Under the Sea
[From War Room...]
Trigger sat back casually as the submersible drifted along through the depths of the ocean. Since the process was automated he had little to do while the ship took them from Robotnik's secret island base to his new secret underwater base. All this secrecy and remaining hidden was really starting to get on his nerves though. He was ready and eager to get to some action. Break some skulls, anything. He yawned and stretched out some stiff limbs as he muttered to no one particular. "Man, I sure hope I get to see some real action soon. I'm getting tired of all this covert stuff." |

RE: Under the Sea
Blitzkrieg scoffed. "Covert?" he said with a laugh. "Robotnik's keeping it on the down low? Now that's hard to belive. This being the guy that tried blowing up the moon and sicced a god on Station Square? He must be planning something big." He set his board to one side and plunked down on a chair. "Any idea what it might be?"

RE: Under the Sea
"Hopefully something that involves me getting to fire off that cannon he has aboard his new Egg Carrier." Trigger replied without ever looking over his should to Blitz. "Not long now... and there it is..."
Trigger pointed out the submersible's front window to the sight just coming into view as the sub gently glided over a rocky ridge. Robotnik's underwater base. A whole assortment of structures that gave it all the appearance of a highly sophisticated operation. "And now we send the access code and we'll be docked in a matter of moments. Then you'll get to meet the big man yourself." |

RE: Under the Sea
Blitz merely leaned back in his chair and smiled widely, saying only "Finally." He'd been waiting for this moment for quite some time now, and not just for that day. He'd been planning for over six months now, and finally his plan was in real full swing. It had actually been somewhat easier than he thought it would be, but that of course was no issue with him.
"Hmm, tell me, do you think it'll be a problem that half my face is burned off and I can't see colors anymore?" the android asked with a laugh. His jovial tone and laughter were testiment to his good mood, and the fact that not even scarring injuries could get him down right now. |

"Nah, if he's willing to keep you around, he might make some repairs. And as for first impressions, well, he'll believe me that you're banged up because of me."

RE: Under the Sea
"Heh heh, well that's good to know," Blitz said with a smirk, not mentioning that he was fully capable of getting repairs himself. He smiled and lounged back in his chair as they approached the underwater base. No wonder I never found it, he thought. It's a clever hiding place. Ironic that both his base and mine are underwater. Maybe we've got more in common than I thought, heh heh.
