RE: A Slice of Life
(This is out of order, I know, but I'm leaving with Amy anyway so I don't think it matters to much)
Shadow's attention quickly snapped away from his anger at himself as he heard the door slam shut. He quickly moved up to the corner of the building and glanced around it just long enough to see that his suspicions were confirmed, Amy was leaving again. She seemed to be in quite a rush, so he could only assume she was headed back to the scene of whatever had befallen her before. He quickly pulled back into the alley and jumped up onto the wall in front of him, pushing off and jumping higher onto the wall opposite just before he fell. He proceeded as such, leaping back and forth between the walls, until he finally emerged on top of the building, at which point he shot forward with a boost of speed from his Air Shoes, quickly but stealthily following Amy on the rooftops. RE: A Slice of Life
(I’ll be skipping Links as well since I need to be following the rest of them. *shifty eyes*)
“Huh?” It was the only thing he could seem to utter. He had been staring into space, when he finally had noticed that they cat had very well had began to start going away. Decoe quickly got up and followed it at least to the one edge of the house as the cat scuttled with an up-beat movement, purring happily. But, as soon as he was at the edge, he stopped, seeing that the small cat was heading straight for the busy street away from the alleys-ways in which he strictly kept himself to. He didn’t completely understand why, but this seemed to scare him slightly. For some reason, he felt like the white and grey cat probably shouldn’t be just roaming busy streets. But following it in broad daylight was simply not a good idea; despite he’s urge to somehow get the cat to safety. He looked to the left and saw there was at least a piece or two of fencing was in fact quiet short. It may of not be the kind to simply jump over, but there was a chance he could a little (what’s the word….) Innovation? Yeah, innovation to get over it. He looked over the edge of the house to see if it was clear before he pressed the small buttons located at the sides of his shows before we went into a full out run, and began to ‘sort of’ walk up the fence. ‘Sort of’, as in three steps seemed to work before he felt the downward feel of gravity in which loved him so. He quickly began to scramble, clawing at the wooden board in which, he managed to at least grab the top of the boards with his left hand. Quickly, he reached with his right and placed both of his fleet flat on the board. Once they were secure, he pushed his legs off and flipped over the fence, not letting go. The theory was, that if he didn’t let go of the fence, he wouldn’t crash on the ground. The theory was correct, but he didn’t theorize that he might crash into the fence it’s self, in which he did, in which managed to loosen his grip and fall to the ground, nosily. But Decoe didn’t have much time (as he figured) to simply lay around, so he quickly got himself and began to follow making sure along the way, he wasn’t seen with his gear’s on to help make sure he wouldn’t make as much as he already had. ____ Meanwhile, the little cat followed the pink hedgehog merrily. A certain aroma had caught it’s attention in which made the cat very, very interested. It weaved through the people on the street without seemingly being noticed. But it didn’t care too much about that. All it cared about was what was the pink hedgehog. [To Living in the City ] |

RE: A Slice of Life
Tifa was left sitting on her own again, wondering just what had happened. Whatever it was Amy had certainly been in a rush to leave. She raised a paw and gently rubbed her forehead for a moment before glancing over at the window and shaking her head.
"Martin dear, would you get me a drink? I think we still have some of that fresh ginger left in the cupboard, second one on the left." Marting gave a small nod, raising from his seat on the ground, "Sure, no problem." He turned and started to make his way towards the kitchen. "Oh and, could you lock the front door, I don't think I could manage any more visitors today. And if you wouldn't mind, when you get back I'd appreciate one of your shoulder rubs...I need to relax." Martin just gave a small nod and continued on his way, smiling quietly to himself. |
