RE: Living in the City
Jack crossed his arms, somewhat annoyed, that his statement fell on deaf ears. Perhaps Tutleys method of awaking these two worked a little too well. Knowing that beating the information out of these two, though incredibly fun, and a way to work off some frustration, would be a little too counter-productive, the hedgehog waited until the deer looked like he was in a good enough condition to answer before he continued.
Finishing off the fruit Tutley had given him... he was hungrier then he had thought... Jack strolled over, standing above the buck. Jack tried his best to act tough, despite being a skinny little guy. It was too bad he had a cut on his stomach, or else he would have tried to expand himself a bit to try to look a little more intimidating. "I'm only going to ask this once." Jack said, staring the deer down. Who are you, and why did you attack us?" |

RE: Living in the City
((Wait. Was it my turn? You should've said something! I'm on practically all the time!))
Standing firmly on the roof, Huu clutched his pendant with his free hand. Thankfully his captors had overlooked it. He said nothing and did nothing to acknowledge the existence of anyone around him, but glanced at Chadin and Jack. |

RE: Living in the City
While Jack started questioning the buck, I noticed our raccoon friend was standing up clutching something in one hand, despite my best efforts to figure out why. However, as a means to make a distinct point, I reached out to grab the 'coon's collar and moved to quite roughly throw him back to the ground face first. "On the ground and stay there creep!"
"Now, same question, who are you, why'd you attack us, and third, what's that you're holding onto?" I didn't even try to keep from sounding angry and ready to bend this fool in half. I wanted to intimidate these creeps, in a big way. Old habits I guess. And being a spec-op agent, those times my team took prisoners this was something we did quite frequently. I was still grimacing from my my incredibly sore back when I felt a shadow drape over me, prompting me to look up at the brown hedgehog hovering above me. My first reaction was to slink away nervously, but then I noticed my hands were forcibly stuck behind my back. Now my heart was really starting to race. "I'm only going to ask this once. Who are you, and why did you attack us?" Despite the nervousness and fear playing through my mind at that moment, my ears and face splayed out in a show of confusion. I looked around, hoping maybe a friend might be able to help, past Jack and Tutley, catching sight of Cutter roughly grabbing a raccoon and throwing him to the ground. My heart started racing again for fear of that happening to me. I tried as best I could to shuffle to a more comfortable distance from Jack, but I found that with my back aching so much and my hands bound that it was much to difficult under the circumstances. With no way to flee, I decided I might as well answer them. "A-attack? Wha-what are you talking about?" |

RE: Living in the City
[Bleh. This post sucks.]
He kept his eyes trained on the deer, knowing that Cutter and Tutley would be able to hold off the raccoon if he tried anything. They were both disarmed, to his knowledge. His only input on the scene between Cutter and this mysterious assailant was a flinch and an all too visible grimace as he heard Cutter throwing the raccoon to the ground. As angry as he was, he couldn't help but feel that such a treatment might have been a tad too harsh. Still, he ignored it this time, instead focusing on the guy he was interrogating. "A-attack? Wha-what are you talking about?" Jack raised an eyebrow. There was no way this guy could have just forgotten everything that had happened no more then twenty minutes ago. A little suspicious, he thought. This either had to be a lie, or Amys hammer had done a little more damage than they thought. "What are WE talking about? We found you and your friend over there on this roof, shooting at one of our friends with that crossbow of yours. You damn near killed her, too. That kinda stuff is pretty hard to forget" |

RE: Living in the City
Huu winced as he hit the ground again. He managed to push himself off the ground a bit, and reach a kneeling position. He felt for his pendant; it had almost fallen off during the impact, and was now hooked on his ear. He got it back into its normal position as he turned to face Cutter.
"Mind your own business! This pendant is a family heirloom!" Technically this was true. Huu didn't attempt to acknowledge the other questions for the time being. |

RE: Living in the City
"Oh, you made it my business the moment you decided to pick a fight with my friends, boy. Now answer the damn question, or I'm going to start breaking things, starting with the family jewels!" I cracked my knuckles as I threatened this punk just to give some impression of how serious I was.
I probably couldn't have looked more like a deer in the headlights had someone holding a flashlight in my eyes as Jack shouted back at me. Roof top? Last thing I remembered was being on the street... A quick look around in bewilderment showed the hedgehog was correct, Gods only know how, but sure enough, I was on some kind of roof top. "WHAT!! I.... Wait, how.. How did I get on a roof!!??" What in the heck is going on here!! My mind was just whirling around a mile a minute with confusion. Not only was what these people were accusing me of absurd, but I couldn't even remember anything before I'd just woke up. |

RE: Living in the City
The deers response prompted a roll of the eyes from Jack.
"Well, I assume you climbed up here..." Smartass. However, he took a moment to reconsider. Clearly, this guy has no clue what's going on. Either he didn't remember trying to kill Amy, or he was just really good at playing dumb. With the sound of Cutters knuckles cracking in his ears, he remembered his place in this little interrogation. He would have to be a nice guy and try and give this mysterious assassin the benefit of the doubt. Sure, it might bite him in the kiester in the future, but if that happened, hopefully Cutter would catch on before he did. Jack squat down in front of the fallen dear, sitting on the ground in an unusually feral pose, like some sort of tamed animal. The look on his face suggested that this was normal to him, like he had always shown such unusual mannerisms. "Okay. Okay... What's the last thing you remember? Tell me everything" |

RE: Living in the City
Huu let go of his pendant for just long enough to slap his aggressor's fist away.
"Hey, don't get any ideas. You've got no evidence that I hurt anyone. I could be just an innocent bystander for all you know." Of course this was a total lie, but who knew what would happen. |
