Well my artwork has been lacking in recent months but I have been using my creative spirit elsewhere. I've been writing a piece of fiction that I've been wanting to do for a while now, having started it but never finished it about a year back. Its set in a medieval type world of my making and has a bit of a myth and magic style to it. If anyone is interested you can find the first 5 chapters right here... The Rain! Enjoy!

I ALWAYS loved fiction side side/supplemental stories. Out of curiosity, is this held canon to SAr?

You already know my general opinion of this so far, but regardless.

I am enjoying this read. It flows. The characters are generally likable. It's exciting to see some familiar faces, but they do not run the story which I'm pleased with. It feels like you're finally cooling off and not having Prower syndrome. You know what I mean.

I've already detailed some suggestions of improvement and I'll continue to do that over on DA, but overall, I've always liked to read your stories and it's not a disappointment. I implore yins guys to read it as well. I have a feeling that anyone who doesn't know what The Rain is will be very curious to find out.

The SAr Tifa was from another world, right? I was wondering if this is a story that took place before her 'migration'. Like, a prologue of sorts.

Aaaah, now I get ya. Well the world swap was done because I wanted to play as her here but didn't want to write out her history from scratch again. The stuff that happens here has no relevance to her character in Mianol.

Although yes, this story is what you could call a prologue. I'm actually wanting to write more but I haven't got any firm ideas on a long term storyline yet so I don't want to start something I'll never finish. I was also considering making a comic but I dunno how realistic that is.

Finished reading it last night~

I probably -should- have expected something like this, but I didn't, so it threw me off. I'm having a lot of trouble imagining the critter though. It sounds FF to me is the big impression I got. I didn't expect it at all. It's a little corny, but the reason behind its existence and how the background generally unfolds makes it more forgiving. I'm curious to see how the end turns out. One more chapter, right?
