[Wrong. Sorry, but there is NO WAY any gun crew, no matter how well trained could pull off a shot like that. Even the most accurate computer controlled gun couldn't pull something like that. And what's more, you're firing basically fixed guns that fire primarily at a flat to minimal angled trajectory. There's no way you could even get a bead on the shot when it's being lobbed at you, let alone hit it at just the right moment to cause a deflection. Sorry, but I'm not going to let you get away with that one (and neither will any of the staff, I'm sure). Its not even going to actually do any damage to your ship. Change it.]

Ayu's escape had been kindly provided by Iroquois- Stretching out her hand, she tried one of her most desperate and crazy options. It was unsure whether or not it would work, but...

"CASCADE!" Commanding the drops to form one body, she hurled it at Olive's presumed position.

There wasn't nearly enough water to form an actual cascade- but it should have the force of a punch, at least. Certain that this would buy her a second, Ayu scrambled to her feet.

((Damn the torpedoes, it's been four days and I'm not waiting any longer.))

Olive did not see the Cascade coming, and was knocked to the ground. Seeing Ayu getting back to her feet, Olive then swooped around and aimed her cutlass at Ayu's ankles in a tripping motion, hoping to throw her off her feet again. She was determined to score at least one victory today, even something as small as kidnapping a random human being.

The Swimming Devil was leaving now, taking a path that led it further away from both the harbor and the Iroquois simultaneously. No question about it; it had gotten the message and was retreating.

[Ayu Kanou]

Ayu merely hopped right over and laughed, wagging a finger at Olive.

"HEY! Naughty naughty, little birdie! Didn't anybody ever teach you horrid little creatures to respect your elders?!"

She ran around her for no apparent reason, except for irking the captain and hopefully roughing up one of the lower wimps.

At first, Olive kept her cutlass in a defensive position. She didn't even try to follow Ayu with her eyes; she knew she'd just get dizzy.

"Respect me elders? Ye be just a young shrimp! Besides, we be pirates! We respect nobody, especially not some senile old fools who can't even see properly!"

That said, Olive made a surprise leftwards lunge with her cutlass right before Ayu got to that spot, expecting her to run right into her blade.

((I'm sick of waiting for everyone. Let's just say that Olive succeeded in her retreat, Ayu escaped without causing any major damage to the Swimming Devil, and GUN called off their attack vessel, and call this thread over. Is everyone okay with that?))
