Why must you continue to tease me, Sega!? Ah well. Looks... interesting to say the least. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what they plan to show us this time. Who knows. If they pull this off, I may have to actually give Wereangst here a break. |

RE: Night of the Werehog
This... isn't something SEGA has taken a shot at before. Maybe they're desperate for good PR after their recent lousy track record?

RE: Night of the Werehog
Hm, I wonder if we could include werhog sonic in the rpg somehow...and tie it in with the ex gp story line. May be fun. O_O

RE: Night of the Werehog
If I do remember right, back when Unleashed first was announced, Billy mentioned he liked werewolves. I wonder if he'd be interested in doing such a thing. If not for the next story arc, then maybe we can ask if the admins are interested in it when the game's actually released.
Of course, if anyone wanted to spread lycanthropy about the RPG further then just Sonc, it'd get my vote, no question. </hypocrite> |

The movie's out. Give it a look. I found it amusing. To actually see Sonic in werehog form actually act how Sonic is supposed to act helped but the big lug in a whole new light. A lot better then every other picture, with him scowling and snarling at every waking moment |

RE: Night of the Werehog
Heh, that movie's pretty cool. I love the bits with Sonic the big burly evil looking werehog waving and blowing on a photo to develop it faster. It was just such a funny scene. That, and the little bit where he was chillin in a chair by the fire like being a freaky monster was no big deal, like nothing had changed. Excellent. And if Sonic really does act like that in werehog form, you know, basically like himself but angrier, then I might just end up liking it.

RE: Night of the Werehog
Words cannot describe how great that was for me. I felt like I was watching a Sonic cartoon from the childhood again. The premise was simple and sweet, the execution solid and the animation enjoyable at every turn.
Chip sure does fill up the classical helpless side-kick role well. Tails could have kicked their butts himself if he was in it. Haha. -Chip throws Sonic camera and then mimes out how to use it- -Werehog gives thumbs up- Priceless. "Don't just sit there and waste your precious time. When you want to do something, do it right away. Do it when you can. It's the only way to live a life without regrets." — Sonic 1 Japanese Tagline. |

RE: Night of the Werehog
In my case, it was the end. Sonic just casually strolls out the door, whistling as though he didn't have a care in the world.
Now THAT'S a werehog I can enjoy watching, |

RE: Night of the Werehog
I'm right in the middle of watching it. Until Sonic showed up it looked like something that could easily pass as one of those Disney/PIXAR movies. Details on the rest of the movie later; it's taking forever to load.
EDIT: Okay, I've finished it. And it looks even more like Disney/PIXAR now. I mean, even the paper-craft sequence during the credits looks familiar; the first thing I compare it to is the intro to Monsters, Inc., though I'm sure there's a better comparison.
