AK and slowly walked over...before waving for a second grunt to come over. Together...the two of them headed towards the bridge where they'd heard the knocking...weapons drawn. --- "Even if you aren't gonna kick me in the sack...I get the feeling Sly won't be too happy about me doing that. And I'm a lot more afraid of him than I am of you. He pays well, but he basically views us as meatsacks with guns. Nothing more than expendable assets..." The kangaroo let out a little sigh at that last comment. |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
[[How far out from Qes are they?]]
Qesun kinda grimaced when he peaked out of his hiding spot to check who was coming. At first it looked like only one was coming, but then he used his brain and brought a friend along. Which meant he had to plan for two. Not really one of his strongest talents, but it was what he was given to work with. He quietly shifted himself into a crouched position to ready himself and waited for the pair to get a little closer: both to each other and to himself. Toby, on the other hand, was making good progress towards the cranes. Just a little while longer now. |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
(Whose turn is it? You know we do have four people posting right? Since Jav didn't reply it was suppossed to be my turn today, right?)
Tech asked. "Then why would you even want to work for him? And one more thing, would I be considered an expendable asset or just some prized possession so he can make his poor little vixen lose her virginity?" I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
[They'll be on you after this post]
One grunt stood at the back, assault rifle levelled in the general direction where the sound had come from. The other one shouldered his rifle and drew out a handgun...moving slowly now. He started to crouch down as he got nearer to the bridge. --- "Who else would hire us?" the kangaroo shrugged. "Most of us got kicked out of the army for excessive force...especially when we turned on our human comrades. F4 was founded to enslave humanity, you know...although Sly doesn't seem to care much about that. It's all about the money now." He chuckled a bit. "I thought I'd hate that, but for once we're actually well paid for what we do. Who needs ideologies when you've got lots of cash?" The german shepherd piped in too. "Oh, and I definitely think Sly would take you home as a consolation prize tonight if we don't get our money. Just go along with it, and maybe he'll let you go after he's finished. If you don't give him a reason to kill you, he won't do it. He's not into just killing people for the fun of it." |

RE: The Ebony Celeste
Qesun held on just a little longer. He wanted to limit his chances of ending up being the one shot up. Granted, it would have probably helped to not try and pull this stunt off in the first place, but it was a little late for that now. He slowly shifted himself down into the stance a runner takes before taking off. And then he did so as fast as he could manage without losing control. At first his weapons just followed, but soon they were raised up as he curled in. He wanted to put the closer one in between him and the other guy. After that, QJ fired his opening shots, aimed both at the shoulder of the shooting arm of the one with the pistol, in an effort to make it difficult to shoot without killing the guy outright. 'And now they're all gonna kill me.'
Meanwhile, Toby had clambered his way out and made his way over to a crane, slowly getting up into it and sitting down at the controls, looking them over for a moment while he made heads or tails of them. His motivation to try at them came from the sound of shots being fired. The machination started swinging about for a moment as he tried them out, and soon he realized what the easiest thing to do with it would be. His first real swing was done in the general direction of the bridge tower. |
