Cause name cards have more of a stick and go with the theme of the names. (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Joker) 10 just dosn't seem to fit with that.

technichally the 10 is part of the royal flush.

Not a sermon, but a thought.

Now that the Sarath arc is over, now might be a good time to really start finalizing the details for this story.

How many of you are still willing to pick up a character? Also, when are you all available to chat?

Nothing big. Just an update of what's been claimed so far.

Ace: Maddock (Although we haven't had a chance to talk about it, yet. I screwed up both meetings)
King: No update.
Queen: Roxie Valas

Aji has made mention of getting in, but I haven't heard from since the last announcement.

Joker's still a possibility if we wind up with an excess of people interested, but right now, the character isn't needed, yet.

Now that you've talked with the other two, you should have a pretty good idea of their abilities. ^_^

You can find me of the same name on AIM, now that I actually once again have a computer.

Speaking of which, how many of you guys have seen a monitor explode in sync with the CPU's crashing habits? ^_^;;;;;;

There's a chance that I'm slacker-ish enough to switch to your time schedule- Post what time would be good. *.*

You know, when Jodie mentioned you were thinking of a plot yourself Jack I was originally concerned that it might either conflict with a plot line that I am currently working on right now. However, now that I've taken a look at what you're planning I suddenly realize that you have the villainous characters, and I have a plot that would be just PERFECT for you're little Royal Flush Gang.

Unfortunately I don't want to get into very great detail about just what this plot is. But, if you're interested to hear what I have in mind, feel free to PM me Jack and let me know. From there I can give you a small idea of just what I have in mind for your villains. Sorry for the secrecy but I'm keeping my plans close to the chest as much as possible so it will be a surprise.

(Oh and FYI Noka, technically, a Joker could be a part of a Royal Flush if you were using them in the game. But I do agree with the others, a name is more... exciting and mysterious then a number.)

RE: A Killer Hand: Characters up for Adoption
I talked things over with Chadin, and what we might be doing (so long as all of you are up for it), is actually combine our two stories. One of the major characters involved with the creation of the KH will simply be part of what Chadin's planning.

That is, of course, if you guys are okay with it. In reality, this will change very little, other then help flesh the plot out faster, and make things easier on the both of us. The actual story itself won't be affected too much.
