A interesting find
I found this fangame demo on a site before, and it raised a few intesting questions.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zujZCFc-...re=related (PT1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n--wehgig...re=related (PT2) What do you think would have happened if Eggman actually expected to be defeated again, and what DID happen to the death egg after Sonic's last battle on it. Did it blow in space? Or did what happened in this video happen elsewhere? o_O Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: A interesting find
Your Sparrow of Grammatical Professionalism lost a few feathers when you wrote that topic title, Tutley. You're supposed to use "a" to precede consonant sounds and "an" to precede vowel sounds.
But on topic, this is all right. Does this have any relation to that Sonic Nexus thing that turned up on the shoutbox the other day? Kitty O'Brien of KBS News. HQ in Station Square, but she appears on every television in the country. Other characters: Jijeka-Te |

RE: A interesting find
Nope, their two different games. Except Nexus is alive and well, and their going to relese it "hopefully" by winter. Sonic XG however, was absorbed by the Sonic Retro community fangame team...and well, their so overstaffed, nothing gets done. By keeping a small staff, with 1 guy in charge, Nexus has survived. =p
And well, at least you didn't literally throw the book at me Kitty. XD Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: A interesting find
The Sonic Retro team gets nothing done because they're overstaffed? How does that work?!

RE: A interesting find
It makes perfect sense if you think about it. If too many people work on the same project, it's hard to keep track of who did what and when they did it. You need to dedicate a lot of resources and time to keeping track of all that. Spreadsheets, meetings, phone calls, all that good stuff. Not to mention, the more people that are involved in decisions, the more potential you have for conflicting opinions and deadlock. Believe me, I run into the same problems at my job.
This is why a monarchy is theoretically the best system of government, assuming the monarch himself is completely incorruptible and has access to as much information as possible. Of course, I do stress the word "theoretically". Good luck finding somebody who fits these qualifications. But anyway, you only have one person (the king) making all the decisions and handling everything, and he doesn't have to go through committees or hold votes or anything. Everything gets done rapid fire since only his own opinion needs to be considered. Contrast with the American federal government where there's constant deadlock over many decisions, like bailouts for example. |
