(Can't say much due to computer lagging BADLY, but I'm dropping Knuckles and Links, Jodie, and Noka know. And Links gave me permission to do this. I know there are going to be quite I few things that will be needed to be changed and maybe a little more explanation, but well, that's how this thing goes. =_=)

Species: Lingayi ( LING-WE-I)

Appearance:

CAT FORM: In his cat form, he looks much like a spindly panther (or just a taller and slightly bigger house cat) with large ears, large eyes, and a tail in with splits at the end leavening three fuzzy like ends on it. Is fur coat is white, with violet glazed eyes and various black markings on his back, legs, and a large dot on his forehead.

HUMAN FORM:
Build: Small and wiry
Height: 6’2
Skin: A slightly dark red-ish tan. (He looks as though he got a tan and then got sunburn over the tan.)
Hair Style: With snow-white hair, his hair is very close to Rose’s own, with bangs in the way face and hair pulled back into a pony tail. But with the acceptation off the strange cow lick hair near the base of his bangs (Which can remind anyone of Dib’s(From Invader Zim) crazy hair).
Eyes: Violet eyes with cat-like slits. Though, his eyes are glazed like a cats.
Face: Overall, Yin looks quite similar to Rose in the face, but of course more masculine. He also has more of a child like look than Rose does and with his sharp like teeth it actually makes him look creepy.

Personality:
Being Rose’s ‘Yang’ side doesn’t exactly mean he’s her complete opposite. He generally has a dull outlook with the off stand of ‘I hate everyone’ aura much like his mistress when he’s on his ‘serious’ side, and arguing with him is like trying to argue with a brick wall.

But there is still an extreme difference between them.

Yin is a hyper active. He is constantly on the go, and will make anyone wonder when the heck the guys sleeps, as it seems as though he never does. He is constantly bouncing off the walls and annoying the hell out of anyone without really meaning too (or trying) with his happy-go-lucky attitude (the only thing of concern being his mistress well-being. That will drive him off the deep end if he ever thinks she’s threatened). It is also good to note that he seems much like a little child that is completely lost and has no idea what’s right from wrong (which isn’t very far from the truth. He doesn’t know what right and wrong is). Plus with his slight optimistic attitude, he comes off as being a little creepy (and his sharp toothy smile doesn’t help it any) as well as his enthusiasm for getting into trouble is applauding. And being a pyromaniac doesn’t help with dousing the enthusiasm. In fact, it makes it worse.

Though as long as he stays occupied, he’s fine.

If not, well, if anything has been reported under the lines of stocks shelves being full of guns being completely wrecked with shelves on fire and bombs going off due to the flames then you can see the big sign over Yin’s head saying “ HE DID IT”, flashing arrows and all. And trying to get him to sit still and stay in one spot is like trying to train a dog how to screw in a light bulb. But thankfully he’s easy to please and easy to keep occupied (Giving him a HUGE ball of yarn will do it. It also yields to hilarious results. [“Watch out for the string! It’s a tricky one, that is! D<”]) He’s not quick to anger, as things don’t get on his nerves easily (maybe except human/anthro nature, but that’s just because of him). Though his patience is quite short as waiting for things kill him. He also appears to be quite stupid and absent minded, as he still doesn’t understand much about the ‘physical’ world but also nags about how ‘physical beings’ Being stupid for not understanding magical ways. But in truth, he is quite smart and is a fast leaner and thinker, much like his mistress.

Alongside his personality he also shows several feline like traits. He’s known to sit in a cat-like position, sleep in a cat like position, purr, and like milk and fish. And hating water. Though, this is because water stings like acid on his skin due to it being his elements ‘weakness’. The only time it does not sting is whenever the water is heated to an extreme temperature (In other words when he goes to take a shower he turns the heat on full blasts and leaves it that way). So he is known to smell just a little because of his lack of showers (THIS CHANGES ONCE HE GETS TO THE EMPIRE. And in truth he smells like gasoline, alcohol, and a bunch of incents). And when he sees water, he usually overreacts.

He also doesn’t trust anyone that is close to Rose. Even if she might like him (and in turn him likening that person because so) he still doesn’t trust him as his senses tell him better than too. Though he is completely loyal to his mistress, as he does anything that she says for him to do (within reason, that is).

Family: none, though he considers his mistress(RoseFox) family.

Biography:
[EXPLANATION]
The Lingayi’s are said to be mythical creatures.
But we all know that it’s all bullocks.
How they came to exists is unknown. There have been a few number of stories from descending from the heavens too ancient sorceress creating them as servants either way not even the lingayi’s know.
But then again, nor do they really care.
They’re entire purpose in there one life is to make whole and protect they’re ‘other’ half. That other half being whoever seems ‘unbalanced’.

~ How to gain a Lingayi ~

To gain a lingayi is not easy. First off, you have to –find- one. Which is like finding a blonde strand of hair in a hay stack.
Nearly impossible.
Second, you have to meet the certain requirements. It makes it so much easier to find ‘um since if you do, they’ll come out and show themselves, for they stay hidden for a purpose.
Third, you need to find the –right- kind of lingayi which just ties it’s self into the first and third one.

Either way, to find a lingayi, you need to go to remote places, like ruins of ancient civilizations (since they played a big role in those times) to small deserted islands. The reason for this is simply that they like extremely remote places and don’t like to show themselves to anyone who doesn’t meet the requirements. But even then, you wouldn’t be able to find them as they don’t relive themselves to anyone who doesn’t meet the requirements. But if you do, they’ll flock right to you like a magnet once they sense your being. What those requirements are is simple. But first you must know the two kinds of lingayi’s

~YIN’S AND YANG’S ~

There is a female and male lingayi, obviously. The females are known as ‘Yins’ while the males are known as ‘Yangs’.

YINS: Yins are female lingayis. They hold negative attributes and use water/ice magic. They prefer cold climates, and sleeping most of the day through. They are also passive, and whenever they gain they’re other half, they usually only assist in fights. Though they will protect they’re master at all costs, as it is a trait that both the yins and yangs have. And they represent the Yin side of the Ying-Yang symbol.
Preferred form: (out of cat/ human/anthro form)
Yins prefer to stay in their cat form. Unlike the yang’s, human/anthro forms wear they’re magical energy out. (The reason for this is that the cat forms suppress all of their energy while the human/anthro forms spread it out which makes them have less energy.)
(YIN: Female, negative, passive, north, dark, nighttime, moon, cold, winter, water, slow, soft, insubstantial, diffuse and tranquil.)

YANGS: Yangs are the male lingayi’s. They hold the positive attributes and use fire magic. They prefer the hot climates and staying active. The yang’s are the kind to attack other than assist unlike the yin. They represent the Yang side of the Yin-Yang symbol.
Preferred form: (out of cat/ human/anthro form)
Yangs prefer the Human/anthro forms instead of their cat forms. The reason why is simply put that not only do Yangs have much more energy than the yins, but unlike the yins the cat form wears them out (The reason behind this is that the cat forms compress they’re energy, while they’re human/anthro forms do not.)

(YANG: Male, Positive, sun, summer, light, hard, fast, solid, dry, focused, hot, aggressive, substantial, and daytime.)

~ THE REQUIRMENTS~

The first thing you must know is that every person has a different kind of aurora. How many is not known, but it is one of the first steps of the requirements. If you have the same type of aurora as the lingayi, then there is a good chance you will get one. But this is only the first step.

The second requirement is that in order to have a lingayi of your own you must be the opposite sex of that lingayi. So, if you’re a male, then you must find a Yin. If you are female, you must find a Yang.

The third requirement is that you –must- be ‘unbalanced’. In order to be considered to be unbalanced you must have too much of your side of the yin-yang symbol. Better put, if you are male you must have a little bit too much or exactly all of the Yang traits and if you are female you must have a little bit too much or exactly all of the Yin traits.

If you have all of the above, them congratulations, you can have a lingayi!

~YOUR OWN LINGAYI~

Once you obtain your very own lingayi, you will notice some changes quickly. Depending how old you are, they will grow out and will begin to speak and have a personality of they’re own. They will have the same likes and dislikes as you and have a personality that is a little opposite of yours. Now if you are evil, this doesn’t exactly mean that the other half will be good (or vice versa). It’s possible, but not likely. They hold some similarities from they’re masters, but they are still completely different.
(For example, Rose is not a friendly person. But Yin is. But they both hold a sarcastic and dull personality.)
Of course anything the master hates and likes AFTER gaining the lingayi, the lingayi will not be affected.
If a lingayi should be killed, then its master will die too; just as if the master dies, the lingayi dies. This is because once in contact, there is a connection that is bond between their souls. And if the one soul disappears, well, so does the other as once in contact they both need each other (Mind you, the souls need each other. There have been plenty of times where lingayis get stuck with a master they actually don’t like and the master doesn’t like them either).

~GROWTH AND AGEING~
Lingayi’s life spans differ. This is because they’re other half’s arrive to them at different times. And they don’t grow any during the duration of time they don’t have a master. And if they never get one, then they last for around three hundred years. Once the three hundred years are up, they die, and a new lingayi appears. (No, they don’t reproduce and the only time there might be at least ONE more added to the population is extremely rare. Why? Because in order for that to happen, there has to be two people who HAVE lingayi’s that love each other. And usually, when this happens, the lingayi ends up being the master’s kids other half). This goes for the ones with masters. Though, instead of dying after 300 years of being around, they die whenever the master dies and another lingayi shows up in its place.

But once a lingayi gets a master, it takes two days for them to recover. The first day is to grow to the age of their masters. Usually, this happens when they sleep, and while they grow their personalities begin to develop. The second day is for the rest of the developing of the personality and then having the ability to turn into a human/anthro and how to speak (How they know to speak is when they are first contacted with each other. When the bond is made, information like speaking and such goes to them directly. There are some circumstances where a Lingayi doesn’t get the full transfer, which is when they get separated from their masters too early. But even then, they should know how to speak. It’s the easiest and first thing that comes.)

~The Way their Magic Works~
Unlike everyone else in the world, the lingayi’s are magically based beings. Granted physical beings can very well use magic, but lingayi’s run on it. Instead of having stamina, it is completely replaced with magical energy. The magic energy does go away whenever they are up and moving, but it’s only a tiny bit. So they can stay up for months without sleeping as long as they have not used the energy. And nor do they really have to eat as they’re bodies simply run on the magical energy. But, once it beings to twitter down, they can replenish they’re energy by sleeping and eating though the quickest way is to simply consume the elements themselves.

For Yins, simply drinking lots of water* will replenish their energy along with eating dirt(madness, isn’t it?) For Yangs, they can swallow down some fire as well as eating soil. Of course, for Yins swallowing fire is completely out of it as for Yangs to swallow water. And in order for the magic to be replenished, it must be down in a ‘natural’ way (This applies for all. Even if a Yin swallowed some water some water mage came up with, it has no effect simply because it’s been tampered with. Same goes for the Yangs with they’re swallowing fire.) The only time another magic can replenish them is wind, due to the fact that wind doesn’t ‘have’ a magical property like fire, water, and earth (and too set things clear, this is the only way wind can replenish them. It’d be kinda easy if they could be supplied by the air itself now wouldn’t it?) The other two ways, though, are dreadfully slow as eating and sleeping doesn’t replenish it fast enough and can take some time.
Besides using magic, if a Lingayi is away from the master too long, it puts strain on their magical energy, and consuming the elements themselves isn’t enough and it takes more energy to keep them running thus forcing them to eat and sleep and they themselves feel strained. But they begin to feel better once they are united with their master, but it takes a while for them to recover their former strength.

And Unlike the physical beings, Lingayi’s cannot just conjure up an element. The reason is unknown, but they suspect that it has to do with the fact that they are the element themselves (which would explain the reason for their strange weakness). Either way, they must find, create, or carry their element in order to use it. They must also physically touch the element in order to use it. This is where everything starts to work, as the lingayi’s touch the element, they’re magical energy concentrates to pull and control it.

~The Actual Bio~
How old Yin is and where he was born is not exactly all that important. The reason why is simply that he’s been doing absolutely nothing but keeping hidden until someone came along.
And if no one did, then there would be absolutely no reason to write this in the first place.

Either way, everything started with the coming of his to-be master. That being a girl known as Rose Fox. She was 16 at the time, and was completely unaware of what was around her at the time. Little did she knew that the little creature who would be known as Yin was there, and followed her closely behind.

Well, until he rested. After that, he was completely lost as to where his mistress was. But it wasn’t exactly his fault that he lost him, because he need to rest in order to grow in size to the age of his mistress.

But still he was lost. And worse, he couldn’t travel in human form as he wasn’t able to go into it for the time. Which meant he had to be in his cramping cat-form.

As he walked along, trying to track his mistress down, well, he tried to release some energy in order for the form to not be so cramping. But once he released some (by setting an old abandoned house on fire) It ended up making him feel weaker in which he had to rest once he got a reasonable distance away from the burning blaze (He would of loved to stay, since the heat felt so good, but he at least knew what ‘authorities’ were). And then the distance between them became worse as Yin couldn’t go into his human form (Like he was going to run around naked in human form. Sure, he might be ‘naked’ during his cat form, but, well, that’s how he feels about the matter). After a week or so, getting farther and farther apart from his mistress, he finally found some clothes. Well, at least he stole them. A tee shirt and a pair of jeans. He could care less about shoes as he didn’t need them.

But once he got them, he was finally able to get out of his cramping cat-form. Though, it didn’t help as he was way too far behind and his sense of direction, as he learned, was terrible. So for around five years he’s been wondering around, trying to track his dearest mistress with his horrible sense of direction and stealing clothes and fabrics in which gave him the attire that he wears know. Granted, he’s not the best sewer in the world, but it’ll do and if anything comes undone all he has to do is sew it back together. At least he's been praticeing. And he came close to the whereabouts of his mistress, but was stopped when he saw the huge puddle of water in the way ( A.K.A, the ocean, looking from somewhere close to Radical City). Afterwards he went kinda nuts, and tried to find a way around the puddle, but stopped once he got to Station Square.

Moves/Combat Style:

Combat Style:
Yin is a master of controlling fire. This is because the element comes naturally for him as to all yangs of any kind. Which is why he keeps a flask of gasoline, alcohol, and several boxes of matches with him so that they can do all the work for him. Though, he can’t just wave his hand to have the flames come to him, he has to literally pull the flames out in order to control them.
And with his personality the way it is, it makes a perfect disguise of his calculating mind. He fights according to what he first sees. The less difficult you are, the quicker to magic he will use. The more difficult you seem to be, the later he’ll use magic. The reason why is to simply wear his opponent down and observe the information that the opponent gives to him. And once you’ve worn down enough, or he simply thinks he knows you well enough, he begins the ‘true’ fight. This helps him to make sure that he has all the advantage he needs.

Moves:
(WEAKNESS FOR ALL MOVES: If you use water magic, you can very well shield yourself. Same goes for earth. Ice might be in trouble, but you can still shield.)

Basics:

Fire manipulation: This is a general move in which he can control and manipulate the fire which he touches into blades/whips, spheres with different concentrations depending on how much energy is used.

Weakness: Can cost a lot of energy depending on the size and matter of how much fire he's trying to manipulate.

Dragon Breath: This move is a little different from the others. This move happens when he puts a little bit of gasoline(Or alcohol) in his mouth and then through a match in. And as soon as the flame commences, he releases it.

Weakness: There’s no real way to dodge this move as he does this one up close and personal, as the move has an extremely short radiuses (Which is just a little in front of him). And the time it takes him to even do the move is a little too long to put the gasoline(Or alcohol) in his mouth, the match, and then let it get enough flame before the release. Plus, it takes up a good sum amount of energy and take one turn before use.


Special:

10 Finger Special: This is simply a more ‘advanced’ version of Fire Whip. Instead of just one figure, he uses 10 to pull out the fire into thin or thick strands and lashes it out towards the enemy.

Weakness: JUST like any move, it can be dodged, and by using this move he wastes some nice amount of energy. Plus, he needs a good amount of fire to do it.

Fiery serpents: This is where Yin grabs onto the fire and shoots out in big string towards the enemy from 1 to five times.

Weakness: If you can move fast enough or you have an amazing jumping ability, you can dodge it. Not only that, it takes a LOT, and I mean, A LOT of energy in order to do this and he needs a big blaze to do it too and it takes on turn to prepare for it.

Defense Move:

Fire Walled: This is where Yin grabs onto a reasonable amount of fire and places it directly in front of him.

Weakness: Takes a LOT of fire in order to use, and a lot of energy as well. And He needs a small amount of time in order to do it, so you can kinda see it coming. ( one turn to prepare)




Skills: He really doesn't have a skill. His sewinf his basic ( and down right horrible) and he has a bit of an ability to steal, though he has been caught in the act of it just never caught for it.

Items: Two identical looking flasks, one with alcohol and one with gasoline (in which, he stole).

+Due to the smell of gasoline on him, if he starts pouring it, no one will know. (THIS ONE IS EMINATED ONLY WHEN HE FINALLY TAKES A SHOWER)

Weaknesses:

-Not physically combat orientated
-is absent minded
-Has bad sense of direction
-Can be easily distracted
-If Rose tells him to do something, he has to do it.
-If Robotnik tells him to do something he has to do it (Rose can override though).
-Due to his smell, it gives him away like a sore thumb if he’s hiding (THIS ONE IS EMINATED ONLY WHEN HE FINALLY TAKES A SHOWER)
-Has urges to set things on fire
-Due to the fact that he runs on magical energy, he’ll slow down when he uses it. (Magical energy is huge, and he has no stamina. Go figure)
-Whenever doused by water, it puts a strain on his magical energy and thus he has to use more than a normal amount to do so.
-If he’s away from Rose for too long, it puts a strain on his magical energy ( plus it puts stress on him and makes him more tired)
-If it’s too cold for him, it puts a strain on his energy.
-He is edgy of anyone being close to Rose (I mean literal term of close. If someone is around her, he’s very edgy.)
