Pirates of the Jungle

[Captain Olive]

(Olive) "Shiver me timbers, we finally got somethin'!"

Two weeks had passed since the Swimming Devil's botched attack on Station Square's harbor. Now Captain Olive had increased its stores of treasure, and had just finished a brief dig at the Mystic Ruins coast. Digging around in the ruins was more the work of an archeologist than a pirate, but if it fills the hold, who's to complain?

Among their haul they found a few stone statues, a handful of gold relics, and a bizarre talisman. It was the talisman that piqued Olive's interest as she returned to her ship.

(Olive) "What in the name of Davy Jones be this thing? Looks like an old-fashioned belt buckle. Roger, what be yer opinion?"
(Roger) "Looks like a valuable talisman, but no ordinary talisman. This and several others like it are connected to an ancient legend. Apparently, when they're all found and brought together, a great power is unleashed."
(Olive) "Well, even if that legend turns out to be a white whale, I bet they'll be quite the addition to me treasure collection. Any clue where the others be?"
(Roger) "Well..."

((At first I thought there would be more to this... but I've spoken with the other person this little mini-plot is going to involve, and we're moving to another location.))

Roger checked his book. "If my notes are correct, there should be one at Never Lake."

Olive nodded. "Then let's set sail! Treasure awaits! Chart a course for the shoreline nearest Never Lake!"

It took only a matter of minutes to chart a course and get the Swimming Devil moving. (EXIT OLIVE)
