RE: The Shady Outskirts
Denalik was just getting ready to turn and leave, when Sly called him back. The hybrid raised a feathered eyebrow (not that Sly could see it deep in his hood). "A kidnapping?" He shook his head. "I was hoping for a murder or something, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose. So who's the unlucky victim?"

RE: The Shady Outskirts
Sly withdrew three photos from his wallet...one was a purple vixen with long hair, a gray fox with oddly wolf-looking yellow eyes, and two young fox children...one a boy with red coloring and the other a girl with the same coloring as the fox in the second photo. This was Canma Neuyan, her ex-husband Nail Strafer, and their two children Cebran and Ellia. He used their photos of her a lot to remind F4 members to report any and all information they discovered on their whereabouts. Anyway, he handed Denalik the pictures.
"The primary target is her, Canma Neuyan." Sly pointed at the first photograph. "She must be brought to me alive at all costs. Do not under any circumstances kill her. Understand? VERY important. However, if it makes your mission easier, wounding is perfectly fine." Then he pointed at the other two photographs. "The gray fox is Nail Strafer, her husband...and their two children Ellia and Cebran. There'll be a bonus in it for you if you can capture them too, but it's not necessary. Once again, they're no good dead. Keep them alive. Also, if you can't find Canma bring them to me anyway. We can use them to lure her out. But I think they'll stick together anyway since they're such a loving family." He chuckled a little at the last remark. "Their last known location was a mansion on South Island at these coordinates". Sly rattled some off. "However, that was over two weeks ago so they're probably nowhere near there. But maybe you can find clues there. Anyway, sound simple enough? And I can provide you with a third of the reward here in a little bit, so it'll help you with startup costs." |

RE: The Shady Outskirts
"Seems simple enough. Find them, nab them, bring them back alive. Easy." Denalik smiled slyly within the folds of his hood. "I'll have them back before you know I'm gone." Denalik took another long pull from his Chao Cola, wiped his mouth, and turned back to Sly. "Though I do feel I gotta ask just what exactly the reward will be. Just for my information."

RE: The Shady Outskirts
[Hmm...I don't want to name an exact figure, considering it's not necessary and it might complicate things. So we'll do this.]
Sly gave a halfways smile and whispered the amount into his ear. |

RE: The Shady Outskirts
Denalik's eyes widened considerably. "That's... that's a lot. If all your jobs pay that well, then you've definately got yourself your own personal ninja." He smiled and stepped back. "Well alright then, I guess I'd better get right on it. At these prices I'm sure you can't afford to have me wasting any time."

RE: The Shady Outskirts
"Exactly." Sly nodded. "The sooner you bring her back, the better. Anyway, like I said...that mansion in South Island would be a good starting point. It's right by the sea, and painted white, I believe. Shouldn't be too hard to spot, considering how the island is mostly uninhabited. Anyway, I suppose we should talk about how I'll get you the first part of your fee. You look like you will need the money to get started."

RE: The Shady Outskirts
Denalik took a final pull from his bottle of cola, emptying it, then tossed the glass bottle off to the side, shattering it on a wall. "Yeah, money to start me off would be good. It'd be a lot easier to rent a boat than steal one, and there'll be less cops tailing me. So, how am I gonna get this startup cash?"

RE: The Shady Outskirts
Sly simply reached into his wallet, pulled out a wad of bills, and slapped it right into Denalik's hand. "That way. And there's plenty more where that came from, if you do a good job."

RE: The Shady Outskirts
Denalik took the bills with a smirk so wide Sly could probably even see it under his hood. "You know Sly, you really know how to speak my languange. I look forward to working with you in the future. After I get this Canma woman for you, of course." The hybrid pocketed the bills somewhere within his jacket, then performed a mocking salute and turned away. "I'll have her back in no time boss, don't you worry."
Without another word, Denalik walked down the street and turned a corner, dissapearing into a dead-end alley and not coming back out. |
