War Room 02
[I realize that I never posted the actual move of Trigger, but given the long inactivity with this character I hope no one will mind if I just jump right in here.]

Trigger stepped around the large conference for the third time since he'd gotten here. He was not happy that the target he'd come for was gone. A chance to finally find something exciting to do, his bloody target got sick of waiting for him!! "ARGH!!!" Trigger slammed the butt of his rifle into the back rest of a chair nearby in his frustration.

He didn't know what to do now, so he decided he might as well take a seat. And since no one else was around, he might as well take a seat in the bosses big chair. Trigger keyed his comm channel open with a tap of against the ear piece on his helmet. "Boss, this is Trigger, that robot that got into the base seems to be not here anymore. Waiting for further orders."

"Hmpf, cocky robot comes in here looking for a fight and he doesn't even bother sticking around for it." Trigger grumbled irritably. After venting his anger, Trigger relaxed into his seat to await his reply from Robotnik for further orders. And from where he was sitting his back would be to anyone entering from the door behind him. And conversely, anyone entering from behind him would not see Trigger either.

RE: War Room 02
[Alright, finally we can get this show back on the road!]

Blitzkrieg flew down the hall, finally stopping in front of the door labeled "War Room 02". He wondered briefly if it would still be messed up from the last time he'd been there, but put it out of his mind as he tried once again to open the door without having to break it.

After failing at finding the correct access code for a second time and after dismantling the door somewhat violently for a second time, the android glided into the room. He dismounted from his Extreme Gear and propped it up against the wall, then turned to face the seemingly empty room. "I wonder where that wolf girl went off to," Blitz said aloud to himself. "And where's this guy she said the Doctor sent to meet me?"

He wandered his way towards the opposite side of the room for a moment, looking about in case the infernal little wolf was going to try to pop out at him or something, and was pleasantly surprised to note the badger sitting in the large chair. "Oh, hello," Blitz said calmly, as though breaking into other people's secret bases was an everyday affair for him (which was quickly becoming the case). "I suppose that you're the guy the Doctor sent, yes? So tell me, how are we gonna do this. Will we talk this over civilly and then you take me to the Doctor, or will I have to subdue you first? Your choice."

RE: War Room 02
Trigger's eye's nearly burst out of his sockets when he heard the door forcefully opened behind him. While the bot was still making a bunch of noise opening the door, the badger instinctively hit the charging button on his rifle. By the time the bot had come around the distinctive high-pitched whine of the charging sequence would be done and the bot wouldn't have picked up on the fact Trigger was wielding a fully armed laser rifle.

Trigger just smiled viciously at Blitz's overconfident statement, before leveling his rifle at the intruder. "Sorry, bolts-for-brains. I'm afraid I don't do 'polite chatter'. Without wasting another breath, Trigger squeezed the trigger and unleashed a hail of 10 crimson red laser bolts at the cocky robot.

RE: War Room 02
Blitzkrieg grit his teeth as he staggered back as the bolts of laser light slammed squarely into his chest plate, taking a step back with each hit. Much of the bolts were actually reflected by his shiny chest plate, the excess energy skimming off to land in the ceiling, the floor, and pretty much anywhere it happened to be reflected to. Each actual hit made a loud sizzle as it struck and caused a short burst of green sparks to flare from the android's chest, but they left no actual structural damage save for a faint red glow when the laser fire subsided, and this too faded away after just a few seconds.

The android recovered quickly and stood up straight, staring down the badger with a cold glare etched into his reptilian eyes. "I can understand your reasoning to attack me that first time, but I must ask you to refrain from attacking again," Blitz said, somewhat coldly. "I strongly encourage you to talk this out first. As you can see, your laser weapon has little effect on my armor. Most of your attack rebounded, as you saw. I am going to give you one more chance to reconsider your current course of action before I am forced to retaliate." The android grimaced, his face softening slightly but none of the chill leaving his eyes. "I really don't want to fight you. I want to join Robotnik, and having the blood of one of his underlings on my hands is unlikely to put me in his good graces, don't you agree?" The android phrased all of his words as carefully as he could. It wouldn't do to have all his effort towards diplomacy unraveled by a wrong word. He also failed to inform the badger of the real effect his attacks had had. Hiding his weaknesses was still the most prudent action he could take, considering the delicacy of the situation.

RE: War Room 02
The fact the laser bolts deflected off Blitz' armour annoyed Trigger greatly, but serving with GUN back in the day he'd seen his fair share of his weapons do just that against many of Robotnik's toys. Granted, bullets might be easier to deflect then lasers, but obviously whoever built this thing had done their homework and figured out how to better protect it against lasers. Fair enough, but everything had a weakness, and like heck he was going to back down until this thing knew who's boss. THEN he might give the boss a chance to let him join.

Besides, he'd seen how the bot flinched with each hit. If those shots had truly done no significant damage it would still be standing tall. The smoking armour here and there was also another give away. "Well, I'll admit you got some pretty snazzy armour there. Can't say I've ever seen any that can resist lasers before." As he spoke, Trigger stepped calmly out of his seat, raising his rifle so it rested against his shoulder as he walked around to the other side of the table; never taking his cold gaze off of Blitz. "I doubt this little toy would drop you very quickly at all. Lucky for me, there's always a few chinks in armour." And with that, Trigger spun towards Blitz, shouldering his weapon and blasting five shots at Blitz's head and face; hoping to knock out on of the robots eyes, or some other critical system with the concentrated, more well aimed burst.

RE: War Room 02
"GAAAAH!" Blitzkrieg shouted as the bolts seared his face. He had not been expecting an attack there, and as such had not had his guard up as well as he should be, so his normally lightning-fast android reflexes did him no good. His chest armor was nigh-impervious, but the rest of his armor was somewhat weaker, and so he could feel pain in those areas to alert him to when he was in real danger. Not only that, but the rest of his armor wasn't as dense or as reflective, so the bolts hit him full-on.

Unfortunately for Trigger, while the armor of his face was weaker, it wasn't that much weaker. The bolts seared through the artificial skin of his face, causing artificial blood to seep from the charred wounds, but the metal beneath retained it's shape, not melting nor taking damage, simply glowing from the heat. His eyes weren't so lucky however, and although the damage wasn't extensive, it did prevent Blitz from seeing in color.

Still, the pain was a far greater wound than almost any that could be inflicted on the android. He wasn't used to pain, he didn't feel it often, and he was pretty much unprepared for it. Blitz staggered back a few steps, even after the laserfire had subsided, clutching his face and howling in agony. "Sunova...!" he shouted, finally pulling his hands away from his face and glaring angrily at the badger. If a glare could do harm, than Blitz's would have blown up the whole island. As it was he grit his teeth, artifical blood running down his face, his face still glowing slightly from the heat. Finally, he spoke.

"My turn."

Blitzkrieg was done with the formalities, done with the politeness, done playing games. In one lightning-fast fluid motion, the android simultaniously morphed his right hand into a large heavy metal block, snapped his arm up to point at Trigger and extended it forward at tremendous speeds, the block packing about as much punch as getting hit with a sledgehammer. It had taken all of the android's willpower not to change his hand into something somewhat more lethal, since despite the rage that boiled through him and his intense desire to rip the damn badger limb from limb he knew he had to somehow keep his one ticket to the Doctor alive.

Although he didn't necesarrily need him conscious just now.

RE: War Room 02
The blow came far to quickly for Trigger to evade. Speed was never a strong point for the badger. Lucky for him taking punishment was. The block hit him square in his left shoulder and sent Trigger flying backwards into one of the monitors behind him. He crashed through the frail monitor and the skeleton-like support structure with little difficulty before landing on his stomach.

Trigger could feel the impact had dislocated his shoulder and it ached terribly. But with all the pain Trigger had endured over the years it took next to nothing to push it down and ignore it. He let go of his rifle for a moment and grabbed his limp left arm. With a hard yank and a sickening popping noise his shoulder popped back into place as Trigger let out a howl of pain. He grit his teeth and snarled as he forced his body to regain his breath.

A moment later, he took his rifle back in his hands and stood back up to face his opponent. "See? I can take a hit too." He growled menacingly then grinned with satisfaction at the damage his concentrated fire had done. "Never known a bot that seems to feel pan before. That's good. Makes it that much more satisfying. But, you don't look so good, sparky. Here, let ole' Trigger give you a little taste of his special medicine." He raised his rifle again and unleashed a torrent of ten rounds at his opponent, aiming for the face, hips or joints; any place less likely to be heavily armoured.

RE: War Room 02
This time Blitzkrieg was ready for his opponent's attack. His opponent made the foolish mistake of talking way too much, so the moment Trigger finished his taunt and brought his rifle to bear Blitz, who now had his wits and his reflexes about him, dropped to the floor, lying on his stomach and letting the blasts shoot right over him. Trigger-happy idiot, Blitz thought to himself. He talks way too much.

Just as Trigger stopped firing Blitz morphed both hands into sets of wickedly curved and barbed hooks. Taking aim for the badger's feet under the table, the android lashed out his arms in an attempt to dig the barbed hook-claws into the badgers legs and pull his feet out from under him.

RE: War Room 02
Trigger had been caught off-guard and unawares before with Blitz's little extendable arms trick once, but this time he had guessed what might be coming once the bot dove below the table. A quick hop let him evade the two hooks and a quick stomp would hopefully pin one of the hooks under his boot. "Ah ah ah... Fool me once..." Trigger cautioned, then quickly fried a shot towards the extended arms.

RE: War Room 02
Blitzkrieg smiled quietly as Trigger stomped down on both sets of hook-claws. He was learning, it's true, but not quickly enough. The shot the badger fired had an almost identical effect on his arms as it did on his chest: they glowed slightly, but the greater part of the bolt was reflected by the arm's shiny surface. There wasn't even a burst of sparks this time, and there was no pain, since there was no flesh. He couldn't know it, but Blitz's arms, his most powerful weapons and the most vital part of his body in combat, were also the most impervious parts of his body. In fact, he had done more real damage when he fired at the android's chestplate than anywhere else, though there was no way he could know it at this juncture.

Unfortunately for Trigger, as he had fired on the arms the android's liquid metal hands had de-morphed back into a simple liquid, which slipped easily out from underneath the badger's feet and reformed just in front of them as heavy blocks again. The moment the blocks were formed Blitz whipped his arms up, causing the blocks to fly up at Trigger's chin in a brutal uppercut.
