Jylat - Starting Over

RE: Jylat - Starting Over
"Where'd he go!" One of the men growled angrily while he and his companions swirled their weapons back and forth.

"He must have slipped through the kitchen." Another answered.

"Forget him. There's another door outside in there, he's probably already made a break for it. We need to secure the targets and get out of here. Once we drop of the targets we make for Station Square to pick up the last one."

"Almost forgot about that one, 2120 Maple street right?"

"Shut up you idiot! You want someone to hear that?" One of the men grumbled and smacked the offender in his helmet.

"Big deal! No ones around. That merc is probably long gone by now."

"Clam up the both of you! Get moving, we're out of here."

The man over Laurelle forced her to inhale the strange fine powder within the bag. She'd soon find herself feeling very drowsy and soon fall asleep. When she awakes, she'll find she has absolutely no memory of what transpired this night.

The men filed out the house and into several unmarked vans parked out front. They didn't even possess license plates. With their targets on board the men raced off down the street.

RE: Jylat - Starting Over
**God, sorry. I was trying and trying to think of something to do that wouldn't get me killed with none of my kit and my tiny size and all.**

[Yes, Nail, you are supposed to hear that. And don't worry Laurelle, no big deal, I can roll with this.]

RE: Jylat - Starting Over
[I guess I'll post... Laurelle, if you want to do something first, let me know and I'll delete this.]

2120 Maple Street...Station Square... That was awful convenient.

Nail was about to dash off into the woods when he heard the grunts behind him talking. So he'd flattened himself against the wall beside the back door and stopped to hear what they had to say. He would have to move fast though, before the trail went cold.

Damn it though...I'm still alone. How will I take all of them myself? Is there anyone I can go to for help? Spyke...but he's been long gone since that F4 base in the Mystic Ruins was destroyed. Or...did they leave anybody behind?

Nail softly stepped back into the house. It was very still... Then he saw that Laurelle was still in the dining room. Nail wasn't sure if she was unconscious or dead. He rushed over...planting an ear beside her chest. A heartbeat...she was still alive but seemed to be asleep. The fox shook her a few times. "Laurelle...wake up..."

*So, how drugged am I? What's going on? Am I meant to be awake before this? Is everyone else still passed out in the room with us? I'm so confused!* *And in the game.*

[Looks like Rios and Esmerelda were left in the room with you. And Chadin described the effects in his last post...what the powder will do. I'm guessing you'd be out like a light for a while.]

RE: Jylat - Starting Over
[Yes you likely will be out for a while until the immediate effects of the powder wears off. But in the interests of keeping the game lively for EVERYONE not just the evil douchebag department (i.e. ME!!) I think we can let you wake up after a few more posts just so Nail has time to start heading for Station Square. I don't even care if you wake up a little sooner than that if you'd rather be able to actually do something instead of just tag along for the ride. And yes, as Nail pointed out, Laurelle won't have any memories of anything that just happened.]

RE: Jylat - Starting Over
[You know, maybe we should just skip to everyone left in the house waking up. There's nothing for me to do until then.[

[Go right ahead, I'm basically out of the story here, so if you want to just skip to the cross country, be my guest]
