The Southern Seas
The Swimming Devil traced a path through the waters of the ocean due south of the mainland. Captain Olive watched the seas from the bow of the ship.

"Aargh, can ye believe it? Some lout already blasted Radical City to pieces before we ever got there! We have no manner o' good luck at all!" Olive grumbled. (She knew practically nothing about the Crescent Imperium.)

After a moment, Olive flapped her wings a few times and ascended to the crow's nest, where a member of her crew was surveying the distance with a telescope.

"We're approaching Station Square, Captain. They don't look damaged, but they seem to have raised their defenses."

"Aye, let me see!" Olive grabbed the telescope and peered through it herself. "Aargh, this telescope be defective! I can't see a thing!"

"Captain... you're looking through it with your patched eye."

"... Oh. So that be it."

Switching eyes, Olive examined the defenses GUN had set up on the shoreline. "Looks like they be mainly set up to defend against an aerial assault; practically nil against the sea. This'll be a piece o' cake for the crew o' the Swimming Devil!"

She bent down. "Horace! Take us within firing distance of Station Square!"

"Aye-aye, Captain!"

The ship began to accelerate and move closer to the city... (TO STATION SQUARE)
