RE: Living in the City
"Uuuggghh!! I told you! I don't go around shooting at people for no reason! I don't even know who any of you people are!" Under different circumstances, I might have been more calm, but this is just getting ridiculous. I knew I didn't do anything, and all I had was their word against mine that I had.
"Look, all I remember was leaving my friend at the airport and heading out into the city to do something about those ships that were landing. So unless you're some friends of the people I last remember fighting then tough luck, I don't regret killing any of them! You creeps started it." Well, it looked like switching partners didn't seem to be working to me. The deer is only getting more aggressive, and the raccoon has decided to be tight lipped once again. I didn't pay much attention to the deer's ramblings, none of it made any sense, so I walked back over to the raccoon. I crouched down some distance from Huu so that we were now at eye level. "Kid, unless you start talking and stop fiddling with those cuffs, I'm going to have to start breaking some legs, are we clear?" |

RE: Living in the City
Jack stood and took a step back from the group, arms crossed and eyes going to the ground as he thought about the information he was just given. He sort of wanted to take a step back away from the raccoon, as he seemed to have little worry about what was happening to him, or how serious the situation was. It was what the deer said that interested him more.
"I hate to say it, but we have no idea who these people you were fighting were, either. All the more difficult to make sense of your story. Still... You left your friend at the airport when all of this started happening. You think that if we went there, we might get a little more information about just why you don't remember what happened?" |

RE: Living in the City
Huu went still as Cutter approached him again.
"What do you want from me? I've already told you I'm not the mastermind here. (He glanced over at Chadin.) I don't know a thing about his sudden memory loss, either. This is just a shot in the dark, but if he's telling the truth, then maybe some cuckoo hypnotized him into making this little attack, and he just snapped out of it." |

RE: Living in the City
"Oh, come on. You really think that stuff happens in real life! That sort of thing only happens in movies and comic books." Cutter scoffed. "Besides, I'm pretty sure hypnosis can't force you to do something you don't want to. Secondly, how about you tell us your name, hm? You have one of those don't you?"
Chadin thought for a moment. "Well, Mack might still be there. But he's probably already left the city for Station Square by now." "Hello? Someone called the police?" A human male called out dressed in a policeman's uniform as he walked up the stairs. |

RE: Living in the City
Jack lets out a soft sigh, deep in thought. He gave the cop a nod to acknowledge his existence, but he wasn't quite ready to sic the long arm of the law down on these two... Not yet, anyway. The hedgehog turns to Cutter, unsure of their next move.
"Look... I know you don't believe that this Chadin fellow's amnesia story, but I do. I think we should try and find this Mack person and see if there's any truth to what we're being told. If Chadin is right, he could either be at the airport, or somewhere in this city. The question is, what do we do with these two? I'd like to get them out of my hair... metaphorically speaking." Jack adds a rather arbitrary point to his spines to a rather arbitrary comment on the fact that he, technically, lacked a real hairstyle. Force of habit, one might assume. "But I feel like we need some sort of contact with them. What do you think?" |

RE: Living in the City
Huu remained rather silent. His attention was on the approaching cop. He'd dodged the long arm of the law many times as a thief, he could do it again. He mentally planned his escape.
Thoughts of Chadin kept getting in the way, though. Something about his little amnesia problem kept his attention, and he was the only person who'd witnessed both sides of him firsthand. Maybe he'd do some looking into that, as well. |

RE: Living in the City
"Well, personally I think you should leave this up to the police. But if you boys want to check out this Mack person, then go ahead. As much as I enjoyed the excitement, I have other pressing matters to deal with, particularly my children down below."
"These are the two trouble makers?" One of the two cops asked behind heavy tinted sunglasses. "That's them." I replied as I folded both arms across my chest. "We were down on the street when this one started shooting at us with a crossbow, then the raccoon joined in cause it seemed like fun." "Alright, wise-guys, we're taking ya both downtown." One of the cops walked over to Chadin and hauled him to his feet while the second walked up to Huu. |

RE: Living in the City
((Bahshort. :< ))
"Normally, I would leave this up to someone more qualified, but I'm too curious about this Chadin guys story. Make sure your kids are okay. They probably really need you right now." Jack would have felt terrible if he knew something had happened to them because of all this. Jack turned to leave, but decided to get one last answer out of Chadin before he was hauled off "Wait. Before I go, how will I know this Mack person if I see him? What's he look like?" |

RE: Living in the City
[Blarg, making a new entry post, sorry for the absense.]
Tutley was unusually quiet. Everything that was being claimed by the buck, and what had prevously happened was sounding more and more credible. "So...he claims the last memory he had was in the process of a firefight with laser weapons.", he said tapping his feet in thought. "Sound familiar, Jack?", he asked giving a point or two towards the sky. "For now...I suggest we keep this pair in custody.", he said glaring at the racoon. "Especially that one...he just seems to have come along for the ride, under his own free will." He flashed his G.U.N. personel I.D to the officers. "Keep these two under heavy survailance at the station until I report back. Me and my comraude here are going to investigate into the details of the attack.", he said moving a hand in Jack's general direction. "And don't worry Cutter.", he said with a smile. "Me and Jack should be just fine on our own." He pulled out his computer from his backpack on a single motion, as if it was second nature, which it was. "And just in case, I have the video phone attatchment to my comp." Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: Living in the City
Huu gave the approaching cop a stony glare, but said nothing. He'd dodged the law for years, and he wasn't going to let it come to an end today. He remained completely motionless, waiting for his chance, shooting glances at the others every now and then.
