Living in the City

I breathed a wisp of relief as Tutley pulled up. The awkward silence that had hazed us finally unveiled leaving me feeling dazed yet but a little bit better. It was pretty crazy how much could happen in one day although it wasn't as much of a wake up call as the time Sarath had leveled Capitol City some weeks ago and even the GUN recruit cruise before then. Still, it wasn't exactly something I enjoyed being preoccupied with. Worse still, now I was the target.

I gave the robots one last glance before I made for the fire escape with Jack. If Shadow didn't obliterate them like Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, my guess was that they weren't up to anything exceptionally traumatizing. Following my intuition had never led me wrong at least. I guess it was more so my other concerns which I was holding a lot higher than those two at the moment. Part of me wondered if we'd even have any luck finding whoever was associated with that buck from before.

Shaking my head, I pulled a slight sideways smile. Worrying, well, it was like me. But it wasn't going to do me any good at this point.

[Tails]

Tails walked through the alleyway with his head down and gasping for air. He had never ran that far in all his life. He sat down, sweat pouring down his face. He looked up after a few minutes and noticed Amy was there. It was his lucky break. Whatever they were about to do in the car, he didn't know; all he knew was that he had to keep an eye on Amy.

Tails breathed heavily. "I can't believe I found them. I'll wait, I'll follow, but I won't get too close."

[I understand that you are trying to jump in and fast, but I think it would benefit you to work on Tails' dialogue a little. It seems like he had planned to meet them there all along (little bit of a metagaming feel).]
