RE: Living in the City
(First off, sorry for such a bad post. Secondly, Decoe is –so- totally on the fire escape now….>> << )
“…” Decoe stood in dead silence. What was going on? Well, it wasn’t any of his business anyways, so there was no point in trying to figure everything out. He sighed very quietly, making sure it wouldn’t be heard by anyone else. Well, the cat seemed okay so far. Maybe he was just overreacting…like the Professor was telling him. Gerald…. He had to figure out what was going on. Where was he? And why weren’t him and Bocoe with- Bocoe! He forgot! He told him he wouldn’t go too far from where they had stopped at. And he had no clue how far away he was from Bocoe. Decoe took a few steps back, until… --- “Meeeooowwww~” The cat was soon done eating the chip, licking its lips accordingly and then began to rub it’s head with its own paw. Once it was done with that, it began to trot back to Amy before it heard a distinct sound. The cat’s left ear twitched as it turned its course over to the other edge of the building. And once the cat reached the edge, there was a load CLUNK sound as though metal was hitting the pavement. The cat blinked, it’s ears both twitching from the sound as it looked down upon the sad poor sight of the person it had meet early. It blinked more sitting down with its long tail going back and forth in a smooth, snake like motion. “Meeeooooooowwwwwww~” ‘Silly person, you’re not a cat!’ it seemed to have plastered on its face, as it began to swat at the air (which looked more like he was trying to wave at him) as it looked down. -------------- (*)****… saw –ton- doog. ….thaw? This wasn’t good. His vision was now on the frits as it constantly went on and off. And when the vision was back on, everything would be discolored. thaw ionggs no??? Yhw si ti tath ym ordws era gominc uot kile isth? All he did was take a few steps back-oh. That’s right. He took a few step backwards…without looking. He wanted to smack his forehead, but he couldn’t seem to get any response from his arms. This was the –third- time he’d fell to the ground, which must have been going over his damage level as this fall seemed to have messed him up. Hopefully the damage wasn’t –too- bad. It could subside…possible… (* The word in which Decoe is trying to 'say' here is This. But due to the fall, his letters are getting scrammbled in which it switched the places of the T and S which makes it look like the curse word.) |

RE: Living in the City
Jack Wrote:"Either way, by the sounds of it, the only way we'll find out whose behind this is to either wait for them to regroup and find us again, or follow the lead we have." Shadow grimaced and shot the injured hedgehog a rather sharp look. "Right... because waiting for them to attack us is always a good plan," he said, "And the friend of the guy with amnesia is such a good lead, there's no reason we should want to explore any other leads." He shook his head and went silent for a moment, trying to think of anyone he knew that might want Amy dead. At length, a thought came to him. "Amy... you and Sonic were talking about some enemy you both fought before, when we were on the dropship. A white wolf, right? The one who had my emerald? What about him? If you beat him he might be out for revenge... or perhaps his organization... F4, wasn't it? Could it be them?" Controlling the Chaos for fifty years. |

RE: Living in the City
I grit my teeth and another scowl pierced my brow. There had been Joey from a long time ago. I remember I had wacked him pretty good, too. It was such a firm and solid blow, it had knocked him pretty senseless if only for a moment. I didn't know him much past the fight between us though.
"It's possible, I guess. Seems a little overdue, but maybe... That still wouldn't explain the deer's reaction though." I looked back over at Jack. "It seems bizarre that someone would suddenly act like that unless they're a really big coward that's just trying to cover up. I vouch to follow the lead as Jack says. He was here when they interrogated them. But I do think it would kill two birds with one stone. If we find his friend, we could find out if he works for F4 or not. If he does, that would give us another lead. So..." I trailed off as I heard a sudden loud clunk. It sounded almost like someone had shoved a refrigerator off of a building. "What... was that?" My fur relaxed from its bristled form as I scooted over to the edge of the building. I peered over with much caution. |

RE: Living in the City
Jack awkwardly scratched the back of his head at Shadows rather annoyed reaction. Those glares Shadow tended to give him always knew how to shake him. "I was kinda being sarcastic about that stuff about waiting for them to... Never mind."
He gave a shake of the head before he continued "I don't know anything about these "F4" people... In fact, I think I'm going to have a lot of questions for you two in the future about a lot of things you're talking about. My point, though, is that I don't think figuring out whose behind this will help us figure out how to fight back, until we figure out more about how they're brainwashing people like this, and why they want Amy dead. That's why I think we should follow the lead we have. Even if we don't get all the answers we need, anything we do find will be helpful to know if these people come back." The hedgehog looked off to the air sheepishly "...Of course, I guess I've always been better at doing that planning, so...." Before he could go on, the sound of metal slamming into pavement rattled the hedgehog. Amy had already gone over to examine what was going on. Still, it was better to keep by her side while she was a target, so he followed along shortly after. |

RE: Living in the City
Shadow raised an eyebrow as the pair went to the edge of the building, then followed them himself. "What? What's going on? Did you see something? Being the furthest away from the edge at the time (other than Tutley), Shadow hadn't really heard the noise, and so was at a loss as to what everyone else was so interested in. He approached the edge without fear (since a long fall isn't an issue when you can instantly warp from one place to another), but he did glance about to check there weren't too many people around to see him before he leaned forward to see over the edge.

RE: Living in the City
The turtle's screen would momentarily fade out, and come back into focus, showing a adminstrative office, a red anthromorphic flicky sitting behind a desk with her legs propped up on top of it. She gave a yarn as she spun one of her blasters in hand. "Hm? Tutley? What do you want?", she would ask, squinting slightly at the screen.
"Well you see...I'm in need of approval of a rental fo-" "APROVAL?!", she would cut him off. "The Time Agent buisness fund is not a charity case to be used for renting software!", she said as she pulled up a list of the turtle's current transactions on the company's behalf, mostly purchases for computer components or other machines. "Well...it's a bit different this time. You see....", he began to trail off as he scratched his head embarassingly before he began typing a report on the spot, fingers a momentary blur before he tapped the send button. The flicky on screen would turn her laptop, giving it a once over. "Hm...brainwashing...Sonic lookalikes, and rouge transforming racoons....this looks interesting.", she said as she gave a nod as she thought. "Request approved. It's now your assigned mission to look further into this, and report your findings.", she said giving a point in his direction. "And try not to blow half a city to kingdom come like last time.", she joked. Tutley gave a simple salute, with a smile. "And lastly...", she said before looking left, then right. "Be careful." And with that, the screen returned back to the hq's main menu, a chao carrying a large sack of rings accross the screen. "There...now to just wait for the transaction to finish and..." CRASH! The chao hovering beside Tutley would make a exclamation mark with it's antenna, and start flying down the building to investigate the noise. "Of corse....", he mumbled to himself, peering over the edge beside shadow. Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: Living in the City
[IT'S A TRAP! -shot-]
The cat look momentarily at everyone who began to surround the edge of the building, before looking back down. Tail still wish-ing back and forth, the cat proceeded into going down the fire escape, to see its new-found, clumsy friend. ----- Decoe blinked. Nope, that didn’t help. It was still on the frits. And on top of that everything was beginning to get all blurry on him. Man, what did he damage? Well, the only way to find out was to get up. So, he took it slowly. First, he tried to move his head to the righ-….wait a minute. He turned his head only to find out that it turned to the left. Decoe blinked. That…wasn’t….right….. He then tried to turn his head more to the left….but that ended up turning his head to the right! What, was his rotary movements going backwards too?! “Tihs si treag…” He said quietly to himself, getting quickly annoyed at the fact that his words were coming out wrong. |

RE: Living in the City
I could make out someone moving awkwardly below now. I couldn't really see them clearly from being up so high, but it looked like they had fallen on their face. From what? I wasn't really sure. Nothing seemed out of place from last I saw it. Where had that loud sound come from...? It had almost sounded like one of Robotnik's... I found myself grinding my teeth. What the heck? Maybe someone else was after me already?
I stepped back from the edge. It was kind of stupid me to look first anyway when I thought back. I was grinding my teeth more rigidly now and my hammer appeared in my hands. I felt like an idiot, being worried this much. Last time I had let down my guard though, Robotnik had captured me. I wouldn't be surprised if that were to happen again. He had made a national interview not very long ago. Maybe he was on the move again. |

RE: Living in the City
Shadow grimaced as he spotted the figure lying on the pavement below. It looked like they had fallen from the same building the rest of them were standing on... but judging by the faint hint of motion they seemed to still be alive. But just what had they been doing there, coincidentally on the same building as they were? If it had been another situation the black hedgehog would have probably paid it little mind, but there had been an attack here far too shortly ago, so the situation led Shadow to be far more suspicious.
"Be right back," Shadow said without looking away from the figure below, just before leaping right off the side of the building. He landed on his feet, almost cat-like and completely unharmed, touching the pavement with one hand for balance as he landed before standing up and walking over to the prone form of Decoe. Without a word, the hedgehog reached down and siezed him by the collar, lifting him a little off the pavement. Without warning the pair of them vanished in a flash of white light, reappearing back up on the roof a few feet behind the three onlookers. Shadow let go of Decoe, albeit rather roughly, and crossed his arms as he glared into the robot's eyes. "Alright, talk. Who are you? What were you doing up here?" [Sorry... I know that was kinda metagaming, taking Decoe without asking Rose. If anyone wants it changed, I'd be happy to, I just figured since he's incapable of moving he couldn't really stop me anyway, and I thought it'd be the easiest way to move things along. Look on the bright side, Rose: at least you've definately got our attention now! ^^;] Controlling the Chaos for fifty years. |
