RE: Streets of Capitol
The group ran as fast as they could with Maddock some were in between Akeso and Roberta. Maddock Almost collapse as he turn is head and saw that the ship the beams were coming from was now an ever expanding orb of, by the looks of it, absolute destruction. Maddock kick on the afterburners in his heart and he started really laying down the leather. Then from behind he heard Roberta call out and remind him about the fact that her G.U.N. transport was just out side the city. Then Maddock remembered that his Dune buggy was still outside too. The city's boundaries were within reach, the group would see the end of this gray walled maze of a city soon enough.

"Only a little farther guys! Come on guys! Lets get out of here!"

The sphere's walls were moving ever closer, buildings were being engulfed by it and others yet to be taken in were setting ablaze as it got closer due to the shear heat of it.

RE: Streets of Capitol
Noka remained blank, his body felt slightly limp like as if he had already passed out.

[Ok, for the time being, Akeso is a "blank card." you may feel free to continue to skip her until Rose "returns" to explain the abscence.]

RE: Streets of Capitol
((Finally!))

Roberta kept her pace. Her thoughts kept returning to Shadow inside the Monoceros. Though she stayed behind Maddock, she continued to worry. Was Shadow okay? Had he managed to escape certain death? Was he already dead? How was he doing? That was the only thing on her mind as she kept moving...

RE: Streets of Capitol
Maddock had began to sweet bullets as the heat radiated off of the miniature sun that was expanding still, It had finally reached the road directly under were it had started to expand and now was pushing out words at an increased speed. Time would only tell if this nova would run out of "steam" so to speak, soon. Then Maddock cried out to Nokame.

"Are the rest of the group still behind us, Nokame?!"

Last thing that he wanted was to have to turn around to get some one now. They were so close to escaping, he had just broken free of the boundaries of the city, he did not want to go back in there... but he would if he had to.

*Come on old man, no time to slow down. You still have that obliterating orb behind you... Better get to your Dune Buggy soon, I doubt you have much time left.*

He seemed spacy, but he looked. He was incoincdently facing behind, he saw the girl running, then the blonde as well.

Then the flash of light heading towards them,
"Everyone is here.. . "

Roberta glanced around herself. "Everyone is here," she confirmed.

Except for Shadow...

RE: Streets of Capitol
Just as the group was out side of the city the orb ruptured and energy was shot out in all directions, leaving a 1 km wide crater behind. Energy sored overhead at exstream speed and dissipated off in the distance. By now he could see his dune buggy and the G.U.N. vehicle close by, Maddock hurried over to his dune buggy and put down Nokame before hurrying around the car to the drivers side and jumping in. Then Maddock spoke to Nokame in a semi-normal yet stern voice, then he raised his voice to speak to Roberta.

"Get in Nokame, were leaving. Roberta! Get your squad and the girl with you, I only got two seats in this thing!"

Maddock said to Nokame in a semi-normal yet stern voice, then Maddock raised his voice to speak to Roberta. He was glad to escape the chaos of what had been going on in the city. As Maddock looked at Nokame he couldn't help but notice that the space ship was plumeting at a 45-55 degree angle towards the sea.

"Roberta, look! The last ship falling out of the sky!"

Noka didnt think for a moment before jumping in. He felt a huge rush of pain sore through his head, but otherwise he did nothing more than breathe heavely.

RE: Streets of Capitol
Roberta made it to her vehicle and opened the door for everyone to pile in, but as she did she looked towards the Monoceros and watched helplessly as it broke the water's surface. For a moment she seemed to be in another world; she practically froze up.

Shadow... we haven't seen the last of each other... have we?

For a moment, all was still. Then someone called Roberta's name.

"ROBERTA, QUIT DAYDREAMING AND TAKE THE WHEEL! WE'VE GOT A SERIOUS SITUATION HERE!"

Snapping to attention, Roberta jumped in. Everyone was present and accounted for, including Akeso, so she turned the ignition key and started the engine.
