A Friendly Visit

RE: A Friendly Visit
(I'm making this post assuming that Nokame is on his knees licking the paint off the wall.)

Maddock just sat there staring at Nokame as he licked the paint off of the side of his shack. This bothered and worried Maddock quite a bit.

“Umm… Nokame? Are you ok? *Turns to look at Roberta* Its Nokame… He’s.. Licking paint off the side of my shack. I’m gonna go get him some water he may be suffering for dehydration.”

Maddock walked past Roberta and grabbed two bottles of water from the case he had already opened, he still had 18 bottle out of the 32 the case started with. Maddock didn’t drink water like a lot of people do, after spending so much time in the army he learned to conserve his water. Maddock went out the front door and opened one the bottles as he was walking to Nokame. When he got to him instead of handing him the watter Maddock pored in onto Nokame's head then handed him the other unopened one.

"Here take this and cool down turtle man."

RE: A Friendly Visit
[pardon moi away, a thread @ Absences follows this]

the cold water made the beast growl savagely, his body twitched harshly too. Before long he had recognized he's been eating paint and gagged to himself slightly.

A nervous wreck indeed.

RE: A Friendly Visit
Roberta had already stood up and was looking out of the window beside Maddock.

"I'm not entirely convinced that dehydration is his biggest problem."

RE: A Friendly Visit
Maddock stepped away a few inches as Nokame started to growl and twitch. Maddock wasn't quite sure what to exspect form some one who was delusional enough to be licking paint off the side of a wall. When Roberta chimed in Maddock turned his head over his right sholder, away from Nokame, for a second to reply to Roberta.

"Yeah... He may be suffering delusions... or hes just stupid.. I'm going with a little of both."

RE: A Friendly Visit
His episode slowly started to calm, he just breathed hard down on the hot sand with nothing to say or anything to do to even consider his current actions.

RE: A Friendly Visit
Roberta remained completely silent as she watched Noka. She decided she'd better not try to intervene with the situation for the moment.

RE: A Friendly Visit
(Ok then)

He looked up and saw the two. Without much a second notice he grabbed his bag and shuffled off.
"Excuse us."

Maddock watched as Nokame move on and away from the little shack in the middle of no were.

"That guy gives me the creeps..*cough* Roberta! What did you really come here for? I know you didn't wast good tax payer's money just to check-up on me."

Maddock turn his body to face were Roberta was standing and waited for her reply.

RE: A Friendly Visit
Roberta sat down again.

"If you must know, I was looking for a way to distract myself. It's just been so hectic for me recently, with the cleanup operation and the kidnapping of that newscaster and my transfer to the desert outpost near here... and Shadow..." Somehow she didn't notice that last slip of the tongue until it was too late.

RE: A Friendly Visit
Maddock was back at the door to the house by the time Roberta had started to say "my transfer...". Maddock had just sat in his seat when Roberta pause for only a half second and said "and Shadow". Maddock raised an eye brow at Roberta in a questioning way.

"You were transfered out here? Were, why? And what about Shadow?"

Maddock wouldn't admit it, but he was a bit anxious to know what had been going on since his last little venture into civalization. It was easy for him to just act like rest of the world didn't matter when he wasn't a part of it. But now he knew people there and felt small little strings tung at him, connecting him to the world outside his desert and his home.
