RE: Business as Usual
Espio opened the door casually, to let the client out. "Well, I have no questions at the moment...and yourself Vector?"

RE: Business as Usual
The crocodile turned his chair so he was facing away from the man and looking out over the city through the window behind.

"Expect us within three days, Corpral," was all he said.

"Very well, till we meet again. We'll be in contact if any other leads turn up." And with that the corporal departed the Chaotix office.

"Well then...", Espio said as he stepped out the door. "Shall we begin?", he asked the croc with a grin.

RE: Business as Usual
[ As long as Espio is still around. ]

"It's been a long time," Vector said, returning the smile. The two of them hadn't worked on a real detective case together for a long time, and not form the start if you counted fighting off the aliens invaders in Radical City. "It's time to show the world what the new Chaotix are made of."

Grabbing a small carrying case and slinging it around his shoulder Vector heading out of the office and down the stairs, this time getting all the way. On the street outside he climbed aboard his green-painted motorcycle and gestured to the chameleon.

"Hop on."

RE: Business as Usual
With a slight sigh, Espio threw a leg onto the vehicle and hopped aboard, giving the sides a light kick. "I never will understand the point of using such a loud and noisy machine to get around...", he said took a look look at the road ahead. "But nethertheless, lets go."

RE: Business as Usual
"We don't all run as fast as cars on a highway pal," the croc said with a hearty laugh. Espio and Mighty could both keep up with Sonic if he was taking it easy, and Charmy could zip around at high speed too. Vector used to be pretty slick, but his extra muscles now slowed him down quite a bit when it came to distance running.

"So... what do you think of this case, Espio?" he asked as they started down the road. Vector's tone had turned more serious.

RE: Business as Usual
Espio closed his eyes as the wind brushed against him for a moment, before opening his eyes. "This mission seems to be rather simple actually. With my tracking training and your detective work, this should be simpler than walking on water. And once we locate him, it's just one target...a cinch..", he replied with a shrug of his shoulders. "This seems to be even easier than I thought it was in the office." The croc would likely notice Espio's one major hindsight still existed. He never could really see the big picture without anyones help. Always looking ahead, dead ahead, was, is, and will likely remain Espio's way of thinking.

"Just don't underestimate the competition Espio," the leader warned with a gruff laugh. "According to his sheet this guy's managed to stay out of their hands for a long time."
